Worst experience I have had with a moving company. I was quoted $1200.00 by United Express Moving and Storage (UMS) who contracted Front line to “pack and ship” my storage unit of construction tool and some personal effects. After they packed it up and put it on their truck, they called me and said it would be $2400.00. I said no put it back, they said they would not put it back until I paid them $400.00 for their trouble. Realizing I’ld been “had”, I acquiesced to the $2400.00. Then they delayed shipping my belonging. Picked up on 16Jan24 and delivered 08Mar24. When delivered, the first thing I noticed was that EVERY SINGLE box was CRUSHED. (see picture of example). Then as the unloading progress I noticed significant items missing, commercial airless paint sprayer, relatively new power washer, new Bosch router with plunger in hard case, all my shovels, rakes, sledgehammers, picks and assort trowels, brooms, antique Arabian type swords worth over $3000.00 I got in Afghanistan. No one spoke English communicated through iPhone translator. He would not give me a copy the itemized list of what they said they pickup and after repeated attempts by email, text and phone calls to this day have not received said manifest. At this point they will not respond to any of my attempts to reach them. They told me to contact their insurance. Insurance has been stalling and will not commit to value of items. They want to pay pennies on the weight of items. In English they may pay $75.00 for over $6000.00+ for lost or damaged. UMS to date has taken NO RESPONSIBILITY. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

They thoroughly padded all the walls, staircase and even laid down mats to protect our hardwood flooring. They were also cautious while moving around our bulky furniture and made sure not to drop anything. They were trustworthy and did a magnificent job!

I had some very fragile marble pieces that the movers moved to my apartment. They had them thoroughly draped in two layers of thick cloth as well as a plastic covering. Fortunately, they arrived intact! An abundance of gratitude for the movers!

This company is terrible! DO NOT USE!! I saw okay reviews online but when I dug more after this, I saw a more accurate description like my experience. I saw it on here the Better Business Bureau.
I was quoted for 430 cubic square feet of space for my items. When the movers showed up they said that it was too much and said that if I wanted everything moved I would have to pay $3000 more then what I was quoted. I was very detailed in how big everything was and how much I had.
When I tried to call Carl (the one who has been in contact with me this whole time) didn't answer the phone-i tried multiple times. Then I tried the next person, Ryan, I was working with and, surprise, he also didn't answer. I has another person call me because Carl told her too. She was more helpful but still tried to up sale the service but $4000 more then what I was originally quoted.
The driver was rude, condensending, and downright awful to work with. Tried to collect more than what was due and tried to tell us that it was our fault for not understanding. Found out later that this driver has done this before! And the company has had issues with him doing this to other people before this too!
Then they told us that instead of having it delivered within 1 to 2 days like we were told. It was now going to be up to 21 business days.
I wasn't able to get anything refunded so I had to make due and send them with 6 boxes and a few pieces of my bedroom set. Which to me, seems not alot of stuff to fill 430 cubic square feet.
This company is filled with liers who will say anything to get you to book with them.

I hired United Express to move my deceased in laws possessions. I had the pleasure of working with Jerry. We were quoted 1268 cubic feet which came to $7,438.26. We couldn’t reserve the service elevator so there was an additional charge of $75 on pickup because we had 2 flights of stairs but I expected that due to the elevator not being available. The service I received was spectacular. My wife couldn’t be happier, no damages and they kept their word the entire time. I’ve read so many horror stories about movers but these guys are by far the best choice. Honest, kind, helpful I could go on and on. Happy wife happy life am I right?? Thanks again Jerry and all of the United Staff.

These guys straight up took 1.5k from me. They require a massive deposit and give you 3 days to cancel I tried to cancel at 73 hour mark said I missed it by an hour refused to give any thing back. After 30 minutes offered to give me 700. What a pile crap this company is. Look at the BBB they are littered with bad reviews. Straight up criminals

After receiving a few quotes, I got in contact with Ryan at United Express. He was very personable and detailed and took his time to go through everything rather then trying to get me to pay a deposit after 5 minutes like every other company. Ryan was also able to walk me through adding additional insurance to my move which no other company went over with me. My original quote was 642 cubic feet. I did get rid of a few items and also added some furniture items I couldn’t sell and it almost balanced out. I ended with 742 cubic feet and was charged the additional $115 for my extra space which was reasonable. The delivery took 5 days (Utah to North Carolina) and was just as smooth as the pickup. I highly recommend United Express Moving and Storage for your next move!

