Inconsistent Products with ZERO Customer Service
Due to the products being handmade the consistency varies each time I place an order for the Soil. The consistency this time around is like miracle whip. I have called (got the same bogus voicemail) online return (got the same bogus we are unable to locate your order error message and emailed, to obtain a refund or replacement product but there has been absolutely no follow up on my requests. There is absolutely no way to have a successful company and think that you will be able to ignore the complaints of dissatisfied customers. All companies that do that eventually go under.
Disappointing Customer Service!!!
I’ve been a loyal customer of Plantmade, and while their products are genuinely good, their customer service has been a major letdown. I’ve had an ongoing issue with a missing package for over a month now. I’ve reached out multiple times through various channels—emails, Instagram message, phone calls, and voicemails—only to be met with minimal and unhelpful responses.
I even paid extra for package protection specifically for situations like this, but despite this, my issue remains unresolved. The only communication I received was a generic acknowledgment saying, “Thanks for reaching out! We will be with you soon,” which was sent several weeks ago and has led to no further assistance.
The lack of effective customer support has been incredibly frustrating. It’s clear that Plantmade needs to significantly improve their customer service processes. The delay and poor response make it hard to recommend their services, despite the quality of their products. If you decide to buy from them, just be prepared for a potential headache if issues arise.

I made an order for £178.99 on 5 Aug. I emailed on 10th Aug with a separate query, I received a AI reply saying my enquiry had been passed to the another team and they would get back to me. On 23rd August I went online to find out my products had been shipped to me but i had not received them nor had anyone contacted me about my earlier question. I emailed again, asking for clarification on my order both through the AI chat and via email. To date I have not had any response. I am not happy.
5 stars for the products but thumbs down for customer service. I just want to talk to someone and get this resolved.

Poor communication after missing item situation
I have ordered from Plantmade a few times before and been reslly happy with their service. However the last time, I had only one item sent to me even though I ordered and paid for 2. Customer service is a F#*#ing joke
I love the product but customer service is horrible. It took 3 weeks to recieve half of my order but I am still missing the rest. The website days everything has been delivered but it has not. I've called and got voicemail I have emailed several times with no response. It has now been 5 weeks since I ordered and I am still missing items with no response from customer service. I do not recommend this company to anyone. I would give negative stars if I could. Abysmal Customer Service
I never bother with bad reviews but I am so frustrated with Plantmade and do not want others to experience the abysmal customer service that I have. After placing an order last year, I was appalled to find that they charged my credit card a year later for another payment without my authorisation. I did not place another order.
Despite contacting them multiple times, I received an email back more than a week later with no apology for the unauthorised charge or the delay. I was told by Ama the Founder that the only way to receive a refund was to return the order—an order I never requested or authorised. I refused the delivery, and despite following up more than 10 times since, I have received no further communication and am still waiting for my refund.
This experience has revealed significant issues with Plantmade’s business practices, including unauthorised transactions, lack of accountability, and terrible customer service. Even if the products were of high quality, I would avoid this company at all costs and strongly advise others to do the same. No business should operate in such an unprofessional manner.
Great products that actually work.
Delivery did take longer than I expected but as always the products are A1. It’s helped my baby’s hair grow so much! And I have locs now and it has really supported the growth of my locs and now they are really flourishing. Plant made make great products that actually work.

Your products are phenomenal! Your delivery of them is heartbreaking. I first had to wait 6 months to receive my order. After multiple unanswered emails & voicemails, I thought I had lost my money. Until one day you all did a Live on IG and my order was processed and delivered…but it was incomplete. 6 months late and incomplete was truly heartbreaking and it made me think about why would I re-order…the way my hair feels after using your products makes me feel confident and happy with my hair, but the wait for them made my hair fall out from lack of using Plantmade. waited 25+days for delivery
Loved the plantmade brand and company / founder story etc however after placing my order I had to wait around 25 days before I received it, all the while trying to chase to get updates and confirmations.
Wasn’t the best experience but hopefully the company can refine the customer experience to align with the goodwill invested in them from customers buying their products.
