Just to let you know the order was left on the doorstep after delivery on Saturday, we were away for the weekend and did not get back to Monday. The courier did not allow any options to leave with a neighbour or leave in a safe place.
However on opening the package I found that both of the pots of paint where split on the bottom (have photo’s), it was fortunate that the pots were well wrapped up by yourselves, otherwise the box would be full of paint. I have turned them upside down and taped the bottom to create an air tight seal, before I use them next week. I can only assume that the courier had either dropped the box or put something heavy on them, I did notice that the inside of box on the bottom showed two rings of the paint pots were, this was despite the bubble wrap.

West End DIY sold a rare set of heavy duty staircase brackets of which I ordered 36. WED had to order extra in. Sending the brackets in two lots was key issue with their (outsourced) shiping service relying on couriers unwiling to carry such heavy goods.
A first lot had more incidents than Homer on his Odyssey: (i) went missing, (ii) was declared refused by recipient, (iii) lost by courier, and (iv) finally re-sent by a different courier directly by WED. Jack at WED followed-up with persistence, was good at comms and willing to sort this out (I'm sure his shipping cost was higher than budgeted in the end). Took some 7-8 weeks in the end, but I was impressed by WED's willingness to get this sorted and get me my order. I shall return.

I had saw a specific wallpaper that I loved for my kitchen but the original website I saw it from had sold out and I was finding it really hard to source. A specific search brought up West end DIY and I ordered the 2 rolls (I thought) I needed. Turns out I need 2 more and placed a further order. I received an email from the company today only 1 roll had come from the wholesaler but they were getting a 2nd one in for me but would be short delay. I very much appreciate this update so feel the service has been excellent! Will definitely order again! Thank you 🤩

This company has outstanding customer service, I had encountered a couple of problems ( not their fault) with a garden dining set I purchased, they went above and beyond to rectify this to my satisfaction.
Jack was amazing…. THANK YOU!
Certainly can’t recommend this company enough. 😊

I don't normally write reviews, but on this occasion I just had to. I ordered 2 tins of paint, which were cheaper (even with £4.99 postage) than anywhere else I'd looked. They were delivered 3 days later, with an incredible amount of bubble wrap, padding, cling film and a thick cardboard box. Well done to whoever packed my product because it would've been indestructible in transit! Thank you so much Westend DIY...10/10

Second time now Corby West End Diy have gone above and beyond for me. First time I had a bag of Compost delivered the same day free of charge, today I
had a sink plug delivered within an hour, again free of charge, as the assistant manager lives on my estate.
I visited the Sutton in Ashfield branch in Dec 2024 as I needed advice on how to cover very dark emulsion on my bathroom walls. The gentleman advised me dulux primer was the best £28.i did as advised 2 coats over couple of days followed by couple days later emulsion. But it's all reacting. I have since asked another diy store what could be wrong and I'm informed that the primer is for masonry not plastered walls as westend diy told me. Even when asked he said walls are walls. I now have to sand it all down.
Found WestEnd DIY online while searching for paint - very good price and arrived very well packaged indeed. Only problem was one tin was satinwood, when I had ordered all eggshell. I sent a photo through by email and they responded very quickly, sending a replacement by fast courier. Very impressed!
I found these guys online after being let down by another supplier on a wallpaper order. Within an hour of placing my online order they were calling me to offer a discount as their promotion started the next day (absolutely no obligation to do so, but very much appreciated). Paper arrived 24hrs later, very well packed and exactly as I'd expected. Top class customer service and will certainly be using again. Thank you
Very helpful staff, nice broad product range, would definitely recommend and will definitely be visiting again!
This is the first time ordering from West End DIY, but it won’t be the last. The website was easy to navigate, and the communication and customer service was excellent. I had to call, as I needed delivery before Christmas, and the phone number was on their emails, with a very quick and helpful response. Even the delivery driver called when they arrived.
Thank you for a great service!!
