Great fintech app
Great fintech app! I’m using it everyday.
In the beginning I wasn’t able to pay at some places, but in the recent month I haven’t had such issues anymore.
The cashback feature is nice.
Also, I had a very good experience with the customer service.

W1TTY points have never worked...
You never know which businesses are going to apply the cashback or not, hence this lost utility.
Not to mention the commissions to pay in foreign currency that are applied randomly even in purchases on Aliexpress

My wife and I have been using W1TTY for almost a year now. Works smoothly and has a unique value proposition with 3% cash back on all purchases except those via Paypal and Curve. The customer Support team is also helpful if need be.

I stopped using it when they decided to stop giving cashback if the purchase was made through an intermediary (Curve). In addition, sometimes a commission is imposed on the payment in some businesses, probably because some internet businesses are considered international payments despite the fact that the service is provided in my country, and it is impossible to know before the payment unless you have the experience of previous occasions. W1tty has stopped being attractive to me. I no longer use it.
To the answer: Thanks for confirm. If you guys ever change the conditions again, I'll be back.

Shadow-banning accounts without a reason and treats users as criminals
I liked this bank. Never had issues with it until one I tried to supply my account with money. I made 2 transfers from my 'main' bank to w1tty with the reason "money for gold". At the time I was planning on buying investment gold with the money (it wasn't going to happen anyway as it is not allowed to buy gold in EU with transfers from non-EU accounts but I understood that later). W1tty blocked both transfers because apparently it violates their policy. Ok whatever, that's ok, but that's not the end of it. After this case I guess their KYC put me in some gray list of users which have to explain every incoming transaction they get. This is very inconvenient and slows down transaction times with days as they don't even bother to reply. Since then I've tried twice to supply my account with money. On the first payment they wanted explanation for the transaction and it went through after I explained what I was planning on spending the money on. On the second they again wanted explanation - I explained again what I was going to spend my money on, although I don't owe them explanations and asked why are they asking me every time and treating me like some sort of a criminal. This time I got no reply and the transaction was rejected. Since then, I contacted support via the app and he said he has no access to the emails and said that someone's going to reply to me.
It's been 10 days since then - no explanation was given.
Summary: nice cashback, awful KYC, expect to be shadow-banned without explanation

Poor treatment of customer and short-term changes of GT&C
I made very bad experience with W1TTY and I would like to warn you about the practices of the company and the treatment of customers. I liked the W1TTY card due to its cashback feature. I am using a curve card since it has many benefits for me. However, W1TTY changed its general terms and conditions in December 2022. According to the new general terms and conditions transactions made with the curve card are excluded from the cashback. I have not recieved any notifcations of this change of the terms. According to the customer support no email was sent to the customers but a non-permanent push notification was made. I am not able to verify whether this push notification was made or not. Since I have not noticed this change I was still using the curve card in connection with W1TTY during December and beginning of January. I started wondering why I am not credited any cashback. I conntacted the customer service that something is wrong with my cashback. They informed me about the change of the terms. I asked if it was possible to give me the cashback as a gesture of goodwill for this period, because the change was made at very short notice and I was not informed about it. After writing a complaint I got the reply from W1TTY that they can do what they want with their cashback programm and I could have read the change on the website. Yeah, that is really customer friendly! From my point of view, this is a completely unfair way of dealing with customers, and it is unrealistic to read through the GT&C (General Terms and Conditions) on a daily basis. Please tell me are you checking the general terms and conditions of your bank on a dialy basis? Honestly, this is not an acceptable reply to a customer. It would have been desirable to reasonably inform customers of such an important change and give customers a month or at least a week to adjust to it. I had some other smaller problems with W1TTY but I accepted these issues due to the attractive conditions. Now, I have switched to a competitor. Currently, I am more than happy with the deal of the competitor and the customer services of the other company is more cooperative and customer friendly.

Scam Service
I accidentally found out about this service and decided to register. But because of the terrible KYC process, I don't want to be associated with them in any way.
I provided them with my passport and residence permit, as they requested in the app. They demanded more documents through email letters. Everything was okay, and I sent them what they requested. But more was needed, and there was always a missing document with each email.
This service is a scam, and I am worried that they or others will use my data against me.
I do not recommend even registering!

It's not worth anymore.
It was a very good deal but recently it was introduced a new rule for the cashback. You're no longer eligible to get it if you use E-wallet like Curve or PayPal.
That means there is no reason for using W1tty as a service, better move to Vivid or similar where you have some cashback.

NO MORE Cashback with Curve+W1TTY (Sneaky change behind the clients back)
I just found form Customer Support that payments made through Curve no longer get cashback on W1TTY...
When I asked how they informed clients for that change I was presented with T&C valid to November 30, 2022 and that AFTER I asked in chat!!!
They added CURVESUBSCRIPTION to the list of EXCLUDED merchants on the bottom here (legal dot w1tty dot com slash promo slash cashback) and bother to notify no one!
All November I had Cashback for all eligible transactions, even on December 2 I have transactions made from Curve that have Cashback.
Shady practices and behind the curtain changes. I'd advise against using W1TTY!

Avoid using this platform at any cost
Let’s start from the beginning. I was supposed to receive funds from a friend to W1tty account on 20th of October. Next day I received email from W1tty to verify KYC information until that money will be on hold. After submitting they promised to refund the money on 27. And after writing a review here CEO Ammar took this matter personally within 48 hours problem supposed to be solved.I contacted the senders bank and they have confirmed funds has been released but customer service agent says she can’t do anything because they never received money.I have attached all the necessary proof and I hope this thieves get what they deserve
