I went on darrens 9 day course on the 30th april for 9 days and was blown away by everything you learn. from day 1 you will know you have made the right choice. Starts of at an amazing rate and you dont think you will be able to do it but you can if you just listen and ask if your not sure of something. I can assure you darren will teach you how to tile to a very high standard.in 9 days. Just look at the other testemonials. I have been selfemployed since i was 16 and i am now 55 and have been retired since i sold my metal recycling business.got tired of that and wanted to start another venture and tiling seemed the right choice. If i had used darrens skills when i was 16 i would be a billionare by now. At the moment getting my facebook website etc sorted out and will be trading in another 2 weeks not in a hurry but you will be. Will leave an update in 3 to 4 weeks time so that anyone who wants to can see how it works real time .Save yourself money and time by going to the right people to get you started without a doubt.I cant thank darren and of course tracey for their help and inspiring me again. This place is the best you can find..i worked in dead end jobs but had to move on.i have done plumbing for a year and a half and thought tiling could be something i can work with..knowing their are training places out their and not worth your money...i spoke to tracy and she explained everything to me about the course and what i will achieve from.it ..tracy was helpful and nice..darren is a star..he will tell you everything you need and trust me i learned it all from how to start and how to succeed with my work.. the training centre you will learn everything from tiling to trimmings..its an intensive course but worth every penny...my friend darren has put strength in me to fight my fear on working by myself..i am confident now and when i succeed i will see darren and tracy again to thank them in person..thankyou very much and god bless..

Coming from a back ground of not even having any experience in DIY let alone Tiling, this was going to be a big learning kerb for me. i was looking for a change in career from medical to this, so a big change.
As soon as i made contact with pro tiling i was introduced to Tracy, who'm was friendly, warming and very helpful though out.
I did my course in the first week in January (three weeks in total) and it was cold to the point of snow and ice. this kept me on my toes.
From the first day we were laying tiles and over the three weeks, through loads of obstacle to complete. On top of that Darren went through deeply all the different types of materials E.G Adhesive/stone that you'll come across, and one great tool how to measure, and quickly.
I live in Brighton on the south coast and so had to get digs up there which Darren and Tracy provided. These where very clean, well kept and at a reasonable price which is where i made some good and great friends. We are all still in contact with each other to talk about jobs and problems that arise. Darren also is more that happy for you to contact him if you have difficulties with a job.
Please don't think you will learn every nook and cranny in the two/three week...YOU WON'T.
If you've never been in the business like me and your on your first job and all alone, it's a bit frighting...But Darren will say to you "there's nothing to fear but fear its self"... I'm only an infant in this jobs but am beginning to find my feet and all the jobs I've completed, I've got great feed back.

Having recently done the 9 day tiling and natural stone course, I can honestly say I have been amazed by the whole experience. I was a little sceptical at first having seen a great website with no bad reviews what so ever. Is this possible? I have to say with Darren's experience, knowledge and clear delivery the course was amazing. I too can give no less than a 5 star rating. I am now tiling full time and work is seeming easy to get following Darren's advise. You will also recieve a welcoming and professional service from Darren's wife Tracy. Together they make a great business, partnership and atmosphere. I highly recommend this course. Thankyou Darren & Tracey for a great week.

From the first day the training was intensive and very hands on with a quick demo then off to try for myself with Darren in the background overseeing any problems.
With Darren's instruction and guidance my confidence went sky high after only one day.
The course was also focusedon how to set up your own tiling business and how to find work.
I was also shown trade secrets and ways to make it simpler to measure rooms and apply tiles to different surfaces, As well as the difference in the adhesives used.
If you are serious about starting your own tiling business I would recomend uk pro tiling as Darren and Tracey offer after course support that no other training centre provide.

I was looking for a career change and starting my own business, after looking on the internet I found UK PRO TILING but being over 400 miles away I was not sure, so after Darren contacted me and we discussed all the aspects of the course I felt at ease and realised what was on offer you could not get in any other training centre around.
The first week was intensive as there was a lot to take on board and the days flew by.
With Darren's training techniques I remembered everything that was taught and also my confidence was built up by the end of the first day!.
All the way through my course Tracey and Darren were very supportive and helped with my confidence, and once the course is finished they are at the end of the phone/email if I have any problems which no other training centre offers.
I can't thank Darren and Tracey enough for all they have helped me with as they have not only helped me but created a better future for my family.

A very informative, professional course. Darren and Tracy make students feel completely at ease and have put together a really impressive course. At first I was amazed at the distance people were willing to travel in order to attend, however I now completely understand why they chose this course, it is that good.
It is highly informative, extremely thorough, has top instruction and offers advice and support after completion. There is a lot of practical work involved which helped increase my confidence in my ability to tackle future tiling projects.
I'm glad I signed up to the 9-day course and met some great people from lots of different backgrounds.

I decided to do a tiling course as I am a plumber and it would mean I can do full bathroom installs as well as tiling so I started to look around on the Internet for courses near me and there was a few I looked into as well as UK Pro Tiling and even though I knew I'd have to stay over to train at UK Pro Tiling I decided to call them and spoke to Tracey who went through the course with me as well as listened to the things I had to say and she made it sound really good and didn't push for my business. I had a few weeks to think about where I was going to go and do the tiling course and after reading reviews of the companies close to me the more I thought about it the more I was drawn here even more so after reading there reviews. When I noticed that someone close to where I live had been here too I decided to go and stay over in Hartlepool and do the 5day course. I am really happy with my time at UK Pro Tiling. Darren was brilliant at teaching and getting things across in a way everyone could understand also Tracey was great at keeping the coffees coming and both Darren and Tracey was great at making everyone feel relaxed. I would like to thank Darren and Tracey for all they have given me to take away. Thank you so much it's really appreciated.

