We are sorry and we recognize that your experience on Viadurini has not been positive.
We have deeply discussed this with you and with your lawyer and we are even more sorry that regardless of everything, you have decided to try to compromise our image with this review.
In the first place, the couriers should not damage the parcels we entrust them, but sometimes it happens and we cannot control it.
Unfortunately, the item you have purchased did not have the characteristics to be shipped with the transport companies specialized in furniture delivery, but only with the express couriers.
Viadurini has sent you specific instructions regarding how to move forward in case of damaged goods as soon as the order has been shipped and you also asked further clarifications to the Custom Care on Whatsapp about it.
On both occasions, it was underlined that any damage on the box had to be reported on the waybill, before the courier goes away.
We specifically wrote that you have to refuse the parcel if the courier does not allow you to report a visible anomaly on the waybill.
Your mother did not do it and we are sorry, because we understand that she acted in good faith, but you told us that she was not informed about the procedure. It was your duty to inform her.
She signed the document for acceptance (it is not true that she wasn't given a document to sign at all) and she did not report the anomaly with the signature.
The insurance policy has been invalidated by not following the procedure.
Regardless of this, we have immediately told you that we would have covered the greatest part of the costs to replace the whole table and only asked you to pay € 200 that has been further reduced to € 130.
You only had to refuse the parcel or report the torn box on the waybill to get the totally free replacement.
In absence of this, as reported on the instructions, Viadurini cannot guarantee a free replacement.
Nonetheless, in the end, besides our offers that you have refused and in order to meet you halfway we have agreed on refunding you of a specific amount instead of replacing the table, as requested by you.
