Very kind and supportive stewardess . Am most grateful for their concern and care when not being unwell due to travel sickness and even after landing. I would said the sitting I booked was not given... See more

I am extremely disappointed with TravelUp’s lack of response to my complaint.
On 24 August at 4:50 pm, TravelUp advised me that I would receive a response within 72 working hours. That deadline has now passed by a significant amount of time. It has been approximately 140 working hours since their original email, yet I still have not received a proper response.
I have also sent two further follow-up emails after the promised deadline, but TravelUp has completely failed to respond.
My complaint concerns a £93 charge relating to the Economy Comfort fare I selected.
I have given TravelUp plenty of time and several opportunities to resolve these issues. I am not asking for anything unreasonable — I simply want my complaint properly investigated and a clear written response regarding the refunds.
The lack of communication is extremely disappointing. I hope TravelUp will now take responsibility for this complaint and contact me to resolve it.

The summary page should include checked baggage if it has been included. Its a bit misleading just to say cabin luggage only

I recently booked a flight through TravelUp, with the flight itself being operated by Emirates.
When making the booking, I entered the passenger’s name correctly and double-checked the details before completing the purchase. However, when the booking confirmation came through, I noticed that one of the letters in the passenger’s name was different.
At the time, I didn’t think too much of it because I logged into the Emirates app using the booking reference, and the passenger’s name appeared correctly there.
A couple of days later, I checked again and noticed that the name on the Emirates app had changed and was now showing the same misspelling as the booking confirmation.
This is extremely concerning and confusing. If the name was displayed correctly when I first accessed the booking through the Emirates app, how did it later change? I have screenshots showing the name appearing correctly when I first logged in, as well as screenshots showing the misspelling now.
I have also been communicating with TravelUp by email. A member of staff named Rhys appeared to deny responsibility for the issue and advised that the total charge for the name change would be over £200. I have screenshots of this correspondence.
However, the information provided to me appears inconsistent. TravelUp’s own website states an £75 administration fee, while documents sent to me state that the Emirates name-change fee is £25. I therefore do not understand where the additional charge of over £200 for correcting one letter has come from.
I also do not believe I should be liable for these charges, as I entered the passenger’s name correctly when making the booking. I am asking TravelUp to explain clearly how the discrepancy occurred, why the name initially appeared correctly on the Emirates app, and how the proposed fees have been calculated.
To make matters worse, I spent over two hours and 40 minutes on the phone with TravelUp today trying to get answers. I started at number 30 in the queue, eventually reached number 1 after around an hour and a half, and then remained first in the queue for approximately another hour. After waiting for over two hours, the automated system eventually disconnected the call without me receiving an answer.
I also have screenshots showing the queue position and the length of the call.
I booked in good faith, entered the correct details, and expected the passenger’s name to remain accurate throughout the booking process. The conflicting information, lack of clear communication, and difficulty getting assistance have made an already concerning situation even more frustrating.
I hope TravelUp investigates this properly, explains exactly what happened, provides a transparent breakdown of any fees, and resolves the issue without passing the cost of an error I did not make on to me.
A very disappointing experience so far. I would strongly recommend booking through the airline directly to save such headache or checking your booking confirmation and airline details carefully, even if everything initially appears correct in the airline’s app and take screenshots along the way! if not resolved I will be going through my bank with a lot of evidence.

The site isn't optimised for iphone booking. I had to book via my PC. Certain add ons ( like airline failure, or flight disruption) terms are not fully explained. For example, dealyy / ddisruption due to the Iran War won't be covered by either of these and that is not made explicit.
