I would like to thank an employee of TSS at Morrisons of Basingstoke Road , Reading, Magdalena Fernandez specially.
At closing time tonight, I realised I had
left behind my bag while shopping there this afternoon. The bag had my phone and a purse with credit cards. I panicked so decided to drive to the supermarket, if someone had handed it to their lost
property. The first person we met was Magdalena. I explained to her the reason we were there, she immediately reassured me she would get someone to attend to me. She was so helpful and kind , I couldn't thank her enough. I did get back my bag and everything in it. I considered myself very lucky and very grateful to whoever handed it to the lost property and the staff of Morrisons. It just shows there are many good and honest people in this world, I am so overwhelmed!

The person who was conducting my telephone interview, did not bother to call me and now the HR telling me they won't proceed further with my application. Really strange behaviour from a company.

TSS is an awful organisation to work for. Ive witnessed more than a dozen people get bullied by a particular Spanish supervisor called Francesco and resigned (in the Wimbledon and Rowhampton championship). He swears and uses vulgar language at staff, treats people like slaves, threatens people of terminating their contracts when you disagree working outside your contracted hours. They underpay you and make you work 60-70 hours a work which is illegal in the UK!!! We are not a slave machine. He uses his girlfriend Tamara who are allies in bullying staff. Seek advice from Employment Tribunal if you experience such abuse. TSS does not even deserve 0, they should not exist. They are depressed unhappy individuals who get their frustrations out on other happy people. DO NOT WORK FOR TSS

Employ aggressive racist security guards! Don’t bother complaining to customer service as that is none existent. Their ‘investigation’ will take 1 day and without asking for your side, the only result will be the guard needed training.

Wrote a review, but deleted it, because I was frightened! I was a guard, but just simply walked out on TSS! I don't want to say too much incase i'm done! Just read what everyone says about them! Don't work for them!

Applied for a job and received email to confirm interview at Tesco, and to ask for interviewer at customer service desk. I arrived, asked and waited. He calls me on my mobile and says he is waiting in the car park so out i go looking for him. Eventually found him and he tells me to get in and start the interview. I was shocked! We had the interview in his car. He seemed like he was in a rush and didnt really talk much. After finishing he emailed me cancellatiom of my interview followed by not succesfull mails.

Wish gave 0 stars use to work for tss 2 years ago. Month later i resigned because pay is a joke, no support when dealing with shoplifters, HR never replied to my emails, poor management, no communication. Don't work for this company rather stack shelves in Lidl.

Worst company in UK i ever worked. Becouse of them from now on i hate the security job. I don't know from where to start. They are completely rude and uncomunicational they have no idea from organise the shift and the worst of all which made me to resign they didn't even pay me properly my hours. When i was calling them they were never replying. They have completely violates human rights. Stay away from this company!!!!

TSS will reel you in with their spiel, once you accept the job they don't pay you your holidays you are entitled to, they offer you work in the most random areas, if you don't 'di as they say', they refuse you work. Furthermore, when you give in your notice, TSS don't pay you your notice wage, they keep the money and ignore your requests for your wage, I know 2 peoole they have done this to and it's against the employment law. TSS needs to be taken to court by ALL employees who have been treated badly by this company.
Avoid at all costs.
Any company who employ workers through TSS ie, Boots, Smyths John Lewis etc need to look into this company or you are condoning how TSStreats employees.

Got tuped over to TSS they were good in the beginning but got even worse putting you down for shifts that are 30-50 miles radius out off the area you can't refuse the shift or they start threatening you with hours done to numerous– amount off people more interested in the client then there own staff now with a much more better security company that actually have your own interest keep away from TSS the area managers are absolute 🤡

Worst company I have ever worked for.....They treat you like sh#t. Your just a number and they dont care about you in the slightest. Phone is sick and they take the rest of the weeks hours from you. I worked for them for 3 long years and regret it every day. The site managers a joke. You might see him once in three months. Trouble with a shop lifter and or Police? Your on your own. Like Xmas and New Year? Forget it. You'll be working all over Xmas and the New Year. No car? No problem you'll be bussing it out to places like Verwood, Southampton, Ringwood etc. If you use your own car theres no cash for your petrol either. Check your wage slips because they 'make mistakes' when doing your wages. If I could give one star I would. You have been WARNED!!

