I've just completed my HND with Unicourse and very happy with the overall experience. The course structure is completely flexible and allowed me to fit it in around a busy full time job. Tutor availability was good and I never had to wait more than a few days to speak with one of the team. The quality of the support was always high and really helped my understanding. The Admin and QA staff are also a pleasure to deal with and always responded quickly.
My overall experience with Unicourse was excellent, and my only regret is that they don't offer a degree course.

From beginning I was thinking that an effort someone had to make to establish such a great company. I am working as engineer already and decided to upgrade from level 3 to level 4 .I thought it will be easy because I am an engineer already :) ,but reality was different and first assignment failed ,which is called please resubmit:) .At this point I understood I have to study and I enjoyed so much ,I not only learnt electrical/electronic skills but working with different softwares my field has expanded.Course is set clear and only once I had to contact tutor during HNC and this was because didn't fully study Unicourse website properly.Highly recommend taking this course. My son is full time in UNI ,so we finished same time and I feel got more from Unicourse than he in Uni .

I discovered Unicourse after completing my Multi-skilled Engineering (Electrical) apprenticeship. Having previously studied a HNC in Electrical Engineering at a traditional college, I found the rigid deadlines and poor communication with tutors incredibly frustrating. Despite my best efforts, I wasn’t able to achieve the grades I knew I was capable of.
Unicourse has been a completely different experience. The quality of education is excellent, and the self-paced structure has allowed me to set my own deadlines and manage my time effectively. This flexibility meant I could buy and renovate my first home while continuing to work and study full-time, a feat that would have been impossible elsewhere.
Thanks to their extensive and well-designed learning resources, I achieved a Distinction in my Manufacturing Engineering HNC, even during one of the busiest periods of my life. As my career goals evolved, Unicourse supported me in adapting my studies to reflect this change, something I truly value.
I’m incredibly grateful for Unicourse and excited to start my next units in business. I can’t recommend them enough to anyone looking for a more empowering and flexible way to further their education.

I completed my combined HNC/D with Unicourse over the course of 4 years. This was set up through my employer as a sponsor which was very easy and I was studying within 2 weeks.
The study materials for each unit was very clear with worked examples and tutors on hand via email, telephone appointment, video calls etc. The optional units available for the HNC/D were wide ranging which meant I could choose the most relevant to help me with my career progression.
I enjoyed studying with Unicourse and would definitely recommend them if you're like me and like to set your own pace.
Thank you Unicourse

The staff were incredibly pleasant and supportive in every way, especially a woman named Sarah Carter. Throughout my time studying for my HND in the challenging field of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, they were always ready to assist me. If they couldn’t provide the answer directly, they would go out of their way to point me toward the right resources. Their dedication made a real difference in my experience. It’s just a shame I wasn’t able

I enrolled with UniCourse and made the mistake of paying the full £4,000 upfront. Due to personal and business pressures, I couldn’t fully engage with the course at first — but when I tried to get back on track, I was told (by one of their tutors) that assessments could be completed in any order. This turned out to be completely false. They must be done chronologically — a critical detail that wasted my efforts.
When I asked for a partial refund, having received zero practical value, I was flatly refused. Had I paid monthly, I could have cancelled. But because I paid in full, they took everything and offered nothing of substance in return.
Their terms and conditions may cover them legally, but ethically this is exploitative. In my own business, I take a small deposit and only charge the balance once the client is satisfied. That’s how a fair business operates. UniCourse, by contrast, hides behind rigid policies and delivers no accountability.
I would strongly advise others to avoid paying upfront — or better yet, avoid altogether. My experience has been nothing short of predatory, and I regret ever signing up.
EDIT (In Response to UniCourse’s Reply):
Thanks for the reply — but it completely sidesteps my main point: I was given poor onboarding advice and started the wrong unit because of unclear instructions. Saying I “could’ve submitted it later” doesn’t fix that. It’s easy to point to a buried document or say I should’ve booked a call, but I was never guided or contacted to do so. As for not submitting work — I did try to engage, but felt lost and unsupported. No one reached out in three years? That says more about your system than me. I withdrew because I lost trust in the process, not because I couldn’t handle the work. Adult learners need more than a portal and a policy. They need clear guidance and proactive support — which I didn’t receive.

Would not recommend, the tutors were awful. Not helpful whatsoever. I had a video call with Mike Lopez and he was just sat having a brew disengage and very condescending. Said if I didn’t know the answer he can’t help then just sent me links to the khan academy. Avoid

Unicourse offer a brilliant, innovative service. I've now got an HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering that would of simply been impossible at my time of life and with my busy lifestyle. The content and structure is brilliant and the tutors are on hand if you need advice with any of the units. Highly recommended if you want to gain higher qualification at any point of life, especially if you simply could not go to a conventional college.

Great online but support is limited.
Content good but used YouTube a lot to support my course.

I was wary about doing this course as it was online & had never done such a large intense course. I’d needn’t have worried as the course was easy to follow & modules easy to work through. The few times I needed help & guidance the tutors were easy to reach & gave me all the pointers I needed
