I dealt with Jess from start to finish, I never felt pressured or neglected. Everything I asked I had answered. I left with my new car feeling very satisfied and happy with my purchase.
This is the second time I have used a Vertu franchise and on both occasions I can not fault the service.

Mini booked in for MOT at Vertu motors
Mini booked in for MOT at Vertu motors, Boldon, Sunderland. Spoke to staff member - discussed service and informed me it was due so this would be carried out also. I pay monthly for a service pack. Due to an issue with the car and a part was required I had to bring the car back a few days later. Returned with car, was told after 4hrs of it being in dealership that there was an issue with completing mot, waited another hour before being offered courtesy car. I had my 2 small children with me. Returned later that day to collect me car.
Following day started car and warning sign for service due, oil change and vehicle check was on dashboard. Rang Vertu mini, explained, was told I would receive phone call back. No phone call received after 3 days. Rang back, explained again. Spoke to the male staff member who I dealt with initially and asked if he could confirm car had been serviced as agreed and discussed. Informed he’d look into it and ring me back that afternoon. I did not receive a return phone call. I rang back 2 days later, no explanation given as to why I hadn’t received return phone calls. Female staff member checked system and my car had not been serviced as agreed. Now having to return to branch to get set service which is a huge inconvenience due to work commitments, 2 children back to school and single parent also.
Disappointed that it had not been done as agreed initially but more by the un professionalism in not returning phone calls as promised several times. I expect better as this is a big company, I pay for a service pack and the chasing up I have had to do to get answers is unacceptable.

It is disappointing to learn that your MINI was not serviced as discussed, and that you had to repeatedly chase for updates without receiving the promised return calls. I fully appreciate how difficult this must have been, particularly with work commitments, caring for two young children, and having to make an additional visit to the dealership.
Please accept my sincere apologies that we did not provide the level of service and communication that either you or I would expect. This is certainly not the experience we aim to deliver.

You have sold me a car with 3 advisory’s on the mot for steering and suspension faults. I’m a disabled driver and I have my 3 grand children in the car at times I’m not happy with this especially as you are a main dealer. I have never bought a car that has come with advisory’s on the mot. I will be contacting Watchdog about this.

The advisories on your MOT whilst related to suspension and steering did not render your car unsafe (it would have failed) Some of the older vehicles that we sell under our none manufacturer approved program will have bushes etc that are wearing but are still completely functional and have not failed. On a vehicle of around 10 years old we would not change these unless they failed.
