They are a bit slow at times to respond to support requests, and are also sometimes pretty vague with their responses, but overall I have been pretty pleased with their service.

We recently experienced a very concerning issue with our label’s catalog: several of our releases were taken down without any explanation or prior notice—not to the artists and not to the label. This lack of communication is unacceptable and creates serious problems for our workflow and release schedule.
On top of that, none of these tracks were promoted or placed on any playlists, so we’re left completely in the dark about what triggered these removals. As a label, we expect at least a basic level of transparency and accountability, especially when decisions directly affect our artists’ work and income.
Overall, this experience has been extremely disappointing, and we hope the company addresses these issues urgently to prevent this from happening to others.

authentic proof of original track is always provided but always rejected without clear reason, they took so long to respond (weeks)

Great UI,
That's where it ends really. Royalties got forced from another service due to them having a deal with the majority owner of the works to here and magically started paying out about 60% of what it was before.

Too Lost "accepts AI Music", but Needs Documentation. Earlier releases (also created with AI) was approved but last not. I've sent documentation proving that I created this track with paid Suno Pro, and Too Lost rejected this release. And after that every release is rejected with "Needs Documentation" note. So I canceled subscription and I will never come back to Too Lost. I successfully distributed these rejected releases through Soundcloud for Artists.

If you’re a serious artist this distributor is not for you. Extremely slow customer support. Songs randomly disappearing from dsps (individual stores and nothing to do with takedowns). Songs being rejected because they do not have the human nuance to detect a cultural folk song.
Worst of all the website is slow and buggy, the app does not work at all.
If you want to take down your song it will get stuck and you will have to contact customer support who will not respond.
Don’t let the facade of a feature rich distributor fool you, most tools don’t even work.

They block songs for no reason, ask you to send them documentation and don't respond, you constantly ask for feedback and they never reply. And I used to complain about the others, but these are the worst.

unresponsive. distrokid is much better for indy artists. cant sync lyrics. amongst other grievances. overall professionalism is not there. takes way too long to resolve issues and even then it may not get resolved

I wasted a lot of time posting my tracks on this distributor. I completed the whole process and didn't see anything warning me that I needed documentation. What a crazy idea! Nobody does this, or if they do, it's very rare, and nobody wants to go through the trouble of waiting several days for their verification. They ask me for documentation for everything, even instrumentals or completely unrelated styles. They ask for documentation anyway, but I didn't see any warning about it.On top of that, the support is super slow. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There are other distributors out there where you pay and save yourself the most annoying part of the process; they do the rest. This one has a reasonable price, but it causes a lot of headaches, so I prefer to pay more and have peace of mind.

I distributed over 100 tracks through TooLost and trusted them to handle my catalog. For over two years they have withheld my royalties and blocked withdrawals while citing multiple DMCA claims without ever providing claimant documentation or a legitimate legal basis. I repeatedly asked TooLost to file counter notices on my behalf; they did not. I contacted the claimants directly and provided UPCs and proof that these works are mine they never responded.
In the last incident, an unauthorized third party was able to withdraw money from my account. TooLost later returned the funds, but the withdrawal and reversal have been erased from my transaction history, which strongly suggests internal tampering or a severe security failure. After I provided TooLost with screenshots and emails proving I acted in good faith, they responded by banning my account entirely. I can no longer access my own catalog or earnings.
If nothing is done by end of the week I will use the preserved screenshots, videos, and emails, and file complaints against Toolost with the U.S. Copyright Office and the New York Attorney General’s office. I encourage any artist considering this company to think twice I was patient and cooperative for two years and received no transparency or meaningful help.
If you’re an artist: demand full documentation, and better lawyer up and sue because this company doesn’t care about you.

TOO MUCH LAYER TO DISTRIBUTE MUSIC AND TAKES FOREVER TO GET APPROVED.

After waiting 6 months I got banned account perfect at 30 of the date of the end month when royalties is about to pay at 1th next month. Without unexplained issue and take so long to reply email. They think that I am a new artist in the music industry so they want to taking over all my royalties. Estimated royalties is about $2000-5000.
If you guys ever hear my song with title What the Heeeelll or use it on yours video, how amazing was that song huh, right? Yeah right but i didn't get paid from TooLost instead they taking over all my royalties, after i'm waiting for 6 months. I have other song that I made specially for Indonesia people who love the song instrumental for mellow moments that's Instrumental Bunda, it's same they taking over all my royalties. And many many more song that I made with good engagement on the social media video and generated very much royalties.
I will keep this review here untill TooLost give a clarification for the issue I never made! Comeon man you think we are stupid people? We are Asian cannot be easily fooled by the west. Thank you.
Ahh I almost forget this one! After they banned me from access to login they still collecting royalties from my song, DANG so greedy this distribution! They not takedown all my songs intead they keep collecting royalties from my songs.

Too Lost has been fantastic to work with so far! Just released my first song with them and so far, everything has been great! I’ve used a few different distributors in the past, and thus far, Too Lost has not only been the best deal financially, but they’re also super on top of fixing anything that needs adjusting for release! I am excited to keep releasing music with them!

I trusted Too Lost with my music, but now I feel completely betrayed. On August 4, 2025, a fake copyright claim was made on one of my songs. I sent them all legal documents proving ownership, but they said the papers were invalid — even though they used the same documents to approve and release my track!
I even sent a legal notice and case copy against the fake person, yet Too Lost only replies once a month and keeps ignoring my follow-up emails. They’re holding my money and refusing to fix the problem.
I’m writing this review so that other artists don’t become victims of this scam. Too Lost must stop ignoring creators and start protecting our rights!

Too Lost is everything I hoped for in a music distributor. All the stores get my music, analyst is on point, and customer service reaches out in a timely manner always.

Timely Payouts, Incredible dashboard presentation and very easy to maneuver. It is easy to give credits in songs as well… which as a producer, I value!
I highly recommend !

The service is extremely disappointing. The review process is painfully slow, even if you upload your release three weeks in advance, it still gets reviewed at the last minute. They often wait until the week of the release to request additional documentation, completely defeating the purpose of early submission.
