After reading all the negative reviews I was very skeptical to buy from UMG Africa. Well,I made my first purchase and had a very pleasant experience. Excellent service, super fast shipping and very fast response from UMG. I will recommend buying from UMG Africa. Thank you very much

Placed an order Jan 24, 2024. They shipped a completely different item. They requested that item to be ret'd to them with tracking & print off required return info to include in return pkg - all at my own expense. I requested a refund in several emails & by note in ret'd item. They say to give them 10 business days once item is received back & "we will have your request accommodated". Tracking verified that the item was delivered back to them Feb 16, 2024 @ 2:08pm. I gave them 3 wks & asked where my refund is. They closed my ticket request saying it was "solved". It's now Mar 16, 2024 so I guess I can kiss $52.56 goodbye!!!

I sent an email out seconds after ordering asking a question. (November 23, 2023) I finally received an answer today (February 28, 2024) saying product was delivered December 7th. Well it was not, and I have no idea where they delivered my Christmas gift to, and I am sure I will never hear from them again!

Placed a pre-order on an album in May 2023 with it's marked release being July 2023. July came and went. I eventually made contact with them asking where my order was on December 2023. I heard back from them in January with a generic "sorry we haven't received a shipment yet" message.
I can now purchase this exact album/varient many other places both new and second hand as of today (27/02/24). Suffice to say they're lying through their teeth and couldn't care less. Please, if you value your money and want to actually receive what you pay for, DON'T purchase anything from these scammers.

Bought something expensive for Christmas when it was in stock, never showed up, customer service didn’t get back to me, then two months later I’m asking again and they’re saying it “got lost” and then a month later they’re saying whoops we don’t got it after I contact them AGAIN. The only option shouldn’t be a refund. This was supposed to be my big Christmas present for someone, and they ruined it, thanks guys!

18 months between order and potential shipping date. There seems to be something rotten with this company - ordered the Sam Fender live album after the concert in June 2023 and just been told that it won't be released until December 2024 - I expect a load of people would have moved by then or forgotten about it. no justification at all in allowing you to make an order and pay without minimising the production time, other than I guess so they can bank the money for as long as possible - I will be keeping well away from this company in future.

Ordered 2 The Who shirts around the holidays. Paid and got nothing. No notice out of stock, sorry we're a bunch of screw ups, nothing! Even left a message on their online phone number, nothing. STAY AWAY!

I bought 4 shirts in mid-November.
They've been stringing me along ever since saying an item is out of stock.
Have to wait at least 2 weeks to get any reply from them at all. And they threaten to not email them more than once.
Still can't get them to ship anything.
Total scammers.

Still have not received my order from the beginning of December (The Who merchandise). Like everyone else here, my emails have been dodged and the ship date has been continuously pushed. Twice now I have been promised shipment in the next few days and a UPS tracking number was created about two weeks ago (UPS has no record of it in their system). Do not purchase from this company.

Edit: I have now received my order, but am leaving my rating as-is due to the lack of communication throughout the process and overall poor experience.

Never buy from this website they are a scam. I ordered an item 2 weeks ago being told my item will com in Jan 28 and every day since then it keeps pushing the shipment day back. I emailed customer service a week ago and still no response worst website ever. Never buy from here.

UMG is well known for abusing copyright law which not only includes copyright striking videos with music they don't own but also striking random videos and now trying to pull songs from TikTok muting thousands of people's videos effectively rendering then unwatchable all for greed. Two words UMG Sucks.

PLEASE DO NOT USE. Bought my 12 year old daughter a Taylor Swift sweatshirt on 13th December for Christmas with next day delivery and here we are 29th January with still no item and no valid explanation and constant reminders that they are actually breaking trading laws by not supplying said item seem to go unnoticed. Happy to take your money but nothing else. No wonder Taylor is on the way to being a billionaire if this is how her record company do business

One word….HORRIBLE!!!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I ordered a shirt from my favorite band before Christmas for a gift to my husband. I got it before Christmas but it was the wrong shirt. Ok, I thought, mistakes happen so I emailed to get it fixed. The only responses I’ve gotten are “we’re sorry we’re busy and will get to your inquiry soon” to the most recent “your inquiry has been passed on to a manger”. But I still don’t get anything fixed. This company is simply criminal!!!! I feel bad for the bands because it reflects negatively on them. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!

I would give them a negative it it existed. Ordered a birthday gift on 1/1/2024. The email notification implied that the purchase is not confirmed until the item is available. On 1/4 I got confirmation and funds withdrawn from my PayPal account. On a weekly basis when I followed up I get a very friendly professional sounding but bogus response that it will be sent shortly. Finally on 1/15 I asked for a refund. Then I get another FAKE UPS ticket number showing that item will be picked up shortly. On their webpage the so called delivery date went from 1/7 to 18 to 19.. you get the picture. Finally showed up on 1/24 and the item is crappy quality. I had to have my neighbor pick up the item since I am by now away on a trip. Had to replace my niece's birthday gift as well. NEVER AGAIN. I will definitely read TRUST PILOT in future before making a purchase. And PayPal is terrible at getting a refund as well. :-( Next time I will use good old trusty AMEX instead.

I had thought, as I found myself dealing with this company, that it was simply inept without a shred of customer service functionality. I have come to conclude that it is a criminal operation.

Do NOT, under any circumstances, engage with this company.

Ordered a Morgan Wallen shirt for Christmas on 11/30... the week before they said sorry it won't ship until February??? They offered a refund or to wait. I requested a refund. Received it today 1/23. From this company. Had no idea they were handling these sales. 1 star for no product. 2 stars because I actually got a refund unlike some of the other reviews on here.
