THIS MAGA COMPANY SUCKS THEY MAKE…
THIS MAGA COMPANY SUCKS THEY MAKE YOU WAIT THEN STOP COVERING MEDS THEY SUCK
In the YEARS I have been with United…
In the YEARS I have been with United healthcare I have been able to buy vitamins, mucus relief medicine, feminine hygiene items...
I just got off the phone with them asking why when I have a balance I was still charged and it showed I have a zero balance when they themselves told me what my balance is.
The woman said those items are no longer covered in OTC benefits and they change periodically WITHOUT notice. So you could be checking out like I was and have to pay for things that last month and months and years before were covered.
That, in my opinion, is bad business. If they want to change that's their perogative but with no warning? That sucks
For many years I have had a Medicare…
For many years I have had a Medicare part D plan and while paying premiums, they have not paid one sent. They changed one necessary to monthly and made it more difficult to get. Yesterday I found out that they are not renewing me for 2026, might have canceled me for nonpayment after cashing my premiums, and we're ambiguous about finding my account. They left me crying. Shareholders should be wary as why would a company turn away a relatively healthy person who costs them no money
Don't waste your time using their "Rewards"
My company just (literally today) switched to a level funded plan. The plan is identical to the old plan in terms of coverage, etc. I had been participating the UHC rewards program and was waiting until the end to cash out so I could earn the maximum benefit. I logged in today to cash out and my rewards are gone on day one of the new plan. They screwed me out of $237. No, it’s not a ton of money but UHC tries to encourage people to buy a tracker (Fitbit, Apple Watch, etc) to track steps and sleep. It also encourages people to get flu shots, covid shot and all kinds of other things which help them save money on claims by covered individuals being healthier.
I chatted with a rep online who was of no help and told me that their rep who handled the renewal told the employer about this. I assured her that as the benefit manager for my company who handled the entire renewal on our side and participates in the rewards program, I would have not waited the one extra day to cash out.
It’s also odd that they can cancel out the rewards program earnings, but leave everything else from “last year” in place. All of my claims and spending are based off the plan that just ended. Deductible amounts, out of pocket, everything. Funny that they can cancel a benefit but not manage to reset the spending on day one.
I guess what everyone has been saying about UHC is true. They will do anything to get out of paying anything. Even just $237!!
This company is the worst
This company is the worst, they refuse to cover a weightloss medication needed badly. My doctor submitted all the paperwork for the appeal only to have it denied for lack of information I will be looking for another insurance company soon
RUNAROUND, RUNAROUND
United healthcare has the runaround technique to an art. MULTIPLE calls, filing a claim( hard work), not hearing back from them, calling back and being told they LOST the claim. Refiling the claim, not being notified, call, call call and after a 30 minute call, told that the provider was out of network. WHY weren’t we told that on the front end?? Runaround, runaround. It’s no wonder they have a high net worth. They just DENY most of the claims. I’m passing this along to everyone I can.
Inhumane in 2026
For 2026, you have to have a qualifying health problem to continue using your Medicare OTC benefits for healthy food. This is not United’s fault. But what they do about it IS their fault. There is a complicated 3-step process involving phone calls and doctor’s contact info and a verification letter. I can do all this. But what about the people 1. Who don’t know about this and/or 2. can’t do this? Medicare is for old people. I think most old people can’t navigate this. I no longer like United. Should I change? Maybe yes. What they are doing is inhumane.
I thought this company was good but…
I thought this company was good but going down everyday! They take away some benefits and expect you to deal with it. Alot of their so called coverage isn't worth having UHC!!!
United Health Care is a total disaster
As a business owner and consumer, United Health Care is the absolute worst company for customer service, problem solving and communication I've ever dealt with in 40 years. Their systems don't work, they deny necessary claims for months on end and can't even be consistent on renewals. This company needs to be put out of business. Hopefully, Trump and the Republicans can create a health care system which basically eliminates them entirely. The stock has appropriately lost billions in value.
United Healthcare is absolute garbage…
United Healthcare is absolute garbage as a consumer. They will deny any benefit they have offered you until you fight tooth and nail for it. Itis the exact example of why the USA pays too much for health care. It puts the onus of actually getting compensated for health care on the end consumer, who is not an expert in the details of the legalize of claims.
It refuses blatantly valid claims and needs. It is not interested in the health of its users, only its shareholders, and the benefits it receives as a corporation. It needs to die the same horrific death it has imposed on hundreds of thousands of iots subscribers.
