For the past three months, my daughter has been learning under the guidance of Master Gayle. His teaching style is exceptional, enriched with meticulous attention to detail. He carries a respectful demeanor, making his classes enjoyable for my daughter. Without a doubt, I recommend him to anyone keen on learning taekwondo.

For more than 15 years, I've been under the guidance of Master Gayle, and even when I repeat the same error, he remains remarkably patient. His expertise in technique is truly outstanding.

My daughter has been attending Taekwondo sessions for a few months and thoroughly enjoys it. I have noticed that it has helped her confidence improve already.

My 2 children attend Master Gayle’s sessions for the last 2 years and previously we had other instructors due to Covid, moving house etc. I cannot imagine they ever give up, this is part of their life and life routine, they feel like part of the team there. It is not only about physical activity, but also philosophy and respect to life. Master Gayle despite being one of the highest ranked people in TKD in UK is very modest and approachable, great person and character, ideal role model for everyone, not just children 😀. There is variety of training, sparing and a bit of fun for children at the end of the session. Regularly there are grading sessions when you go up in your TKD skills and go to higher belt. If you want, there is a chance to attend different competitions in TKD and win medals in sparing, musical routines etc. Highly recommended! I am thinking to join as an adult beginner myself as I know I will feel welcome and motivate my children even more.

One of the best of the best Taekwon-do instructors in the world but with family at it's heart. Fantastic for all ages, I started back in the 90s as a 13 year old as a non sporty kid and Ray and Mark (Master G and Master O now) were and still are amazing role models and friends creating a brilliant inclusive organisation with family, quality instruction and knowledge at it's roots.

For me, when people ask the question of who were your inspirational teachers that made an impact on your life, it would be them.

I had persued other things in life after uni, but was blessed that Master G and Master Os martial arts schools were still running after trying out a few other schools as well. My children have gained confidence in everything they do over the years and have additional brilliant role models that I share. My wife has now gotten stuck in as well and we all enjoy these classes together as a family.

Technically excellent with many international level champions and competitors should that be important to you, but with friendly and knowledgeable instructors all round.

Not just your average martial arts school, Master G's and his team have a wealth of knowledge, from SEN support, safeguarding and much more, doing all the right things.

More recently for me, it has allowed me a route into becoming a stunt performer for Film and TV with the ITF certification that Master G is associated with.

Blessed to be a student, friend and able to share with my family.

Master Gayle's classes are incredible and so professional; suitable for age 4 and up, the oldest members are in their 70's and beyond, it really is a martial art for anyone and everyone, teaching life skills and a huge sense of well-being - go along and try it, his teaching skills are phenomenal and that comes from decades of dedication to TaeKwon-do and his students.

Master Gayle has been teaching my daughter for 3 months.
He is an excellent teacher, who has excellent teaching methods, and great attention to detail.

I have been training with Master Gayle in Yate for over 20 years (and have known him for even longer through training camps) and can honestly say that I would not be the person I am today without Taekwon-Do. Master Gayle is great instructor, coach and a leader, his classes are full of sparring sessions, techniques and patterns and everything is run in friendly atmosphere.

I have been a part of Yate Taekwondo for over 10 years. I have learnt how to keep myself fit and flexible. As well as how to defend myself, develop my confidence and discipline as a teenager. While in a fun and friendly environment with wonderful people.

I have been training under Master Raymond Gayle since the age of four, PUMA martial arts is a fun and relax environment to train in and gives you a chance to be yourself and improve or unlock abilities. Everyone I have ever trained with have all been super supportive and easy to talk too, it is like we are all one big family. As of starting at a young age PUMA taekwondo has helped me to gain confidence in myself and what I do, it has taught me to take risks and to take part in things whether I succeed or not. Through Taekwondo I have gained many friends with people who are now a big part of my life and helped me to excel in many areas of my life not just the training part. I am forever greatful for the experiences and opportunities I have been given throught Taekwon-do and the support I have received from Master Gayle. Master Ray Gayle is a Taekwon-Do practitioner of outstanding ability and technical knowledge. He has practiced Taekwon-Do for over 40 years and is an 8th Degree Black Belt, one of the highest graded people in the world.

He has vast teaching experience ranging from students just starting their training career at 4 years old through to junior and adult colour belt students, Black Belts at a range of levels, seasoned veterans, and those competing at an international level.

Master Gayle has been the chairman of the Professional Unification Of Martial Arts (P.U.M.A.) for over 20 years, and he teaches within this organization. P.U.M.A. is a very forward-thinking organization, which emphasizes professionalizing the teaching of martial arts, the training of instructors and officials to the highest levels, and the development of each student through their martial arts journey to reach their maximum potential. I strongly recommend Master Gayle as a teacher, his Taekwon-Do school, and the P.U.M.A. organization to anyone who wishes to learn Taekwon-Do.

Not long after my kids started Taekwondo I was encouraged to join them. I have been training now for over twenty years & whilst I might be amongst the oldest students now it still remains a great way to exercise & have fun. Age really is no barrier just need to be prepared to give it a go & be prepared to surprise yourself at what you might be capable of. The kids made friends & learnt how to work together with all sorts of people which are skills they still use as adults. Personally it enables me to stay fit & healthy & keeps me ‘young at heart’. I never would have thought of myself as a martial artist yet here I am all these years later reaping the benefits. Definitely one of the best choices I have made in life.