When I left the Military and had to start a new career, tiling was the area that I wanted to try and establish myself in. I booked my course whilst Darren and Tracey operated out of South Shields and I had a fantastic experience for the 3 weeks that I stayed with them.

From start to finish the professionalism given to you by Darren was much much more than I had expected and everything we did was methodical, easy to understand and we went along at a pace where everything was understood before we moved on.

What was very surprising to me at the end of my course was not only the depth that we went into with the tiling but the understanding given to us on the business aspect of how to establish yourself as a self employed tiler was extremely valuable.

I have recently just went back to Darren and Tracy (now at Hartlepool) and sat with them for a morning refresher and as usual they were both fantastic with me and have given me even more desire to set up my own business.

Thank you both for the great experience that I have had and I look forward to the future as a tiler, which is all down to the excellent treatment I have received from Darren and Tracey.

I was looking for a good tiling course and came across UK PRO TILING so rang Tracey for information on dates etc and she was so helpful and polite. Being 5 hrs away I wanted to make sure I was making the right decision, and was not disappointed. Darren was filling everyday with as much as he could with very clear instruction and having short breaks so you get as many hours as you can out of the day. I fully recommend if you do the 4 day course to add the 1 day course on natural stone and business information , it's pricess. Just completed the uk pro tiling training 9 day tiling course and I have not been disappointed in the slightest every day has been a challenge but an enjoyable one.
I have gone from never doing any DIY to being able to produce high quality work that paying customers would be very happy with and it is all down to (Darren) the instructor and his years of experience and teaching methods in my opinion this course is second to non and I couldn't recommend this course enough. I did the 5 day course at the beginning of the year.I looked about for a while and did a bit research into each courses available came across Darren's and after I spoke to Tracey I bought his course.Can honestly say money well spent.
The course comes at you fast information overload at time but some how you take it in Darren's knowledge is second to none.The course moves along fast and with in couple of hours your setting out a bathroom and fitting tiles by the Thursday you've completed a bathroom with a centre piece.The business side of it is essential to learn and Darren gives a brilliant insight into how to find work where to look and how to conect with people.
Over all this course is everything you need if you looking to get into tiling as a living or even if your just looking for and extra skills for your self.
You will not be disappointed

The knowledge alone on this course is worth the money , excellent all round

After deciding I couldn't do my old job anymore I decided to have a change in career and do something I enjoyed, so I decided to to a tiling course.
If you don't like hard fast paced work then this may not be the course for you, if however you don't mind then I couldn't recommend this course enough.
Right from the first phone call with Tracey, I knew I had made the right choice.
Darren was very informative with everything he taught, and if you got it wrong or didn't understand that was fine.
The course is very fast paced and the days go over so quick that you never realise it's dinner time.
So if you're thinking of doing what I have done, this is definitely the right course to be on

I did the 9 day course last week. Darren is brilliant at telling you what you need to know and telling you im a quick and effective way. I had never picked a trowel up in my life or laid a tile. I got home from the course friday and started a kitchen job monday and have another kitchen job Thursday as well as having more planned for the next week or two. The business side of the job is really important and Darren's advice is really good. His wife Tracey is lovely too keeps the tea coming and has a genuine care about how you are doing and your future. I am really glad I chose this course above others which were more expensive and longer. We had a guy in our course who had attended another one of these courses and he said he learned more with Darren in two days than he did in three weeks in his last course. Honestly cannot reccomend this course enough.

I am so glad I went on this course, I was in Hartlepool for the full 13 days, After completing the course I am 100% confident to tackle any situation thrown at me. The relationship doesn't end after your course finishes if you need advice or help with something Darren is on the other end of the phone or email, now who else offers that after they have your money and actually means it? Darren and Tracey are very approachable and will make you feel at ease, if you are away from home they can help with finding suitable accommodation for you. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 weeks tuition and have now gone self employed!

After extensive research in to which tiling course I would attend, I was pleasantly surprised to find that UK Pro-Tiling were in a transition to relocate from South Shields to Hartlepool. For my circumstances this was ideal, and very convenient making my decision much easier. I would like to point out that distance from my home location was not an issue and as most of the courses I have attended during my working life has been conducted away from home.

After attending the 9 day Pro-Tiling Course I was extremely impressed with the final outcome. The knowledge gained not only in theory, but most importantly in practical aptitude in such a short time is nothing short of miraculous.

I am always wary of the authenticity to testimonials, however I can after attending the course concur that they are true and correct.

I cannot praise Darren and Tracey enough, to how the course is run from start to finish. I will bullet point my main thoughts.

• The course is enjoyable and highly informative, practically and in theory.
• I believe after looking into other courses that customers could not gain the amount of practical work and the high standard achieved after the course anywhere else in the UK.
• Darren and Tracey are very approachable and accommodating. Once the course is finished you have the added reassurance that you can contact them personally for any situation you may be unsure off.
• I have never tiled before and was astounded at the level achievable during this course
• Whether you are planning a carrier change or you wish to conduct your own private projects, this course will facilitate any situation.
• Please read the other testimonials they are accurate
• For those who may be hesitant to travel to attend this course. I would strongly recommend you invest the extra money required for travel and digs.

My only criticism would be that the pencils and sharpeners provided could be better lol.