Scam insurance rewards
Biggest SCAM!!!! Wouldn’t let me redeem my rewards then gives no warning I am losing them and they say oh not my fault. They said not our job to tell you. Nothing like a stupid insurance company scamming for thousands more. USE anyone else. They have awful coverage anyways.
Horrible outsourced customer service
Horrible outsourced customer service. Nobody knows anything, they cant transfer you to a US representative and you can barely understand them either because their accent is so thick or they just dont speak clearly. After 6 calls asking how I submit all of the documentation for medical POA for my Mother, they send me an EFT form (electronic funds transfer). Honestly, what are their hiring requirements, a pulse? unbelievable.
TERRIBLE website
TERRIBLE website. There is an issue every time I log on. It was giving me fits so I called them. Finally got a hold of a CSR, but she was having issues with the site too. Sometimes I can't even log in.
WORST DESIGNED WEBSITE ON THE INTERNET
WORST DESIGNED WEBSITE ON THE INTERNET. ARDUOUS AT BEST. TOO MUCH DATA SO THE PROCESS TAKES FOREVER TO MOVE THROUGH AND GET TO WHERE YOU WANT TO GO if you're luck that is.....OTC IS A JOKE SINCE THEY NEVER LET YOU KNOW UNTIL CHECKOUT WHEN PRODUCTS ARE OUT OF STOCK.....WORST PAYMENTS ON CLAIMS AND MOST OF THE BILLS ARE NEVER PAID VIA MEDICARE....THEY JUST EXPECT THE CLIENTS TO PAY FOR SERVICES RENDERED......IT'S A TOTAL RIP OFF FOR MEDICARE.....WE'RE LUCKY IF A BARE MINIMUM IS PAID. NO WONDER INSURANCE COMPANIES ARE SO RICH OFF THE BACKS OF PAYING CLIENT.
Worst Insurance Co EVER
The member website is USELESS
There is NO WAY to shop and pay for OTC products. The Spending Allowance is a scam
Their online forms for grievances doesn't work. Will not accept the Group Number.
Calling for assistance is futile. 1st of all given a non-English speaking person who is rude (always, not just one time) Always have been transferred to multiple departments, with NO ASSISTANCE from ANYONE.
Refusal to pay for included services
What a scam operation
Worst insurance provider
Worst insurance provider - Ucard is a joke - tried to use it to buy a fitbit ... nope -- a digital scale ... nope -- a blood pressure cuff ... nope ...
Piece of garbage - just like the company ;-(
Spent over one hour on the phone today with 6 different UHC people -- god what a f**ked up org
I will be finding a new provider!
The mileage reimbursement program…
The mileage reimbursement program through Modivcare is a nightmare of compliance by design. They have created a claims process that no client can comply with. Pre authorization trip numbers. Travel check in and out through the phone app and a signature form that has to be scanned and emailed or faxed to the claims department. Then drivers receive partial payment over several payments through a third party debit card. Trip numbers and payments cannot be accounted for because this information is withheld by design. You receive payment and you have no idea what trip you are being paid for. United Health Care should come with a warning ⚠️ Caveat Emptor.
Well can't get on the app
Well you can't get on the app on the phone to do the rewards that sucks I am going to delete the app I change my number and I call them and gave my new number and now I can't you the app they need to do away with the app I call them and they say they can't help fix the problem why are they there if they can't fix the problem they need replace with computers just like everything else is
Uhc Healthy Benefits card
Uhc Healthy Benefits card . First I have to reset my new password everytime I try to check the balance. Second I can no longer use the app because they only have our home phone number and say the info which is correctly entered cannot confirm identity to add cellphone so we can use the app in store.3rd customer support is a joke . I used to be able to log in and order from home but the app kept trying to make us pay cash extra like the card didnt have enough tocover the cost i would delete items to lower the cost and the app would add more cash to the ammount we had to pay. They have some serious issues with this service and I really feel bad for any senior citizens who try to use this garbage.
Horrible! WORST excuse for health insurance
I still can't get my prescription after a month and a half of fighting. It's the same prescription I've been on for 20 years. They don't want to pay for anything. Everything is a wild goose chase. There are no one phone call fixes it's weeks of back and forth, it's hell. This company is not even a real company, or at least they seem like they're not. Money you spend on doctor's visits doesn't count towards your deductible, I'm actually considering just not having health insurance because this is just stealing money for me every month
