South Lakeland, FL shop Five Stars
I have used the South Lakeland, Fl based uBreakiFix shop twice to help me with a cellphone issue and was not charged. They were pleasant, knowledgeable, and helped resolve the cellphone problem quickly. I am so glad they have a location easy for me to get to and they are there for me to turn to when I have these tech problems. Thank you so much!

Brought my phone in for a battery replacement and they burned it up. Tech apologized for the accident but when I asked for the name of their insurance company they refused. When i asked for the name of the manager or owner they refused. Store located in Eatontown New Jersey.

Phone screen was cracked so I took my phone there and they fixed it. But two days later I had to get an entire new phone because of all the stuff they messed up on the inside when they replaced the screen.

Told them the back screen needed to be replaced but the replaced the front. The front screen wasn’t broken at all. Do Not recommend
Don't go here they lost my console and then gave me back a piece of junk
Awful experience brought in a Xbox series X with minor water damage (I did all the important steps to take after water damage like leaving it off for a 24 hour period). They then proceeded to take it for two weeks with no contact and sent me an email thanking me for my visit. Got on customer support to ask if they still had it which they said yes and it was ready to be picked up. Came in 5 days later and they told me they couldn't find it and to contact them later that day. Called them later that day and was told they handed it off to someone else and to wait from a call from them to find out how we proceed. Finally after another week get told they have another Xbox Series X that I can pick up that might work. Pick it up the next day and its completely trashed and looks like it was thrown off a building. You can feel and see all the parts on the inside rolling around, the side panels are way bent out of shape, the bottom plate is completely missing and the area around the disc drive is melted, it obviously doesn't even work either. So disappointed with the service, at the very least I could've sold the other one for parts but this one is complete junk.
I dont recommend ever going here this was a nightmare

Honest and efficient and great prices too for service.
Thanks so much to Josh and Cody.
total scam
total scam. had delivered 2 phones for repair by DHL. 3 weeks have gone by...no progress. Impossible to get them by phone. Their home office is equally non-responsive.
Avoid at all costs!!
Santa Maria CA
Santa Maria CA, manager Ray
Long story short:
Extremely volatile, unprofessional and dishonest manager
1. They rarely answer their phone
So we had to travel 40 miles RT on multiple occasions just to find out what was going on.
2. Took laptop in for the convenience of a new battery as original battery only held charge for a couple of hours.
3. Told to bring laptop to store so they could order correct battery.
4. Received call that battery was in. Dropped off laptop and told it would be a one day job. We were warned that screen could crack on removal and would be additional cost. We accepted that risk.
5. 6/29-7/18 After multiple unanswered calls and trips to the store, told old battery was bent while removing, new battery won't work. Because I took it in functioning, I asked the manager to send it to the manufacturer for repair. After a very heated argument he agreed to forward my written request to the owner.
Now we will see if it's just him or the entire organization that's the problem
Do not ever use Ubreak Ifix
Do not ever use Ubreak Ifix. They give you a warranty and do not stand behind it. I got my Samsung Fold fixed in November last year due to the original screen breaking at the fold. They have a 12 month warranty. I also had dropped it breaking the back glass. Their Fold replacement screen made it until July. Then cracked at the fold. I went to have it replaced and They say because you can see it was dropped they will not warranty their screen. Yes it a as dropped and that was why I paid $220 for the rear glass on top of the cost of the inner screen too. THE INNER SCREEN BROKE AT THE FOLD AND YOU WON'T STAND BEHIND IT. YOU WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN. I WILL ALSO DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO KEEP PEOPLE FROM USING YOUR BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!
Incompetent Repair Service
After calling the local uBreakiFix store in our region to discuss a problem, I took in my machine for repair. I work over 60-hours a week, so even a weekend jaunt is VERY expensive time-wise for me. On getting to the Marion, IL store, only one employee was managing the space. It took him over half an hour (!) to deal with the single customer in front of me. Meanwhile, my only day off is melting away and I still have tons of errands to run.
Once it was my turn, the employee checked me in with, "This is a simple repair." He promised the store would call me in under a week when the job was done. About a week later, I was called back to pick up my machine. When I got there, they informed me that because my machine is "older" (meaning over 2-3 years!), they wouldn't repair it as there's too great a liability risk for damaging it. WHAT? What kind of repair center can't repair a common electronic device just because it didn't come off the assembly line last year?
Worst of all, the staff is rude and curt. They don't even make eye-contact with you. You feel like THEY are doing YOU a favor by allowing you to drive to their store to give them money to ... do the job they advertise. Or in my case, NOT do their job.
I wasted two Saturdays taking a common small electronic device in for service only to wait in line for more than 30-minutes EACH TIME just to hear, at the end, that they lack the technical competence to actually do the repair they assured me on the phone they could do.
Today, I'm looking for a repair service for my common laptop brand. Their page came up first (uBreakiFix). Once I recognized their brand and the local store, I immediately canceled my repair job. Poor customer service + demonstrable incompetence = no business.
Had to bring back 3 times
I went in June 5, 2023 for a screen that blanked out. They said they have to replace both front and back covers for $367. I asked why the back cover, she said samsung makes us. I picked up phone that day. Next day the screen started going black again. Half the screen, sometimes the whole screen would just black out. Had to take it back and the guy told me a new owner took over and he's ordering cheap parts. Left it for another 7 hours to be fixed. Picked up that day, the next day I find when I go to take a phone call, the screen isn't going dark when I put my ear over the phone so all the numbers on the screen are being pushed by my ear on every call. Then I find out that the volume key doesn't work either. Take it back, yet again, a different guy says yeah the parts are cheap. Had to leave it for another 8 hrs. This is 3 days now for almost 22 hrs wo my phone. Picked up later that day. A month later I barely - BARELY dropped my phone and I have the best Otterbox case on it and the screen cracks! Small hairline cracks. Every couple days the crack grows and its breaking somewhere else on the screen. I call the store and tell the guy who answers... the cheap parts you're using - they s#ck bc now my screen has cracked from the slightest bump. I told him in the 4 yrs I've had the phone the original screen NEVER broke from worse. I said what are you going to do to replace this. He said...the parts are right from Samsung (which was bulls##t bc he was 1 of the ones who told me the parts were cheap when I kept having to bring it back). He said I can give you 10% off a new screen. And I said, the back too? He said, no we don't have to replace the back.
This is now 2 lies the store was caught in now. I said 10%? You need to replace this for free. He didn't say anything. I told him I'm going to place negative reviews EVERYWHERE I can and hung up. I wouldn't let them touch my phone again after all this bs! I am livid!
This place s#cks! They are liars as well. Find a better place for your devices and your hard earned money.
DO NOT USE
DO NOT USE! They push their Asurion + insurance only to find out that most things are not covered. Not to mention I was never told about a 30 day wait period for your plan to to start. BEWARE of the fine print!
Xbox One X mailed in and no updates on status
I sent my Xbox One X in through UPS 2 weeks ago and did not hear from them. I called the first time and they said I wasn't on file through my phone number. The second time I called another lady who said I was and was going to speak to the technician and call me back that day, but didn't. I was forwarded to the same lady the next day to the location I had sent my xbox to and she said she was going to speak to the technician who was busy and would call me back in 10 minutes and never did.
The worst experience ever
The worst experience ever. Evan, the manager from the Appleton WI store is down right rude and aggressive and contradicts himself repeatedly. We escalated the situation to the escalation team and they confirmed Evan was incorrect, but Evan will still will not follow the escalation teams advice. Visiting that store is a complete waste of time. He should not be working there. He seems to be angry with life and his goal is to upset people. There were multiple customers in the store upset with him and he hid in the backroom.

