Very fast delivery
Very fast delivery, I liked the added note with tips to build the model. The product was packaged very securely, however the box didn't need to be that big. I'd always order from there again

Great product.
I got the gran prix car today and started assembly this evening. I can honestly say its the first of many models I will be purchasing. Its fun, taxing and therapeutic. Great product. Prompt delivery and the extra candle and sandpaper is a nice touch. Reasonably priced too. 6 stars.

The build is difficult , I built the Grand Prix car. The task was exacerbated by the very fragile nature of the parts. A simple slip when removing parts from the boards they are in could cause them to crack or break altogether. A broken or damaged part by manufacturers own admission could take weeks to replace.The instructions need more detailed steps and clearer photos.
I also believe that a better form of lubricant, than candle wax, should be supplied or indeed recommended.
I used Baby Oil applied with cotton buds.
A small abrasive file instead of sand paper should also be recommended to enable the parts to be more easily sanded especially in tight hard to reach areas of specific parts.
All that said it was a real challenge, and having overcome the many obstacles , not of my making or modeling skills , it turned out OK. I give this model 2 stars with some improvement it could have easily been a 3/4 star kit.

Thanks for your time to leave a review, Barry. We are sorry you found the build difficult. Normally if you follow the instructions precisely, no problem should occur. The key is using a lot of lubrication: waxing the parts with the provided candle before assembly is the best solution. We do not recommend using any type of oil on our models, because as the wood absorbs it, it expands, which can affect the future functionality of the construction. We do have a free replacement part policy and we strive to ship the parts from a local warehouse, however it is not always possible and then we order them from the manufacturer, so it can take up to several weeks. We are glad your design turned out OK in the end.

Recently built the Hurdy Gurdy. What a beautiful kit. I have been a model builder for many years and for accuracy and fit of parts this is the best kit I have ever constructed. I can even play a few tunes on it.
