Ordered prescription VR lenses in…

💥💥💥EDIT AT BOTTOM FOLLOWING VR WAVE RESPONSE: Ordered prescription VR lenses in February (Order #47761) from VR WAVE. The first set was defective (magnets fell off by June). I emailed them in July. After repeated contact they promised a prescription replacement. They then sent non-prescription lenses, and later shipped empty frames with no lenses.

Throughout this process, communication has been extremely poor — long stretches of silence, canned replies, and repeated claims that my emails “went to spam,” even though I was replying directly within the same thread. Each time I was told the issue would be handled, nothing happened until I pushed again, and every “resolution” resulted in another problem.

It’s now been months of placating and deflection without a proper resolution. I am preparing to escalate this through my payment provider and to file formal complaints with consumer protection agencies. Proceed with caution.

💥💥💥 RESPONSE TO VR WAVE’s MESSAGE BELOW REGARDING ISSUE:

Thank you for responding here. I’ve already checked my inbox — the only private message I’ve received simply restated that two “replacements” were sent, but neither contained the correct prescription lenses (one was non-prescription, the other was empty frames). I’ve replied in detail by email.

I’m hoping VR WAVE will take the time to actually review that information and provide either the correct prescription lenses or a refund. I’ll update my review if a genuine resolution is reached.

incorrectly made lenses and so far 3 weeks of delays to get replacements started

lenses for ray ban wayfarer gen2 arrived within 2 weeks but they did not fit as they were oversized therefore useless
I have been working with customer service for over three weeks now and it is a tiring and annoying process of delayed responses and additional requests for more information and I also received a statement that new lenses were being made followed by responses that they are still getting approval to remake the lenses which is unacceptably frustrating
My first experience and will probably be may last time to work with VR Wave unless they raise their game and take action to replace their defective lenses asap
A good plan for replacement lenses has become an ongoing unending frustration with a lack of communication or commitment
I will update my review as progress is made

When I ordered the lenses

When I ordered the lenses, they made sure my prescription was correct. The lenses arrived quickly and are very clear. Customer service was awesome. I would definitely order again.

One of my lens was defected

One of my lens was defected. Was told to clean with alcohol and that it was my fault. Using alcohol made it worse. Not buying another lens.

Over all the product was good

Over all the product was good. I could see clear, it shipped pretty fast and it came extremely well packaged to maintain them safe. My only slightly complain is that the right side of my set doesn’t necessarily click on like the left side so sometimes I have to play around for it to work and half the time just have it against my eye until I can try to fix that.

Lenses dont fit.

They took my order and took very long to even tell me what was going on. I had to call and then they shipped it. The worst part was the lenses. They actually dont fit, the video they show very easy installation but the ones they sent they dont fit at all despite doing all the recommended steps. This is the worst idea. Dont do it.

I don’t have usable lenses

I don’t have usable lenses. I paid for replacement lenses September 1, I still don’t have them. I’m considering disputing the charges for both sets of lenses at this point. I’ve paid for two but don’t have lenses I can use. This is dragging on for months.
