I first contacted Wightfibre around 8 weeks ago, very helpful at first when you call up and a sale might be forthcoming. Then things changed.
My property on the Isle of Wight isn’t connected to fibre broadband, but they said if I provide them with details of the Managing Agent they use a special team that would liaise with them to gain approval to connect the property. Hence my review title “Helpful when it’s easy” because I’ve now phoned them on 5 occasions, each time receiving a variation of poor attitudes and people that don’t want to help. Over 8 weeks a courtesy call would be nice perhaps with any progress you’ve made or just a no update call - in only trying to buy one of your services! My most recent call was yesterday, I spoke to a lady who was totally unhelpful, stating a colleague was looking after my case, but he’s on his lunch break so I’ll get him to call you.
Nobody returned my call again, same as last time.
Today I have set up a new broadband connection with another company as Wightfibre were unhelpful. If anyone there disagrees, I suggest a Manager listens to my call yesterday and see if they got the same feeling as me.
Wightfibre now end up on my list of never agains which is poor because I was only trying to support a local business.

Easy to get started and book an appointment online have been kept informed at every stage. Installation was seamless and efficient. Now to enjoy my super fast broadband at a much more reasonable cost. So far so good 👍😊

WF packages are competitively priced, compared to other providers & the service generally works well.
There are occasions when the bandwidth drops, which can interfere with access e.g. streaming services. The 'handshake' between devices & the router is sometimes delayed too.
Overall; very happy with WF & delighted to use a local service provider.

Wight Fibre staff are very helpful and friendly. Everything was very clearly explained during installation. Matthew in the sales department was exceptionally helpful answering queries. So nice to be able to speak to a real person unlike other companies nowadays.
