Easier than I thought it would be and there was clear communication.
Awful don’t waste your time or money hiring from this company!
They will bring faulty goods, late then have the audacity to question your credibility when dealing with your complaints. With zero customer service and no support or procedures in place for escalating complaints, you will be left out of pocket and feeling completely ripped off!
My whole saga began with an order for 20 crates,and various other items, the day before delivery I was contacted to say only 6 existed however during the call 2 more mysteriously turned up, utterly ridiculous and 8 crates being insufficient for the move intended I subsequently had to cancel as the items were for a function the following day , I put down the shambolic misdemeanour to a one off and decided to place an additional order of an ice machine , once again Whybuy turned up at 22:00pm for a 18:00pm delivery , the driving citing traffic as their excuse , no instructions were given with the ice machine or directors on how to use , as it was so late there was no one to report the gigantic dent too! However I trusted the machine to work surely this company who cannot adhere to delivery times would ensure their appliances worked?!
As you can imagine not only did appliance fail to churn out one ice cube in 2 hours it went onto link and cause flooding during my elderly mothers 75th birthday surprise party!
I am so angry at this company whose only response was it works here !
Never Ever again
Love this concept, so when I stumbled across them in my local Tesco Extra while shopping for supplies for a BBQ, it was almost like fate!
I ended up hiring a patio heater and some outdoor lighting then and there. I had a long chat with the staff about the business and about how it’s a good idea etc. I was told how they have their own electric vans, so they’re environmentally friendly.
I later added a Giant Garden Connect 4 game and a 15m outdoor extension cable to my order.
The night before delivery I was emailed confirmation of delivery time and what I’d ordered, and the things I’d added on later were missing. After a few WhatsApp messages to and fro (which is a great way to communicate with customers in my view) they were able to send me an updated confirmation. When the delivery came, the Connect 4 was missing and the driver said it wasn’t on the order. Turns out it was, and he had it in the van anyway, and he explained how they have two systems which had different information.
The van he was using was a hired Enterprise diesel van, not a WhyBuy electric one like I was told.
The Connect 4 had four of the discs missing and the patio heater was faulty - it turned on but wasn’t height adjustable and we had to use lots of gaffer tape to keep the head facing up/out rather than at the floor.
The garden lights were fine but not amazing, and the extension lead was for the lights, so all in all the order was a waste of money.
The driver they sent to collect the order was earlier than the time of asked for, but thankfully I’d got organised and already moved it to my front door, so it wasn’t too inconvenient. Again, a non-electric Enterprise Van was used.
When I complained on WhatsApp about the Connect 4 (before I knew the heater was faulty) I was offered an insignificant 10% off my next order. I asked for a partial refund which was refused. I will not be ordering from them again.
This company rescued me with 24hrs to go. I needed 2 gazebos due to the horrendous weather and was able to secure these with collection( as normally would need 48hrs if delivered)
I will definitely use them again.
Don’t trust them with your event!
I had rented and payed for two gazebos for my little daughter’s birthday party, which was held on a very hot summer day - and only received one.

I love these guys! I needed to power wash my small patio, but it didn’t seem a worthy investment to buy a power washer for that small activity. No friends/ family had one near by, but fear not, WhyBuy saved the day! I placed the order on Thursday for an early arrival on Sunday. The delivery chap, Ovi, was really nice and energetic too! 10/10 would recommend.
