Fantastic house purchase experience!
Lorna at Trethowans Winchester was our conveyancer for a local house purchase - the service from Lorna and the team was absolutely top-notch.
We received quick, clear and accurate responses to every email we sent, were always kept up-to-date during a transaction that took longer than we'd hoped due to delays elsewhere, and had full confidence that everything was being handled with care and dedication. The final report was very detailed and well presented.
The overall experience was so much better than our previous house purchase experience; we will definitely be using Trethowans again, and would thoroughly recommend them!

Outstanding Support Defending a Fraudulent Claim
I had an excellent experience with Trethowans, and in particular with Kelvin Farmaner, who successfully defended a personal injury claim made against me. The claim was completely fraudulent and an obvious attempt to extort money, which was a very stressful situation to be in. Having Trethowans on my side made a huge difference.
Kelvin was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. He was extremely polite, friendly, and approachable, which immediately put me at ease. At the same time, he was highly professional and clearly very effective in his role. He explained everything clearly, kept me updated throughout the process, and handled the case with confidence and expertise.
The whole process of working with Trethowans was straightforward and easy, which was exactly what I needed during a difficult situation. I’m incredibly grateful for the outcome and for the support I received.
I would strongly recommend Trethowans, and Kelvin in particular, to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation where they need strong, reliable legal support against a fraudulent claim.

Got there in the end but much chasing…
Got there in the end but much chasing on our part was needed. Land registry lost the deeds, other party got a full refund for the extra costs involved quite easily - we were told not to bother, which in hindsight we should have.
This was a few years ago now hiwever but only just asked for a review