Every single person was so kind and helpful, (It was my first time moving), and made the move so much easier. Their quote was binding and did not change at all. The guys who packed up my stuff were a delight! My delivery took 5 days and everything arrived just as it was on the pickup end. I couldn’t get the elevator reserved so I did have to pay $75 for the 2nd flight of stairs but it was understandable and they honestly deserved it! There was no way I was getting it up myself, HA! These guys are 5 stars across the board! Thanks United Express!

LAIRS AND COWARDS! Run away from this company as fast as you can!
I contacted this company to move our belongings from Rhode Island to Florida. They gave me a good price and sent me an “estimate”. I learned that they are not the actual movers but contract the work to moving companies. I contacted them again and told them about my concern that since they are not the actual movers, if there arose any issues that I might be left in the cold, stuck between a company that had our money and the company that had our belongings. I received a call from Jim who assured me that this would not happen and that they would be with us every step of the way to guarantee that things went smoothly. I then spoke with Bill “the ex-Marine” (what a joke) to determine what size truck they would need. I made very clear that we had a storage unit 10 x 25, and another at 10 x 10 so they would need a truck that could take a total of 10 x 35 to fit all our belongings. Bill said they could fit everything into a 10x 25 because the storage units were not filled to the very top and that extra space would not be needed. I informed him that we had 4 large leather chairs and a leather couch that were BRAND NEW and we didn’t want any items stacked on top of them because it would result in depressions on the leather that would ruin them and I was happy to pay the extra space for a 10 x 35 to ensure our expensive new furniture arrived undamaged. Bill kept insisting they could do that and repeatedly said he was a professional and knew how to do his job – that my concerns were unfounded, and he personally guaranteed NO ITEMS would be placed on top of our leather furniture. Also, I said we needed our stuff picked up on a Monday and delivered on Friday. He agreed to everything, sent the “estimate” once again and we paid over $3000 to them. The movers arrived on Monday with a 25’ truck. I was shocked and when I told the movers that the truck was too small to fit our belongings without stacking items on our leather furnishings, they said they’d do their best and when the loaded most of our bins and boxes first, it became apparent they would not be able to fit everything without stacking and said they could bring a second truck but that I would have to pay for a second truck to move our items and that was going to cost a few thousand more dollars. So, I called United Express and spoke with Brittany. I told her the issue and requested to speak with Jim, but the coward would not even come to the phone! I asked to speak with Bill White (“Mr Marine” what a shameful joke he is) but he too is a COWARD and would not take my call. Instead, they let poor Britney repeat to me over and over there was nothing they would do, and our agreement was only an “estimate”. Since we had already paid and they had our money there was nothing we could do. The movers loaded our fine new furniture and packed a lot of items on top of it. THEN they tell us they would not be able to deliver on Friday as Bill promised and they would let us know what day they could deliver. I asked why they would not just drive our belongings straight to Florida because the truck was packed to the very ceiling so it wasn’t like they could get more items from elsewhere to add to their trip. I spoke with the boss at the moving company (the men who loaded the truck were great guys who worked hard) and he told me they would “do their best”. So my wife and I left on Monday and drove to Florida to wait for the movers. On Friday I hadn’t received a call saying what time would arrive, so I called, and they still had no answer and said they’d get back to me. Well, they arrived NINE DAYS late. We sat and slept on the floor for over a week wearing only the 4 days of clothes we left with because we had nothing. Finally, they arrived and unpacked our furnishings. As I feared, the chairs and couch have impressions on the arms, back, and cushions from the items stacked on them. Thousands of dollars of furniture were ruined. These people at UNITED EXPRESS are LIARS AND COWARDS. Run as fast as you can to another company.

The moving crew was also very professional and efficient, and they delivered my belongings from Il to Ut quickly and safely.

Recently moved from CT-SC and was very impressed with united exspress moving and storage .Brandon was very informative and answered all questions I had .the movers were prompt ,friendly and took there time loading and unloading our items . They moved us out on thursday and delivered on sunday ( I was very happy only having to wait a few days ) nothing arrived broken . they really went above and beyond for us . I would definitely use them again next time I move

I was contacted by Jim to go over my quote for my move from San Diego, CA to Vero Beach, FL. Jim was very detailed throughout the process, he walked through my home with me and calculated 1,278 Cubic Feet with a price tag of $7,324.36. I had them assist with packing from my garage as well. I had 5 quotes all together and after going down the check list Jim provided me, not 1 other company was fully transparent regarding additional fees like Jim was. The crew arrived 9:30am and immediately got to work. They were very kind and careful while packing and wrapping our most prized belongings. The delivery took 5 days and was just as seamless as the pickup. The guys put everything back together and unpacked for us. NOT 1 DAMAGED ITEM. By far the best moving experience I’ve ever had. United Express is the best there is.
