VW has lost focus on quality with explanations which do not make sense.
Have an issue with the Seat cover of my Polo - the Car is aprox 1 1/2 years old.
The Seat covers have a fault in one of the seems.
Having raised the problem with the local VW store who has raised it with VW.
The reply from VW was that they would not cover this fault within the guarantee because it was due to unnormal use of the front seat or are an outside influence.
I do not understand this reason - I think I have a quite normal use of the front seat and I have not observed any influence coming from the outside.
It has not been possible to get VW to explain the rejection nor to get it in writing
I have had quite a few VW or Audi cars because I expect these brands to be of a higher quality and expecting quality conscious attitude - but apparently not. So what am I paying the premium price for.
KEEP AWAY FROM VW UNTIL THEY GET BACK IN A QUALITY MINDSET.
DIESELGATE HAS SHOWN THAT VW NOT TRUSTWORTHY-AND NOW THROWING AWAY THE QUALITY FOCUS - WHAT IS THEN LEFT.
KEEP AWAY FROM VW UNTIL THEY GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER.
