I loved the resort and the people in Costa Rico. That saved my trip. Booking with tour hero was interesting and the person that lead our trip was a very young 34 and kept thinking she could “mother” women in their fifty’s and above. I wasn’t sent the final survey because they knew I was going to be honest about my experience and they didn’t want a bad review. I don’t trust that in and of itself and wouldn’t work with this company again. I won’t take another trip with them. Especially not with the young woman that lead the yoga retreat. Be aware.

I can’t be more satisfied with the whole trip. Everything was well organised. Trip felt very personalized. They really made my dreams about this trip come true. Great selection of activities, unbeatable itinerary, great price for the value of the trip, amazing choice of accommodation, very professional guides always going this extra mile beyond our expectations. Hats down.

Our accommodations at La Cetinelle were lovely and really made the trip for me. My only criticism of the trip was there was too much packed into two little time. Consequently, we did not get to see the gardens on the last day as we did three museums in one day I thought the trip and the driver and the hotel were all very well organized.

I recommend 11/10 Tour Hero to influencers and those in group travel experiences, first time retreat leaders and those traveling to new countries to give retreats, and experienced leaders who want to do nothing but bring your students and teach. Tourhero will take care of everything start to finish, and will work with you to take care of every request and need. It seemed too good to be true at the beginning and the level of finish on my retreat was better than i could have dreamed. If you are going for the most budget option in your location and want to do all the work yourself so be it, as of course this exceptional service is not free - but as a 10 year marketing and PR professional with years of experience in teaching yoga as well as logistics experience in yoga travel and international teacher trainings, I want Tourhero on my team as they are easy to work with and want you to succeed. Special thanks to David who jumped in after the ball was already rolling and brought it all back on the rails after someone on my side cancelled last minute. Thank you!!

Excellent location, lovely accommodations, and the Tour Hero staff was attentive and responsive.

Tour Hero was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They truly listened to my wants and needs for this retreat and made it all come together perfectly. I already have a meeting set up to plan my next retreat with them.

The support was great, the details was wrong... We end at friday instead of Saturday 11am.

The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful
With anything and the food was excellent. The excursions were fantastic and well planned. We met and enjoyed local artisanal winemakers, cheese makers and other people of the area that made the holiday so lovely.

When TourHero first reached out to me on Instagram, I thought they were a scam since there are a lot of scams out there. I've never been so happy to be WRONG in my life! Later they reached out to me again via email, and I decided to do some more research. I'm writing this review for my fellow skeptics. It seems too good to be true, but it's not! TourHero is genuinely helping small-scale entrepreneurs like myself host the international retreats of their dreams. Not only did they help me successfully plan and execute my first ever international retreat, but they also truly supported me every step of the way. They listened to my feedback, demonstrated a high level of respect for my process and my clients, and were completely ethical and honest the whole way through. Due to the high up-front cost of deposits to hold dates at retreat venues, it would not have been financially possible for me to afford to host on my own, but TourHero made it possible. For me, the fact that they handle all the financial liability by placing deposits for hosts and taking payments directly from my clients made it totally worth sharing the retreat profits with them. They NEVER asked me for a cent - I got paid for all my hard work, and got to focus on hosting while they handled the heavy lifting of logistics and administration for my retreat. Very positive experience, highly recommend, will be planning another retreat with them very soon! :)

Your hero’s retreat planning is very helpful. After creating retreats together myself, I really appreciate their attention to detail and response so I can get on to focusing on other tasks that develop my business.

The most important service Tour Hero can provide is reliable transfers from the airport on arrival and to the airport at departure. Our transfer information and service were deplorable. We were not given accurate information on how the transfer was organized among passengers and were not told where to meet. We walked back and forth between terminals at the Punta Cana airport trying to find the shuttle. The exact same problem happened with the next group because the tour company providing the transfer (Sunside Travel) used one driver to transport three separate groups. It was doomed to fail. When leaving our resort, the shuttle was an hour late and we called a cab. We were almost late for our flight. It was very stressful.

Chrissy did a great job. Though the yoga could have been more challenging. And there could have been more philosophical discussion.

The airport transfer and cabs were quite stressful and that is why I’d didnt give it four stars.

The food at the resort was absolutely fantastic.

The transport to and from the resort was badly organized with no specific directions on where to find the driver on arrival and we had to wait an hour and a half before our driver arrived. Also the transport was over an hour late arriving at the resort to take the first group back to the airport.

Tour hero was very good for information and payment options prior to the trip. The company they contracted for both airport pickup and drop off was a complete disaster. No or very little communication, inaccurate information on how to find the pickupdriver, and no identified meeting spot. The return pickup was very delayed (but kept saying the driver was a bit delayed or would be there shortly both of which were untrue) resulting in an extremely stressful situation and nearly a missed flight home.
