Terrible!!!

Terrible!!!! Never buy- we just bought a house with this security system and the company refused to help us without the prior owners jumping through a millions hoops. First day in house alarms are going off they refused to help us needless to say my husband just ripped the system out of the wall after 30 minutes of ear screeching alarms and companies refusal to help sooo great customer service

When I called to have the service cancelled...

When I called to have the service cancelled as we were moving to another state I had to go through an arduous process to do so. I was transferred 4 times and had to give the the information of the account every time. I then was sent an email that I had to send an email or send a snail mail with all the information to start the cancellation. The cancellation would not be effective for 30 days after receipt of that email

A set up to force you into a selling point system.

My wife and I bought our vivant system about 5 years ago. Paid cash, not monyhly payments, This morning, our carbon monoxide detector started beeping every 45 seconds. We changed the battery and still it beeps. For hours it beeped. When I got home, I called vivant, they had me pull the detector off and check the expiration date; June 11, 2023. I was told we had to buy a new one because it was out of warranty. The expiration date is June 11, 2023. I asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor refused to talk to me and offered a $15 discount. I hung up and was mad as he77.

The garage door opener has NEVER worked properly. The glass break alarm even though we have changed the batteries multiple times says it has low batteries.

We should have never bought this system.

Called to get a quote for a security…

Called to get a quote for a security system..was met with a guy reading from a script. When I said I just wanted a quote he became rude and obnoxious... when we finally finished getting all the information about the house he says they need to run my credit before they can quote me. What?!?! I said I'd be paying cash and not financing anything and he still insisted he could not quote me anything without running my credit... seriously bad customer service and business practices.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service, I wouldn’t buy this product! They charge you monthly and have you sign a contract. My system was unable to be removed from door as there’s a special tool. They are still charging me!

Bad experience

I tried to Vivant with other monitoring systems and asked the salesperson some questions. She insisted that they were better than everyone else but when I asked how, she couldn't explain it to me and then hung up. It was really unexpected and made me think there isn't anything behind their claims. If this is what you get from speaking to the salesperson then I can imagine being a customer would be much worse.

I called to cancel service and was treated rudely, then hung up on. Called back, lady was nice but said too bad, you are locked into a 5 year contract.....WOW ...that came as a huge surprise ..so ill pay bur steer clear from these ppl...rude and uninformed. Save yourself some time and patience

My experience has NOT a pleasant one

My experience has NOT a pleasant one. From the sales person not providing an invoice or explanation of the charges, catching the salesperson in a couple of lies, the billing issues, finance company providing incorrect information, no one being capable of explaining the starter kit price other than “that's just our price that was set by the company” to being provided the wrong cancellation day to get out of the contract. I’ve regretted letting the sales person into my home and signing that contract with Vivant!

This company is very deceitful

This company is very deceitful. They cause and allow harmful things to happen to their customers. Do not believe ANYTHING they say, keep all records and notes. Double and triple check all documents. They told me I was getting a line of credit and that they only offer their clients lines of credit. 6 business days after my installation I got a credit alert for a Maxed out retail credit card that knocked my credit scores down by 46 point on one bureau and 52 points on the other. Spoke with numerous reps and got the same answers no we only provide a line of credit. Even did a 3 way call with the creditor FORTIVA that also told them that, all of the Vivint client get this card and membership to FORTIVA. That can only be used at FORTIVA. I never asked for a retail membership credit card, nor was I informed this was how the finance would work. I was specifically told I was getting a line of credit. There is absolutely no truth in these people.

Hands down the worst customer service…

Hands down the worst customer service we have ever encountered. Had them come out to install water sensors. They did everything but install what they were called out here for. Never installed the water sensors. Followed by Five phone calls later and a csr who refused to get her supervisor on the phone. We finally got a supervisor who argued that he could not do a thing and it was basically too bad. Oh, and we got double charged. Not a good company.

% days without an alarm with the bill paid

Our company did not pay the vivant bill that was set up on auto-pay. So, when they turned it off, I called. I paid the required fee and then they said it would be 5 business days to turn back on?!! Think about that for a moment, You're a company with a large stock that now has to wait for 5 business days to get your alarm turned back on. They say it's out of their control. Ummmm Do they run the company or does someone else?

This company is very dishonest

This company is very dishonest. The sales rep will tell you that they have no contracts and you can end the service at any time. He will also provide a half page paper stating that you can end the service at any time. However you will be stuck with a 60 month contract and dual companies calling you for payment all in South America somewhere. Avoid the salesman Ernesto Porto!

This is the worst company

This is the worst company. Unorganized and pitiful. Good luck figuring out payments, credit loans, etc…they just aren’t good. It’s difficult to articulate, but suffice it to say I’m on the phone with the credit loan people and vivant weekly because of stupid back end mistakes. You’re better off elsewhere. Could not give it 0 stars which is unfortunate.

Do not buy!

Absolute worst customer service. Whenever I have a problem with my system, which is often, the customer service is incompetent. They lack the ability and willingness to help. One woman could not even hear me because her dog was barking so loud in the background.

We have had vivant 4 years and three…

We have had vivant 4 years and three months of a living nightmare. About 6 months ago, our alarm at the house went off in the middle of the night. The sound went off in our hose, but did not connect to Virant remotely or to the police station as it should have. We spent 30 minutes trying to reach them. When we reached them and asked how it was possible that the alarm was triggered but the agent did not come online and the police were not called, they blamed COVID and then proceeded to let us know we could pay to have a technician upgrade our equipment in a month.

terrible company

product is ok but the customer service is unbelievably bad, I have messaged and e mailed, they have seen them and they refuse/just don't answer. All I am asking is the size of the o rings they use in a vape.. not rocket science . SO DO NOTVAPES BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Do not get involved with Vivant

Do not get involved with Vivant. They are a company with no integrity. They rave about a Mormon owner who must have no morals. The customer service is the worst and you will be on the phone for hours, and then they will hang up on you. Salesmen will lie and say anything to get you to sign the contract. Then you will never hear from them. Worst company I have seen

made appointment and they no showed me. tried to call and got hung up on and endlessly transferred. finally got a manger and was told, "sorry anything else I can help you with?" avoid this company. they dont care about you.
