Please be cautious with TurboScribe’s unlimited plan. I subscribed for a single month but was enrolled in monthly auto-renewal at $20/month, without clear confirmation on the checkout page.

TurboScribe did not send me any email notification, invoice, or receipt for 11 consecutive months, during which a total of $220 was charged to my card. According to their own backend logs, my premium usage during this period was zero; any activity was within the limits of the public free tier.

After discovering these charges, I requested a refund, but the founder, Leif, declined and even restricted my access. Based on my experience, the company’s billing practices lack sufficient transparency, especially for inactive users.

Turboscribe is very powerful and reliable tool which has been really useful for my day-to-day activites. Even though I feed in mobile recordings which is not so clear with some external disturbances, the tool seamlessly transcribe it with no/minimal errors. Thanks for the development team for creating this app.

As a small Dutch publisher and editor of old theological works, I use TurboScribe. The language dates back to the 18th century. I read it aloud, and TurboScribe converts it to text. It’s amazing how accurate it is, even for someone with a Frisian accent. However, certain words are consistently misspelled or misinterpreted. I use the search-and-replace function in TurboScribe to correct them.
I highly recommend this product!

This is a wonderful product – easy to use and perfect audio to text output. I found them when I was in need of an easy to use, inexpensive transcription service for a deadline project. I spent the next hour comparing products, came across TurboScribe and found it the best of the bunch - plus I could use it immediately because you can do 3 FREE transcriptions a day! If you are a heavier user they have a very inexpensive paid level with almost unlimited usage in both run time and file size. I may never need that but now I know where to get it if I do!

Great product, very easy to use. The transcription was very very close to the audio recording, with a few errors mainly because of the audio signal dropout and / or audio intelligibility inherent to a VOIP link. But 5 stars none the least. Alexandre Algranti / Revista Backstage / Rio de Janeiro

This is very helpful. Providing limited though quality service for free.

I've been searching for a reliable dictation workflow for decades. As a full-time author, I've tried Dragon years ago and several newer transcription services more recently. Every one of them came with frustrations that ultimately kept me from using dictation as a serious writing tool.

Then I found TurboScribe.

What impressed me first was the combination of speed, accuracy, and simplicity. It just works. Instead of fighting the software, I can focus on writing.

The moment that completely sold me happened after I made a mistake while recording. My wireless lavalier microphone wasn't secured properly, and the audio was so choppy that I could barely understand parts of it myself. I figured the recording was probably unusable.

Out of curiosity, I ran it through Whale Mode.

I was stunned.

TurboScribe reconstructed my words with an accuracy I honestly don't think I could have matched if I had sat down and manually listened to the recording myself. It recovered ideas I assumed were lost.

For anyone trying to build a serious dictation workflow—especially writers—I can't recommend TurboScribe highly enough. It's the first transcription service that has genuinely changed the way I work.

It has been a seamless experience for my journalism pursuits. It helps save time and be more accurate in presenting the news. The Dashboard is very effective and the fact that the transcriptions are instantly emailed is quite handy. It makes TurboScribe's service consummate. Proof is the news pieces presented to my global and local audiences on US-Iran war since end of February 2026.

Today was the first time I used TurboScribe and Wow! Quick and right on. It really reduced my workload, and my Chat GPT appreciated the transcript, and took it from there. Great tool/resource to use!!!

An excellent, high quality and very effective utility to convert speech recorded in a video to text with amazing results. The best no hassle I could find on the Internet by far.

definitely a life saver. worked very well for me in many different languages.

Waste of time. They transcribe and give pdf which says pay. They took so much time just to tell me to pay. First it was advertised as free. Worst user experience.

Always comes in clutch for whatever I need to convert whether it be for work or for a song to download on Spotify it works great basically never messed up atleast in my experience with it definitely recommended for anyone downloading audio files or songs or anything you may need to convert!

Excellent, direct, fast, 3 free transcriptions with unlimited lenght unlike other apps, from a link like youtube or a file. It wasnt needed to register first, but they saved my transcriptions anyway, without having an account.
The transcriptions are accurate and with different options at no added charges.
I have tried many others a and there is no comparison.
