Traveasy 

I booked with Traveasy because the price looked competitive, but the experience quickly became stressful and misleading.

The website put me under pressure to complete the booking with a 15-minute countdown timer, creating the impression that I would lose the ticket if I did not pay immediately. At the point of purchase, the only clear warning I saw was “0kg baggage”, which did not properly explain the full set of restrictions attached to the fare.

Only after booking was I told that the ticket was actually a highly restricted Basic Economy fare with no carry-on baggage, no advance seat selection and limited ability to add baggage or other services later. If those material restrictions had been made clear upfront, I would not have booked.

When I then asked them not to issue the ticket and to refund me, I was told I could either pay more to upgrade or cancel and be charged an administration fee of £50 per passenger. That felt unreasonable given that the problem arose because the fare restrictions were not transparently presented before purchase.

I was also sent a payment link that I was not comfortable using, which added to the concern.

Overall, the process felt pressurised, unclear and unnecessarily difficult once I tried to resolve the issue. I would strongly recommend that anyone booking with Traveasy check every fare condition in detail before paying, and if possible compare carefully with booking direct with the airline.

booked online but I was told the live price is high so pay 71 euro fare difference. I refused and asked to issue me ticket or refund. then they say there is 75 euro cancellation charges. i told them I don't wanna cancel they said then pay the difference.
so i had to pay the difference. stay away from them they let you book and then asking for extra amount.

I booked through Google flights. They went through in detail with my queries and I got really good deal from them.

My booking went well until I attempted my return flight. The company gave me an incorrect rescheduled itinerary. Even up this point they have not taken responsibility for their error. I wouldn't trust a company that cannot take responsibility for their errors and even give the customer service that is required.

This was my first time purchasing a ticket on this website, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. I received a confirmation email with itinerary details shortly after placing my order. However, the very next day, I was informed that the ticketing had failed unless I paid a substantial price difference. I firmly declined. I asked them to provide evidence for the fare increase, especially since I had refreshed the page and noticed only a minor price change. I then attempted to place a new order, but was told that duplicate purchases were not allowed. They also informed me that if I cancelled the original order, a large cancellation fee would be charged—and ironically, that fee was nearly the same amount as the alleged price difference. Throughout this process, I have wasted a great deal of time and energy, which has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.

Don’t know how to react. Had a nightmare dealing with these guys.

Booked flight tickets first time using this website it turned out to be the worst experience ever.

People at traveasy played a trick to charge extra money even after the booking was completed.

I am writing this review with regards to my booking ref TRA15240716. Traveasy went above and beyond providing me with a first class experience. Prince Singh more specifically is an asset to the agency. He was polite and courteous and provided 2nd to none customer service with some last minute emergency travel. I would not hesitate to use again and have recommended to friends and family! Thanks once again!

They'll return a call saying your flight ticket cannot be confirmed with the flight company and ask for an additional charge to get it through. When you want to cancel and get a refund a surcharge will be applied. Absolute scam. I've no way but to accept and pay an additional £20 after 20 minutes of negotiation over a phone call (it was £40 at first). Terrible experience.

Edit (22 June 2026): Thanks for the reply, however I'm quite sure I'm told that there would be a service charge applied if I chose to get a refund. I've stressed my disagreement a few times but got told that this is your company policy that a full refund would not be possible. Clearly either the customer service was unsure about your company policy or you're deceiving customer.

Their systems and customer server are horrific

I initially booked, and received confirmation of wrong amount of people, wrong dates and everything! Proper panic. Rang them, back and forth on the phone, got the correct confirmations etc eventually apart from should have been 2 adults 3 kids (maybe other way depending where adult starts) and was down as 5 adults, send them all the details, but have ended up contacting the airline myself.

I have found them extremely unhelpful. Flight is in a few weeks and went to put passport details in and still showing incorrect DoBs so have contacted airline directly again! They confirmed they sorted but stil shows wrong on TravEasy and seem to be unable to get through on the phone or get a response on mail at this point.

I'll try and remember to update once been on the flight and if any further headaches

I’ll give you some feedback. You advertise a child’s flight cost without stating that so you can get people to book and then call them to say they have to pay £80 on top to switch to an adult like it was my fault. A seat on a plane is a seat on the plane. Nice job Traveasy
