No problems, amazing purchase

I purchased an SUV here last Sunday and experienced standout service from the moment I arrived, thanks to Mohammed. He went out of his way to make the test drive completely stress-free and answered every single question with genuine care. I strongly recommend asking for Mohammed if you are planning to test drive or buy a car here—he made the entire process completely seamless. The car was prepped in immaculate condition, and I felt they were genuinely committed to making their customers satisfied with their purchase.

It has only been a couple of days so far, so I cannot speak to their after-sales service yet, but I will be sure to update this review if anything comes up. Right now, everything has been amazing!

The sales process was seamless. The after-sales experience was anything but

I initially left a five star review and was happy with the service at the time. However, following everything that has since unfolded, I feel obliged to update this review to reflect my true experience.

The sales process was seamless. The after-sales experience was anything but.

I purchased this car in December and it was only after I had signed the contract and driven away from the dealership that the problems began to surface. The headlights were throwing up constant warning errors, the indicators were non-functional making the car not road legal, and the low beams were severely distorted. I raised this on the very first day and expected it to be dealt with promptly.

What followed was months of chasing. Multiple calls, messages and trips back to the dealership just to get a response. Each time I had to push to get any movement at all. Worth noting the dealership is over an hour away each way, so every visit came at a cost of time and petrol that I should never have had to spend in the first place. Eventually, after persistent pressure, they sourced a replacement headlight unit. A non-OEM part sourced from AliExpress. It did not work. More time wasted. More chasing. More visits.

By March the car was still non-compliant and would not have passed an MOT. With no resolution in sight I had no choice but to arrange the repair myself. I paid £1,100 out of pocket for a proper OEM replacement to fix a fault that existed from the day I collected the car. We had an agreement that I would be reimbursed. When that fell through I even offered to accept half just to resolve it. They could not honour even that. I received £350. As for the extended warranty I was sold, it has proven completely useless and offered no protection whatsoever when I actually needed it.

To make matters worse, it was only after signing and driving away that I also discovered the car had multiple undisclosed MOT failures with the underlying issues completely unresolved at the point of sale. There was also undeclared accident damage and prior repair work that was never mentioned at any point during the buying process. Information I had every right to know before signing anything.

Mo was helpful during the purchase and the process felt straightforward. But that service completely disappears the moment you drive away. Their commitments are not worth the breath they are spoken with.

Get an independent inspection before you buy. Get everything in writing. And do not let them sell you a warranty.

There is a reason that this company…

There is a reason that this company does not claim their trust pilot reviews page. I really wish I saw those reviews before buying a car here. UKwheels Ltd are not trust worthy people at all and one of their sales reps Jordan was very dubious to make sure he got the sale. He assured me of a “discount” off the cash price when I pointed out issues with the car as goodwill but then changed the goal post after the sale. He also referred me to their in house alloys guy and spoke to him on my behalf and told me to pay the alloys guy a certain amount and the company would take care of the rest. This then changed when the alloys guy came to my home and demanded the full price which I then had to pay. Jordan then tried to say he told me to pay the full amount since he gave me a “discount” on the car. This was NOT what was agreed at all. There was also most definitely racist undertones in this alloys guys that works with them by the crap he was hauling at me and my husband. He was also shouting and swearing at us. I raised the issues with their management and there was no apology, proper understanding or actual accountability. Just pure patronising and trying to palm me off. They just tried to make me seem delusional when I know what Jordan had agreed with me. Nice one guys. The principal matters more than the money for me. You need to have integrity especially when customers are spending so much money. You’re better off going for the main car dealers rather than these smaller randoms as this one in particular is dubious clearly. Car was also filthy and there was a car wash next door so they made them wash it. I had to get a car wash again same day as the windows were still filthy as well as some parts inside. There was also a stone chip they didn’t give a toss about fixing either that I’ve now just paid for.

Avoid this company!

Avoid this company!! They are extremely unprofessional. Bad reviews bad customer service. They take your money demand a deposit to secure a car, test drive and viewing. Lie about doing invoice paperwork and taking a car off of their stock room and stop other customers buying the car. It's still on their website. Shocking. Despite it being a refundable deposit they refuse to refund you your refundable deposit. Avoid at all costs!

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP WITH THE PLAGUE
Proceed looking at a car as close as to buying it.
Then after requesting the registration for insurance and checks. Was given a number plate after checking DVLA said the plate wasnt valid and should not by the vehicle.
Then went back to the dealership and asked and they then apologised for giving the wrong number plate apparently they wasnt aware that it had a private number plate. Yet when being at the dealership all information appeared on the system.
Very dishonest
Seeking legal action against them for refusing to give the deposit back.

Absolutely dishonest and misleading…

Absolutely dishonest and misleading service avoid this garage. Read Consumer Rights Act 2015!

From the very beginning, my husband and I were repeatedly told that the car was in excellent condition with no issues whatsoever. We visited twice, and each time your employee strongly insisted that the car was perfect and that the price was fully justified based on its condition.

We even asked for a discount before purchasing, but you refused, clearly stating that the car was worth the full asking price due to its “excellent condition.” Based on these assurances, we trusted your word.

On the day of purchase, you rushed us to make payment and complete the paperwork before allowing a proper test drive, using the excuse that the car was being washed. Even then, you continued to confirm that there was no damage. The HPI check showed no category, which made your claims seem believable.

However, immediately after the purchase, it became clear that the car had issues that had been deliberately hidden, including signs of repainting and prior damage. We also noticed that every time we had previously come to view the car, you claimed it was “not ready,” which now clearly appears to have been an attempt to conceal these problems.

You also stated that a standard service had been completed, which turned out to be untrue.

During the test drive, your employee initially tried to drive the car himself and avoid giving us a proper opportunity to inspect it. Only after we insisted did my husband get to drive it, which is highly suspicious behaviour.

When we realised the true condition of the car, we were extremely offended. Let me be clear: it is your responsibility as a dealer to sell a vehicle that is genuine and accurately described. It is not the customer’s job to uncover hidden damage. We are not car dealers, and we relied on your honesty which, in this case, was completely lacking.

You cannot simply mislead customers by repeatedly claiming a car is in “excellent condition” when it clearly has undisclosed issues.

At this point, we seriously question the integrity of this entire sale, including whether other details, such as mileage, are accurate.

This is not just poor service this is deliberate deception.

Regarding your response to our Google review: claiming that we only raised concerns because we asked for a discount is completely false. Please do not attempt to mislead others. We discovered that the car had been damaged and repainted after purchase which indicates that this information was deliberately hidden. At the time of payment, we were unaware of these issues because you actively concealed them.

You were aware of the condition of the vehicle and chose not to disclose it. When we raised the issue and requested to return the car, you ignored us. This demonstrates not only dishonest conduct but also a complete lack of customer service.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a car sold by a dealer must be:
• As described
• Of satisfactory quality
• Fit for purpose

We therefore have a legal right to reject the vehicle within 30 days, as it was clearly misrepresented.

We will be reporting this matter on Trustpilot, Google, and to the relevant UK authorities. We strongly warn others not to trust this garage.

Serious Warning: Seller Misled About Vehicle Condition

Serious Warning: Seller Misled About Vehicle Condition

We purchased a vehicle from this seller who explicitly claimed it was in perfect condition and had never been in an accident. After the purchase, we discovered the car had been in an accident, which was not disclosed anywhere.

When we requested a refund or compensation, the seller completely ignored us and denied responsibility. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also deceptive and potentially illegal.

We take this matter seriously and request that the seller contact us immediately to resolve this issue. Otherwise, we will have no choice but to take legal action and share our experience with other potential buyers.
