The site is above avarage. I most likely like the fact that their payment is always on time and reliable. The only problem is a tried login into my account but it can't seem to log me in.
The company needs to do a better job in showing transcribers where they have gone wrong after submitting their completed work so that beginners can become better. After submitting work and it is rated, whether rejected or accepted, the transcriber/proofreader should be able to see the final work with clear indications to where they went wrong. I think this will greatly increase the company's work quality and help their staff team grow. This especially applies to non-verbatim transcripts. The transcription format guide is unclear about which filler words to remove, and whether false starts or incomplete sentences should be edited out of non-verbatim work. All these would be incredibly helpful to know because as I said the company's rules are unclear about this and new transcribers would especially benefit from seeing how the more experienced staff members are proofreading the work these transcribers submit. I'd be quite grateful if the company were to consider this review.
Working as a transcriber at Transcription Staff has been the best so far. If you talk about the availability of jobs, easy and fast customer service, the best working environment, and weekly pay. Transcription Staff is the best platform I recommend if you're looking to advance your Transcription Experience.
Take a note though. You have to be conversant with the language in the files. Easier said than done, you have to produce the best transcripts to manage even a 4-star rating. The rating standards are so high compared to other transcription sites. Be careful when submitting your transcripts because, with low accuracy, it's as well as signing your own retirement plan. The prompt response to queries from the team makes me give them a 5-star rating. As transcribers, we are even allowed to make recommendations to the team.

I found this company at my lowest and most desperate time. I applied, did well on my assessment, and got accepted so quickly. The onboarding was easy and the support was accommodating. I got promoted to becoming a Proofreader in less than a month because of my score and work quality. The pay was consistent and fair.
I like that the policies are easy to comprehend, they provided examples for guide. I love that the company entrust me with this job, It is a great opportunity that I can work from home. I really appreciate that they have a 24/7 very nice chat support people. I like that I have the opportunity to choose a job that I can work with the accuracy and return the job if I'm having hard time transcribing.

They have a weird AI quality checker instead of human QC's. They guarantee an 80% pay if you remove at least 85% of the errors. This is not the case. The 80% pay is just a fallacy. I have 5 jobs that were rejected by the AI QC and are pending to be paid. I've paid for the Internet and used my time and effort only for a silly AI to pretend to be smarter than a human. This is the first company I've met that changes the speakers' speeches to be grammatically correct.

It's great working at Transcriptionstaff because there's always such helpful feedback with the work. If there are any errors in my work, I always receive detailed advice and encouragement on ways to improve my work. And the people behind the TranscriptionStaff were very helpful and polite to answer our questions about the instructions.
One of the best features of their service is how quick and responsive their Help Center is. This is very important as you're always on a deadline and if you have questions, you need a quick answer. And their answers are so far very informative and helpful.
I wish their QA comments would be more consistently specific though. It's great to have more detailed feedback (with examples and not just broad categories), especially if the work was rejected. This can help the transcriber be more mindful of their next work, keeping their previous error/s in mind.

This is challenging but fun work for me. The work is not easy, as I need to push the headphones into my ears sometimes. Challenging but a cool experience. I am familiar with this kind of task as I was a QA for tech calls before, but not in a very intense manner because I do more of the reporting side. Maybe you guys need to improve your dashboard. Especially the payment report. Or maybe I am not looking at the right window, but yes, the dashboard needs improvement.
There is rarity of work and also the paycheck is a bit low overall it's nice but it quite challenging

With the amount of time spent to create a good quality transcription, it would be more fulfilling and satisfying if the amount paid to transcribers become more competitive. Because compared to other transcribing company, TranscriptionStaff pays relatively lower if not one of the lowest.

Personally, I had a good experience so far. I like how the process is simple, direct, and not that complicated in almost all aspects. Moreover, they are also responsive to any concerns I have raised and they're also willing to improve any work conditions through updating the existing policies and guidelines.
