A total scam, after submitting the first file and I was I was told account terminated on the day of paymeny.
All good but this AI rejected tasks need clarity then on ratings your feedback is so poor I send proofs but no action on it. How can 1% correction be a 2 star honestly
Don't even bother. They delete everyone's accounts after a few weeks. They claim they want everyone to get 4 out of 5 stars for their work, at the very least, or they will delete your account. But it's not humanly possible to never get 3 stars for an assignment. Also because many of the transcriptions have very bad audio quality and yes, often all the speakers are talking at the same time. So you won't really figure out what they're saying. It gets very bad when it's a 40 min audio and everyone is talking at the same time. The speakers will also often use industry vocabulary you have never heard before. So you will be looking up these new words online, which will also waste your time. The clients won't bother to give you extra information about the recordings as well. They don't give background details or names. They just throw the audio at you and you have to figure out who is speaking in the audio to label the names correctly. This will take you forever as well. For a longer transcription of 30 to 40 minutes you will probably work 14 hours, especially if all the speakers are talking over each other, and you have to figure the names out. You will keep rewinding the audio to listen etc so hours and hours will go by. For a small payment of a few dollars. The instructions guide is not completed as well, it does not give examples for all cases, so of course you will make a few small errors. Which the company will punish you for. They also expect you to type non-stop, their AI is checking that you type constantly, or they will delete your account. So you can't really take any breaks. That is obviously very stressful situation as well, In their company description they say you can take breaks whenever you want. That is obviously a lie. They are very strict, mean and have a million rules. You will do everything for them and they will do nothing for you. Very evil company.
They use AI to review work done, and the AI gets it wrong, and you are to blame. Then you lose all the hard-earned money you spent time working for on that project. Waste of time! Don't trust this company.
I've been with Transcriptionstaff for quite sometime now and I can say i love the experience. Job is guaranteed, pays on time, helpful support staff incase of an issue. Just good.
This is the worst website ever. Don't waste your time and energy. You will work on a video for 7 hours every day and end up with no payment. I worked for them for 2 weeks committing myself every second. On the night of receiving payment i got an email from transcriptionstaff saying my account has been terminated, reason fraud. I tried reaching them asking what went wrong, up to date am still waiting for their reply.
Being a transcription staff member has its challenges and rewards. The job requires focus, patience, and consistency, especially when dealing with poor audio or heavy accents. At the same time, it’s a great role for developing precision and time management. With supportive management and fair timelines, the experience becomes even better. Just a humble request that they make sure every work is rated for fair rating.
If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. I’ve been working diligently as a transcriber for this platform, delivering quality work and meeting deadlines. Just the other day, my account was suddenly deleted without any notice or explanation. When I reached out to support, I was told my account was ‘not in their database’as if it never existed. Along with my account went the $30 I had already earned but had not yet been paid. This is not only unfair but deeply unprofessional. Workers deserve transparency, proper communication, and payment for the work they’ve completed. Instead, I was left frustrated, with no access to my account and no way to recover my earnings. Such practices damage trust and show a complete lack of respect for freelancers and their hard work.
After seeing their reply. This is what I have to say. That’s such an absurd conclusion. I don’t do that the IPs are clearly from my own laptops and phones. This whole thing is just weird. Kindly just make my payment.

The pay is laughably low for how long you have to sit and work (fixing AI generated captions for 4 hours only to get $3). And then after 2 weeks when you're supposed to get paid, they don't pay you. You contact them and their support is rude and condescending. Then when you provide them proof that you need payment, they ghost you.

People to know about education is very important in the human life
The company excels in delivering quality work, reliability, responsiveness, empathy, and assurance. Working with TranscriptionStaff offers career development opportunities and a structured work environment.
I'm not even mad. Kind of expected it to happen but somehow disappointed that it actually DID happen.
Anyways, people who are interested in transcription as a long term career and not in it for the money but only for the experience, then feel free to apply. But if you really do need the money, then I encourage you to please do not apply.
This is because they kind of convince you at first with the fixed rates for projects that they give you on their front page (the place where you applied) but that is IF you somehow get approved by their so called "AI Quality Checker".
So basically, imagine you spent 3 hours proof-checking a certain project. If the AI is not satisfied, you DON'T get paid and rejects your work (one of the workers that I asked for help said this exactly "the AI did not approve your work so it was rejected"), so it is kind of a win-lose scenario because you don't get paid while they get free labor while gaslighting you into thinking that your efforts were not enough and that you need to work harder.
Also, their 24/7 assistance is useless because if you try to ask them anything in relation to the work or a project assigned to you, they just give a simple yes or no or just copy paste a certain phrase from their guide book.
In the end, I am not hating, because I honestly want to help out people who are just starting out and I can tell you with a straight face that working for them is not worth your time and I bet you guys can grow somewhere better, just not here because they simply do not follow the proper work ethics and it feels like they are just getting free labor from you through a loop hole, being their so called AI.

I recently attempted the transcription test on their platform, and unfortunately, it was an extremely frustrating experience. The audio quality was shockingly poor—muffled, unclear, and barely understandable. It was difficult to even recognize whether the speaker was speaking in English or another language, let alone transcribe it accurately.
Moreover, the accent was extremely heavy and unfamiliar, and there was no context provided about the audio — like what the topic was or what kind of accent the speaker had, making it nearly impossible to comprehend. If this is meant to be a fair test of transcription skills, then it should at least offer audio that is challenging but still humanly understandable.
I understand that real-world transcription often involves difficult audio, but this felt like an unfair barrier rather than a skills test. I hope the platform reconsiders the kind of audio they use for their assessments in the future.

I recently came across TranscripStaff.com while looking for transcription job opportunities. Although I haven’t started working with them yet, the website looks professional and easy to navigate. I like how clearly they explain the application process and the services they offer. Their focus on both accuracy and confidentiality seems promising.
I'm looking forward to gaining some experience and seeing how the actual work and support system are. So far, the platform gives off a trustworthy impression.
Will update my review once I get hands-on experience!
frankly, not a high-paying job, but is good as a starting point, along with gaining work experience. ' earning through own's hard work, time, and effort, with zero capital.
Started working this April, my payments for April 6th to 11th isn’t reflecting though I have complied with credits and all, I was supposed to receive them yesterday (April 22nd) or April 21st. I emailed the HR/Support desk yesterday, they responded that my email template was wrong, So I wrote another one today, alongside with some photos that can be used as proof, with my login id as well… And now they won’t respond?
