The toy subscription has been perfect for my little one’s exploring phase as he goes from baby to toddler and wants to explore endless items but gets bored of most toys after a couple of weeks. Whirli - A gift for parents
Whirli is the best thing parents could have . It offers so many age specific toys that your kids will never get bored . Also the plan they offer have so much flexibility, that you can upgrade or downgrade as per your needs . There are some toys we think we would never buy , mostly because you will run out of space ! But due to Whirli our kid can enjoy even those . Whirli is the best thing we discovered in 2025 , wish we had discovered it a year earlier:)

Such a brilliant service
Such a brilliant service! We got so much use out of the big ticket items in particular (bouncer and walker). We have cancelled as the influx of 1st birthday presents meant we no longer need additional toys but it has been well worth the money!

We have used Whirli for 3 years and really love the concept. The range of toys is excellent, always clean and in great condition. It really helps when the little ones lose interest fast and also gives parents the opportunity to try some toys before maybe buying them for good. Great idea but needed better range of toys
So i did this for a year or two when my son was one. I love the idea but i did find the range of toys limited after a while. Just having a clear out for my son who is now 6. He has so many toys that he only plays with occasionally as novelty always wears off quickly I suddenly thought id look on this website again and consider restarting. Was really disappointed with the range. Couldn't really see anything he would like..

You’re absolutely right that novelty wears off quickly at this stage — which is exactly why the rental model can be so valuable, provided we have the right mix of toys. We’re currently expanding our range for older children, and your comments will feed directly into that work.

My family loves this service! The kids love being able to choose new toys to rent, and we adults love being able to simply send back the toys when we’re done. It saves space, generates no waste, it’s amazing. I recommend it to everyone.

wonderful company
The team is lovely and very helpful! The service is great - borrowing toys instead of buying means less clutter and less waste. We've been with Whirli for years and really appreciate the effort that they make listening to customers' toy suggestions and expanding their range.
Only downside would be that browsing on the website can be a bit glitchy, but it no way affects the real service provided, which is the toys and swap service.

I've been with Whirli twice now and had…
I've been with Whirli twice now and had no issues with them. Toys have been clean and in good condition, they arrive promptly and I have plenty of time to send them back. A good range of toys to choose from. I ended my subscription first time with no issues at all. Restarted it again recently, contacted customer service by email a couple of times and they've always responded promptly and professionally.

Overall a great service
Overall a great service and I’d really recommend for families with younger kids looking for more variety (and less clutter) and a more environmentally friendly way of cycling toys. There is a good variety of toys on offer (including eg. Tonies box characters) although the more popular items tend to have a waitlist. Everything has always arrived clean and in good condition, customer service has been quite responsive and the team have been understanding when we forgot to pack a couple of small pieces and allowed us to return them at a later date rather than penalising us.
The two issues I found were:
- Royal Mail delivery can be inconvenient. Some items are large and arrive in a large box, making it difficult to return to a RM pick up point on my way to work and having to wait for RM to collect during a pick up window can be expensive and inconvenient.
- toys with lots of small parts (eg. brio) kept getting lost among our other toys making it quite time and labour intensive to organise a return!
However I would recommend this overall and my kids have had a lot of enjoyment from it!

It's wonderful to hear that everything has arrived in great condition and that our team has been helpful - we genuinely care about making swapping as easy as possible for busy families.
Your feedback about the delivery and return process is incredibly valuable. We know how tricky it can be juggling large boxes with work schedules, and we're always looking at ways to make returns more convenient for parents. Of course, larger toys do need bigger boxes to keep them safe during their journey to you, but we completely understand the logistical challenge this creates.
As for those sneaky small pieces that love to hide among other toys - a challenge that we are very familiar with as parents ourselves! We're actually working on some exciting ways to make tracking multi-part toys much easier for parents, so watch this space. In the meantime, here's a little tip that many families find helpful.. try using a designated 'Whirli box' or basket to keep all the pieces together during play. Some parents even take a quick photo of everything when it arrives, which makes packing up much easier.
We're constantly working to improve the experience, and reviews like yours help us understand what matters most to real families. The fact that your children are having such a wonderful time exploring new toys while you're reducing clutter and helping the planet makes our day!

Whirli have been so great the last 1.5 years (and previous to this when under different ownership).
