I strongly caution anyone considering Web Design Avalon. I hired them for a custom website with hosting, domain access, CMS, online payment integration, SEO setup, and full ownership rights. Despite paying $930 across multiple dates, they failed to deliver a live, functional website. Instead, they put a temporary site online and repeatedly misled me about project progress.

I dealt directly with Jeff, Jason, and Alan, who promised full service but refused to provide hosting or domain control, claiming it was “standard practice,” which is false. They only offered raw files and stated they were ending the project, refusing to take responsibility after delivery. I have evidence of all communications, the original agreement, and proof of payment.

This is not an isolated incident—Web Design Avalon has multiple verified complaints on Trustpilot, with at least 13 reviews reporting non-delivery, and an overall rating of 2.1/5. There are also negative reports on ScamAdvisor and Reddit regarding similar misrepresentation and failure to deliver services.

Based on my experience with Jeff, Jason, and Alan and the documented history of complaints, I cannot recommend this company. Anyone hiring them should exercise extreme caution, verify contract terms thoroughly, and demand proof of hosting and domain control before making any payments.

Scammers!!! You NEVER get the product AND withOUT warning they automatically sign you up for a monthly VIP package deal. These SCAMMERS took the $29.99 "VIP" charge BEFORE 4 weeks and I NEVER received the product I bought. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.

We were visited by Alan yesterday who helped choose a funeral plan as we are expats living in Spain.
We were delighted with the service from Avalon. Alan was friendly, informative and definitely not a ‘pushy’salesperson. He talked us through the options and available plans and helped us choose the plan that was right for us.
We couldn’t recommend this company more highly, especially for expats in Spain. The funeral system in Spain is completely different to the one in the uk. Now we have a plan with Avalon it has given us peace of mind.

I tried my best to coordinate with them but it was like they don't even care they destroyed my website and didn't pay back the money

I was scammed by this group, who had the audacity to contact me as "designsutility.com" and try to sell me on a fix.

SCAM... I'm still waiting for the promised refund. Please do not believe these people.

SCAMMERS! They took my money and after 1 month of working with them went completely MIA. They closed their website, phone number and email and were impossible to contact. After months of attempts I finally saw that their website 'customer chat' was working again, so after begging them to send me the vector graphics they agreed they would send within 24 hours. I waited 2 MORE WEEKS, nothing! They even had the audacity to try and upsell other sketchy services to me, after not even completing the original job. TRUST THE REVIEWS these people are liars and frauds. GO LOCAL!!

I am giving Avalon a 2 star review because they started out strong but after taking my money in November ($994.00) I told them that I was unable to get them the needed information for the site until after the Holidays. In the beginning of January I forwarded the required info requested. They have not been in contact... I emailed and called no response. Today I called The bank and requested my money to be returned.

I have hired someone to create a logo for me. It has been almost a month and still haven’t received anything from them!! Website Avalon is doing a worst service ever!

SCAMMERS SCAMMERS SCAMMERS! Steer away from these thieves. I hired them for the design of my website, they took $750 from me and never answered back after that. Beware of Rachel Smith & Mike. I have reported them to FBI internet scam unit or ic3.gov.
They’re being investigated. Grotesque people, I can’t stand humanity out of these reasons, stealing money from everyday hardworking Americans. Disgusting!!!!!! Hope you don’t get a good night sleep whoever is behind this scheme. Karma will strike you back , and she works fast!!! Cowards!!!

Shady company, Not US based , Took part of the money and never heard from them again. Wasted money + time, Please don’t do business with these guys !!!!