Always pays on time and plenty of hours if your willing to do the work

I have worked for TSS since May 2021 and must say have enjoyed it on the whole. The area manger is a pleasant chap who visits regularly to ensure everything is going well. I look forward to this continuing and am sure I will be very happy in my employment.

I have been very impressed since joining tss. The interview process was smooth and starting work was easy. The area manager gave me plenty of support and training. Using the portal makes things easy and trouble free. Having a 24 hour control room means they are always on hand to help as well

On may 14 tss got the contract for one of the major super market, & all guard's got tupped over. I received a call from head office & was informed that I would be transferred to an Exeter store & that I would be closer to home for me. I live in Newton abbot, this was one of the reasons I left last time. After 4 months & not hearing a single thing from head office, I got an email from them saying that the company won't be keeping me on due to.
Totalsecurityservices have given me no reason,
no phone calls, no email, nothing from them.
I have called tss 6 times & I have been fobbed off by there HR department. I gave them a second chance cause I believed that the company had changed but no they have not. This was there last chance. I have trust issues, this company is one of the many reasons. I would like an answer but they would only lie to me again, like they have done before. To answer the question on why I went back to tss. Don't have a really good reason, I was told that the previous area manager had been sacked, I didn't get an apology from them for being given a dissaplinary for something's I did not do & I would be getting my £4000 in travel expenses back. The last one still has not happened. The previous area manager was an absolute bully & was a bit of. (I will not say anything else about him.)
I do not want excuses from TSS, I just want the money you bunch of lieing Bully's owe me. The very last minute change to shifts.
I turned up to my store to find out that I had been moved from my store to a different store.THIS INCLUDES THE £4000 & 41/2 MONTHS OF WORK.
If you want to work for them, then beware of all the bull sh#t, & bullying that will come your way especially when you try to have a day off, cause I was forced to work a week off that I had booked off.
I don't want to rant on about a sh#ty security company. Today 12/11/21 I received an email from total shitt show saying "your request your attendance at a consultation meeting to be held on 8th November". I didn't get an email from you about this so DON'T BS ME.

I'm currently employed by TSS and apart from the teething problems with the timegate app and not informing me that my area manager had left I can't really complain , I had an incident at work whereas I was being bullied by another guard in the company and TSS went above and beyond and sorted it out even had the pleasure of a follow up call six weeks later also now on first name terms with a lot of the staff at control who are always polite and courteous (well long term staff , the newbies can be sometimes rude) ive been with the company since July this year after spending 11 years working for the prison service and can honestly say it's a walk in the park compared ... Just be prepared if you're going to be on your feet a lot (retail guard) make sure you have a comfortable pair of boots ...and Tesco where I'm a guard for are always welcoming and always let me know which people are banned or need to be "watched" as I'm new too the store

worked for them for nearly 3 yrs got fed up very quickly as told one thing by area manager then work gets changed at short or no notice from head office . constantly phoned on days off and holiday if u can get it to work . holiday constantly declined then only let u carry over 60hrs holiday and lose rest owed even tho its only built up because they declined it . I left over one month no one will answer my calls or emails as have over £500 outstanding wages and P45 . had little to no support after being assaulted at work . while off recovering constantly bugged to carry on working even tho doctors advice was not to . do not work for them is my advice

Pay isn’t great for the dangers we face on the frontline.

holidays get declined if their short staffed will sometimes call you on your days off after a 50 hour week which I find really frustrating.
£8.94 not atall great needs to improve shouldn’t have to work double shifts to make ends meet they can pay more but won’t I haven’t received single payrise in the two years I’ve been with them considering their the biggest company in the uk you would think they would increase the hourly rate.
Control room staff can be quite rude sometimes for instance if your ill like I was once they will try their best to force you to go in if your type 1 diabetic and have an infection they don’t seem to really look out for staff welfare and safety.
New area manager is fantastic will try his best to sort any issues and is always there to stick up for his officers.
I would rate Tss 7/10 they are ok but definitely need to improve with a few things like any other company but not to bad of a company
