Scam and fraud. Contacts’s my bank, won’t cancel my account taken money I didn’t authorise. Vile vile people behind this.
Rogue company. I wish there was something less than 1 star. The CEO is a big scammer. I pray and hope that the FBI will get involved and help us get back our money and put that scammer in jail for a long time.
They blocked my account without reason. I emailed them but without response.
On my account they say :
"Your account is under restrictions. We have decided to temporarily suspend withdrawals from your account. For more information, pleast contact support."
I try to contact them but i Got no response.

Specifically, on 28 February my account was blocked from your side despite having produced evidence of a collaboration with a Romanian company for which I do software assistance and market research for the construction of residential photovoltaic systems.
Some wire transfers that I had received after the date of the blocking of the account, and specifically on March 8, were sent back to the senders and consequently, in addition to the damage, even the insult.
Today 5 August, more than 5 months have passed, you still haven't returned the active balance of my account equal to € 649.53 despite having sent you more than 60 emails explaining every time all my reasons while from you always the same answer: WAIT.
Now I ask you within 5 days of receiving this msg to arrange a bank transfer to another my current account in my name, because I absolutely need to have my funds available, I can't wait any longer.
Furthermore, on your site and on the App, you have declared the closure of the bank for September 13, inviting all customers to withdraw or transfer their funds, therefore I do not understand your attitude towards me, I am honestly surprised.

I was using Verse as a payment method for my clients in the 🔞 industry. As I heard that they will stop their service, I was shocked! Fortunately i found an alternative "platform" which helps me now processing my payments! The platform is called maloum

It is with sadness that I see you closing down.
Removed my balance with no problems.
Had to open an account in your competition.
Hard to understand you not being sustainable. I tend to believe it has more to do with Jack Dorsey’s European strategy.

I received an email from verse.me saying that Verse is going to close on 13th September... How come??? How come such a wonderful financial company with such an excellent customer service and support is going to close???

Of course it's not a surprise neither for me nor for any verse customers (most of them reported here) who have to deal with them particularly those with "minor" issues like account blocked (ok, ironic mode on, again) and have to wait "just a few" (several) weeks to get the problem solved.
Update to Verse's newest response: I did not receive the email. For transparency, can you please share the content of that email in your response?

Update to Verse's response: Wish I could change to 0 stars for Verse gaslighting their users into believing they sent an email informing of policy changes. Last email I received from tthem was in May '22 about security tips. Stop using deceit and start taking accountability.

I downloaded the app years ago when it first launched to give it a chance. After only a few of my friends used it (they preferred the ease of Bizum) I had totally forgotten about it. To my surprise, they were quietly charging a monthly inactivity fee. I have never once experienced this bizarre practice of charging users an inactivity fee because their team can’t seem to motivate their users to engage with the app or acquire new users. Absolute failure on their part. It was only when I received an email that Verse was shutting down that I realized I still had money in the app and they have been delightfully and sneakily deducting their monthly inactivity fee from my balance. I can’t help but speculate that they are resorting to unethical practices to recover some their losses by taking advantage of their customers before they permanently shut down. It’s a shame that their parent company Square is allowing this to happen. What could’ve been a respectable app is now one that will go down in history amongst some of the worst out there.

for 7 months now, I have had my account blocked with 1,600 euros on my balance. no one answers me by email, when I call their number, a robot always answers.
this is a fraudulent company, I do not advise anyone to work with them
