The purchasing process was unnecessarily complicated, with numerous upsells, add-ons and prompts to navigate through. Despite being careful during checkout, I still ended up with an unexpected additional charge of around $50.
The book itself was expensive, and after spending close to $200 in total, I was expecting a premium level of service to match the premium price. Unfortunately, after waiting around a month, I still have not received my order and had to chase updates myself.
Based on my experience, I would think carefully before ordering again.

Beware
Beware. They automatically sign you up for the subscription when you purchase a book and then charge you over $30 a month even though yoy prove that you never used it and they refused to reverse a same day charge when brought forth to them. Pretty scammy if you ask me. I get I should have read the fine print but if I catch it right away and no support, that's not okay.

Unauthorized subscription
Hi,
I bought the book for my baby records and it I was wrongly subscribed for the services which I never asked for as I did not even use it once. I might have logged in to check it but never used it. When I checked my PayPal account there was a recurring charge. Not happy with that and would not recommend their services. Even when they advertised it showed as a hard book cover but the book received was not hard book. Tried contacting them but to no avail. Sad service and bad product advertising. Not happy.

I’m giving this 1 star only because I can’t give zero.
I purchased the book more than a month ago.
When I first saw the offer, it stated that the book cost around €60, which is why I decided to buy it. However, during the checkout process, additional items kept being added. I was unable to complete the purchase unless I included them, so I did, without realizing—because it was not clearly explained—that I was subscribing to an app that I have never used, as my baby has not even been born yet.
On top of that, more than a month later, I still do not have the book. I contacted customer service, but they only provided a generic response, telling me to contact the postal service myself to find out where it was.
I managed to find the tracking number, but in order to see where the book was located, I had to download yet another paid application to access the collection address. I then contacted customer service again for help. Eventually, they were able to see internally that the book had been lost and that they would need to produce and send a new copy.
A few days later, I noticed a charge of €28.99 on my account from the company. When I asked what it was for, I was told it was for the app subscription. I have never used the app, as my baby has not been born yet and I have not even received the book.
I contacted customer service requesting a refund for this charge. After speaking with four different agents, I was not given a refund, nor an apology, nor any solution that left me satisfied.
In summary, I have paid €120 for nothing. By the time I am supposedly due to receive the book, my baby will already have been born, and as you can imagine, I will no longer have the time to fill it out during pregnancy as I had originally hoped

One star — buyer beware: unclear app charge and no refund even when unused
Buyer beware. I spent over $100 on a baby book, and while the book itself seemed overpriced but nice, the purchasing experience was very distressing.
What was not made clear to me was the app charge. I later found an unexpected charge of over $42 on my credit card for an app I did not know I had, did not need, and never used.
I contacted customer service and explained that I am the grandma, not the mom, so I have absolutely no use for the app. I also told them they should be able to verify that I never opened or used it. Their answer was basically: sorry, no refunds. I asked for the issue to be escalated to a manager, and the manager repeated the same thing.
So because of their unclear app charge and rigid no-refund policy, I ended up paying around $142 for a so-so baby book with their names on the cover.
In my opinion, this is a terrible way to treat customers. If a charge was unclear, their expensive app was never used, and the customer reaches out right away, the decent thing to do would be to refund it. Instead, they chose policy over fairness.
I would not buy from this company again, and I would strongly caution other grandparents or gift buyers to be very careful before ordering. What looks like a sweet baby book purchase can turn into a much more expensive experience than expected.