Damaged my display while replacing the battery
ubreakiFix damaged my display while replacing the battery. They refused to correct their mistake saying I had no proof that they damaged it. They inspected my phone before doing the repair. I had to enter my password for them to look at it while I was in the store. They knew that everything was good beforehand. They could look at their store cameras and see this. They said they could repair the display (that they damaged), but I would have to pay the full price for them to repair it. What a scam. I do not recommend working with such a dishonest establishment. I received a follow-up survey with only a thumbs up or thumbs down link regarding my experience. I clicked on the thumbs down link and got a message indicating I had clicked on an invalid link. Very suspicious if you ask me. The thumbs up link probably works just fine. If you ever decide to work with uBreakiFix beware and take precautions. Take video and photos of your phone condition and operation before you give the phone to uBreakiFix. You will need that proof it they make a mistake.
I brought in my phone to get my screen…
I brought in my phone to get my screen fixed. When I went to pick it up and the Face ID no longer worked and my ear piece was broken. They told us we had to pay $285 to get the screen fixed yet they broke it more. Then to get what they had
broken fixed it was an extra $150. We decided it would be better to get my old screen put on and not pay the $285. When I went to pick up the phone with the old screen it had green lines all over the screen (they weren’t on there when I brought it in.)
Not for Samsung products…
Samsung created a ticket number and referred me to the Gaithersburg store on Quince Orchard Rd, to get my Galaxy Z Flip4 phone repaired. They did not want to accept the job and honor the Samsung Warranty Program, except that I paid them directly (not Samsung).
Beware
I was quoted $259.99 to repair my phone screen so I told them to go ahead and repair it. When I went to pick it up I was told it would be $298.99. The associate told me they made a mistake. They called the boss and he was unwilling to make it right. He said my choices were to pay the higher price or put my old screen back on. I do not recommend doing business here. This type of service is dishonest and wrong. Purchase number S21606027
Do NOT go here
Dropped my phone, a White band appeared across the screen and I could not see anything. Nothing wrong with the screen, just would not come on. Suggested to use this place by Google because I just bought the phone 3 months prior. I arrive at the store, the guy comes out of the back room doing up his pants and his belt. Clearly I was interrupting something. I told him that Google had sent me there because it was still under warranty. He takes a phone and he clamps down on it so hard that he cracks the screen. Then tells me that because it's physical damage it is not under warranty and that I would have to pay $275 plus tax. That I arrived with a phone that had a cracked screen. I now have to pay $300 to get my phone repaired that was broken basically by one of Google's technicians. Stay away from this place, at all costs.
