Expensive, but so far fairly average experience
I purchased a TEMPUR Pro® SmartCool mattress (king size) for £2,399, ordered on 18/02/2026 and invoiced on 17/03/2026.
For a purchase at this price point, I expected a much more premium overall experience.
Communication was very limited after placing the order. Aside from the initial confirmation and a message on 02/03/2026 from the logistics company stating I would be contacted within 7 working days, there was very little proactive communication.
Between placing the order and receiving further updates, there was a noticeable period of uncertainty where I had no clear idea what stage the order was at.
Given the amount of money involved, this lack of visibility wasn’t particularly reassuring and left me questioning whether everything was progressing as expected. For a purchase of this value, clearer updates would make a big difference.
The delivery process has also been inconvenient. With limited delivery windows (e.g. 13:00–15:00 on weekdays), it’s not practical for those working standard hours.
On top of that, not having a clear or confirmed delivery date early on makes it difficult to plan ahead, meaning time off work has to be taken with very little certainty.
I was also sent a review/questionnaire request before delivery had even been arranged, which felt premature given the known lead times.
As for the mattress itself, it’s still early days. There was a noticeable smell initially (which I expected), and it does need airing out for a few days. The mattress is also currently firmer than expected for a “soft” model, although TEMPUR do advise that it requires a break-in period with regular use.
At this stage, it’s hard to justify the price based on the overall experience so far. Nothing has been particularly poor, but equally nothing feels exceptional either, which is what you would expect at this level.
I’ll continue using it and see how it develops over time, but right now it feels like a lot of money for a fairly average experience.

Tempur pillowcase for my firm pillow
Love the pillowcase for my firm pillow as nice and cool.
Only issue is the price as 55.00 for just a pillowcase is rather extortionate really and maybe the price should be around the 30.00 mark.
