The worst customer service for the bank in 6 years. They cannot help me get my bank account back. I contacted customer service on WhatsApp, but it was of no use. God is sufficient for me, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. Fraud and deception.

Honestly I really like the bank, except they don't report salary transfers to the AECB. This hurts credit ratings. Apart from that I can't complain much. Wish they'd fix that bit and I'd come back as a customer tomorrow. 😕

Terrible experience
Terrible experience! I have been trying to get past the very first step on the app for weeks now but the app simply does not work. Each time I contact customer service I get a generic response that they probably just send to anyone who contacts them saying the problem has been resolved. In reality, nothing has been resolved and I don't even think anyone read my query. For a digital bank to have an app that does not even work and customer service who cannot help with the most simple of issues, I would be very worried about having any funds with them. I would advise extreme caution before proceeding with Wio. They clearly do not have the infrastructure and support in place to run a bank.

I've been using Wio Bank for a little over a year now.
I'm. very pleased with them. I find their customer support always answers my issues.
I was a customer of Emirates NBD for 20 years. Emirates NBD just suck at customer service....it's a completely alien concept for them.
I intend to continue with Wio.
Just a note. Banks have notoriously poor customer service globally. Particularly in the UAE. I do think Wio is a cut above.

I was planning to open with WIO bank, but after reading all these bad experience comments, there is no way I trust them with my money.

This bank steals its customers' money, literally! Stay away from this fraud of the bank, they freeze accounts then do not release the funds. Their customer service will give you the run-around for months if needed. It is incredible that the UAE Central Bank allows these scams to happen in broad daylight, it says a lot about the country. I will never do anything in the UAE again, not safe.

Worst Support ever, imagine I want to receive payments and they decline the payments from stripe and my customers. After I want to ask any support agent , they don’t respond to me and don’t care about my case. Worst bank I’ve ever seen in my life.

been using my Wio for just 5 days and then my account went" Sorry, something went wrong. Try later..." raised ticket to them, contact them in customer service, WhatsApp, and Facebook. 4 days later, nothing happened. They are just saying, "Rest assured that we are working on this and will update you as soon as possible." We've escalated this to the team. The same answer I'm getting for the couple of days. I'm really wondering if this team is working or sleeping or if they're not real at all.

Wish we could rate this bank minus as this is the worst bank where one can deal with my GBP 35,000 is on hold for the last 6 months I have tried visiting the head office in Abu Dhabi and calling them and emailing them numerous times but they didn't response. I can see my money in the bank statement and can't withdraw it. They are the biggest scam in the Dubai Banking system.

Ive been trying to retrive a payment (£5500 GBP) which i made that was rejected by the beneficiary almost 2 months ago and no one at wio helps.
I have called wio about 10 times to resolve this and havent made any progress.
Also asked the customer services agent agent to get a manager to call me on atleast 5 occasions ,but no one ever calls back.
Appaulling service based on this i wouldnt even give one star!

The worst customer support of any bank I have ever dealt with. Could not access my account for weeks. Even after speaking with their support, they escalate the ticket to their "technical team", then nothing happens. You contact them again and they will straight up ignore your questions and close the chat in your face. Rest assured we will find a new bank!

This WIO deducts the subscription charge for August 2024 on 2nd August 2024. Which is totally unacceptable. Its is worse service i ever found in UAE.
