Resent a returned item without inspection?
This was my first purchase from the shop. I was happy to be able to buy the ceiling light I wanted at a good price. However, it appears that a product previously returned by another customer was resent to me without any inspection.
When I received the parcel, the seal on the box had already been cut, and the contents inside were in a mess rather than properly packed. I have just moved, so I currently have no ceiling light at all. So I was ready to keep it if it worked properly, but the screw that should fix the cable length does not tighten.
The shipping box I received was much larger than the product and already quite battered, so I had to throw it away. When I returned the item, I therefore had to buy a new box for 5.2 euros myself. I was also quite surprised that the product was shipped in such an oversized box with so much empty space, especially for a business of your size, and it felt like the product could easily be damaged in transit. Even allowing for the fact that I was in a hurry, the overall process has felt rather slow, although I do appreciate that your individual replies have been quick.
