You won’t regret training with Russell.
I have trained with Russell and also used his expertise in martial arts seminars in Northern Ireland. I have found him to be nothing but professional, courteous and a leader in his field. The classes are welcoming and friendly, every session you leave feeling energised and like you have progressed.

Excellent club to join
Excellent, my daughter absolutely loves coming. It’s a great atmosphere, with fully qualified Sifu’s that give the children a fun experience whilst learning at the same time. The club has brought my daughter lots of confidence too. Would recommend to anyone.

A great place to learn martial arts in an encouraging and friendly atmosphere.
If you're thinking about taking your first steps into Kung Fu, I couldn't recommend this school more. The instructors are patient, supportive, and explain techniques in a clear, easy-to-understand way. As you advance theres a heavy emphasis on technical aspects of Wing Chun that keep the sessions interesting. All around if you're reading this review and on the fence about going to a class you shouldn't hesitate!

Great classes
Really laid back atmosphere which takes the stress out of taking the first step. Knowledgable teachers who explain the theories behind all the principles. If you put in the work, they are more than happy to impart their knowledge with nothing held back. Highly recommend

Great attention to detail and fun!
I took online lessons with Sifu Steve, and he managed to make them fun and interactive. I would highly recommend in-person classes though: you'll learn lots and have fun at the same time. Great attention to detail and lots of knowledge.

Excellent school for Wing Chun
Excellent school for Wing Chun. Great location, friendly and knowledgeable students and instructors.
Relaxed approach to teaching but not at the expense of learning and growth.

Friendly atmosphere, interesting and clear instructors
Lessons are held in a primary school hall, which is clean and well-lit. There is easy access and parking is available. It is a friendly atmosphere, and instructors are clear and amicable in how they explain things. I have been able to learn at my own pace and set my own goals which has been great. I enjoy learning from teachers that can explain both the why and how of Wing Chun, giving me a good understanding of this martial art.

Joined Brighton Wing Chun from a different organisation after a house move. Made to feel very welcome by instructors and students from the start. I’m particularly interested in the body mechanics behind the system and have gained great understanding from Sifu and the more experienced students knowledge. Would highly recommend for fitness and mindfulness.

Best wing chun in the UK
Best wing chun in the UK, very skilled instructors with a thorough knowledge base and incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The yearly seminars with all the clubs is amazing and great to be around large amounts of dedicated martial art people, 6+ years with them and still the same consistently high quality teaching

Beginner friendly
As a someone with no prior martial arts experience i can say i feel at the right place. Classes are tailored to individual’s level and progress is steady, deliberate and rewarding. There is high emphasis on both spiritual and physical growth.
Optional private classes are great way to speed up progress and work on weak areas. Local club or organisation wide seminars are often held, which are great experiences

Gem of wing chun class!
Very knowledgeable teacher and friendly class atmosphere. Great way to get fit whilst learning something very useful. The class is varied and there's always something new to learn and refine be it from the chi kung to forms to practising with partners. Great school.
