Great credit experience. Even when I ended up closing my account they chased me to return my positive closing balance. Recommended to anyone starting off their credit journey.

As many others have mentioned, Tymit decided to cancel my card and close my account without notifying me. There was no justification behind the decision and I never missed a payment, made use of the card frequently.

I would avoid this card, I am one of many it seems despite always managing my account correctly and having no other issues with the 3 other credit cards I operate and my overal credit rating tymit decided with out notice that my card would be suspended and my account closed after my balance was paid. There is no reasonable explanation given for this. When advertised this card was described as the new kind of credit card well it seems to be the card that cancelled on you after 18 months of use.

Worst credit card company I've ever dealt with. Shockingly bad customer service and shouldn't really be in business. Cancelled my credit card and limit without notice saying I was a risk, notwithstanding the fact I pay my balance off in full each month and have never missed a payment. I checked with various credit reference agencies, and there have been no soft or hard searches, confirming that Tymit made the whole 'you're a bad customer' nonsense up. Avoid these cowboys. ***EDIT: Company has tried to remove this review. Please don't believe the sincerity of the company response.

I have had a Tymit card for some 3 years. I was suspicious when they introduced a monthly fee for using their card when many cards give us rewards for using their card. I have been treated for cancer 3 times a week for the last 9 months and today, without any prior notice, I received an email advising me that my card had been cancelled due to non use over 6 months. Considering this conduct and looking at other reviews I think this is a credit card upon which you cannot rely and to be be avoided.
UPDATE
I contacted Tymit and they could not have been more helpful and understanding. They immediately reinstated my card. If anyone else is having a similar problem, contact them and, if your account has been managed properly, there is every chance they will reconsider their decision.

I'm very disappointed as Tymit have decided to cancel my card and will be closing my account once this is paid off.
I have been a good customer and always paid my monthly installments ahead of time, I have an excellent credit history, never missing payments on any of my accounts, they have offered me a 12 month 0% repayment plan which is something I suppose.
I can only assume Tymit are having some difficulties.

Had my account for over a year. Never late, never near my credit limit for more than a few days.
Always thought it was a good card. I bought into their marketing that they were different and treated customers better.
Wow was I wrong.
I got an email saying my account was terminated.
No reason, no explanation. I complained and got a series of AI generated responses quoting various industry terms. My credit rating had in that period increased, along with my credit limits with other cards increasing.
I originally got the card when my credit rating was almost non-existent.
Their reasons were utter nonsense - they just weren’t making money because I kept paying off my balance.
I’m not actually that concerned about not having the card, it’s more the lies, deception and complete nonsense spouted by their CS team once the first round of bot-generated responses were challenged. They have nothing but contempt for their customers.

Used to be a good card however about 6 months or so ago, they contacted me and told me my services were being suspended and I had to arrange to “pay down” my balance, despite only using 11% of my available balance with a great credit score, I’m a homeowner, I work in finance myself, never defaulted anything and all loans and credit cards are up to date. Their explanation was rubbish and would never use again. Now that I’ve found out they are charging £6 per month just to have the card, it’s clear they are having financial difficulties themselves. Laughable

This is the best credit card I have used that let you plan expenses, especially if unplanned. And they customer services is the best I have come across to so far.

Used to be a great card, then they wanted £7 a month to keep my account open,so closed it as there are a lot better cards out there than paying to have an account

If I could give 0 I would. Took my card out originally to build my credit rating a bit. Had the card about 2 years never once missed or was late with a payment and am also up to date with all my other credit commitments but Tymit has decided to suspend my account which is no great loss to.me as I don't use the card which I suspect is probably really why they have suspended the account but when questioned got a standard response they have basically decided I am no longer a good risk which is very odd when my credit rate is good and I haven't missed or late with any payments. I am offended by the whole thing but if this is how they treat regular paying customers I'm happy not to be associated with this company and the ridiculous interest rates. Avoid avoid avoid

It used to be amazing and then they stopped the 3months interest free and they start charging monthly

5iught i would get help when I went through ugh fraud, as I had unauthorised transactions for months I have been ignored and they are taking away my human rights by not giving me their final word so I can go to the ombudsman and my £600 gone and closed my account with no warning after my complaints. I was assured 5is time someone would look at my complaint it’s been about 3 months now. Avoid like the plague seriously. 5e close accounts and run off with your money saying it’s a balance transfer and it’s paid off your bills you had when I was already paying £48 a month to pay them off. I saved long and hard for my £600. Now I want to complain to the ombudsman but they won’t give me my final word so I can go. They said they wrote a letter to me about my account closure but they most certainly didn’t. Lots of my hard earned money gone. I told them my hard circumstances which I’m going through in life and no compassion either.once they sent 4 tymit cards in the post. No no avoid. I’m also going to be looking into what I can do to reach someone higher than them. I won’t let this drop. Anyone I can save from this bank too I certainly will.

Tymit used to be a great provider, but they recently changed their fee structure and are now charging 6.99£ monthly (84 £ p.a.) for the card. This makes the card non competitive to other offers to my mind, despite of having had a reasonable credit limit and no overseas transaction fees there and having nice reminders about upcoming payments.
Overall, there was a slow decline in card features. First they removed the option of paying back over 3 month without interest being charged and cut it back to the usual 1 month interest free repayment. While having no "non-Sterling" transaction fees can still be useful for some people, there are other specialist cards offering this for free and I found 1 which gave me a higher limit and a free bonus program.

Used to be good but have slowly increased interest rates, removing interest free pay back options and now charge a monthly fee and are actively trying to lose customers as they started up at a bad time for the market.

I had a Tymit account, I noticed a lot of comment about late payments from other client say they had paid and that tymit hadn't updated there system, which I found odd so I stopped using it then out of the blue, they cancelled my account which now will put a bad mark on my credit report HEED MY REVIEW
