Tasty food, pleasant staff, and reasonably priced food. (Livingston)
I've been here now a few times to the Hamilton one, I have tried to give it more chances but it is mediocre at best. The kids like it, but everything I've had , hasn't been great. Staff are always great and service is good but the food let's it down.
If there was zero star, I would have put that as from my experience does not even deserve a one star. Had a very upsetting and bad experience at the Braehead branch. We had booked online and they did not have the booking in the system saying we don’t get online bookings transferred onto our system. How is that a customer issue. When we were finally seated the food came and my husbands was burnt and mine did not arrive. My sons order was wrong. When i spoke to the waitress she was very rude instead of apologising and trying to diffuse a situation she also rolled her eyes at me. The Manager arrived and was asking us what food we were still waiting for and when I gave her feedback she was defensive and said I was rude and proceeded to say I would no longer be welcome here (great way to run a business-NOT)! Ruined our family dinner. The Managers need training as do staff. Very bad management and appalling service. Will never be back ever again! Disappointing Toni Macaroni.
Excellent customer service in Hamilton branch today: service very fast, I was helped to book a table on the app. Head chef Franco ( not sure of the spelling) went out of this world and cooked a desert that stepped being last year: what a first class service!!! Thank you guys
Smallest pasta portion i have ever been served from a main menu
All 3 guests had spaghetti or penne
Was size of a child's portion
Definitely the worst Italian food I’ve ever tried . Was served frozen in the middle arancini for my starter ( basically deep fried cheese balls frozen in the middle). Then got lasagne which was in a word tasteless . Budget food served at premium prices. Never even offered to wipe starter from bill. My wife ordered bruschetta and was served garlic bread with cheese unbelievably bad food. Giving it 1 star because the pint of lager I had was nice . Avoid at all costs.
Glasgow Fort. 5 of use having dinner. Penne pasta over cooked tasted like microwave pasta. Risotto rice under cooked and Bolognese sauce that could have come out a jar. Total waste of money, and Italian restaurant that can't get the pasta right is shocking poor
The front of service female was exceptionally rude and told me several times that “ There are starving people in the world and me sending one dish back had added to the situation”
I emailed to complain and was advised that they did nothing wrong.
They have ignored my request for complaints policy and directors name.
Silverburn Tony Macaroni.
Out for evening meal in Dundee. The starter, arancini, was pretty good but the mains, mac and cheese and a risotto, were stodgy and bland. Probably won’t go again.
ABSOLUTELY FUMING!! Accepted an advance order for delivery. Nothing extravagant pasta and two pizzas. Then delayed it, then delayed it again. On what planet does it take 2.5 hours to cook pasta and pizza!!
The Tony macaronis in Livingston centre is absolutely invested with fruit flies - it was a horrible experience and ruined the meal and occasion
First time ordering from this place and wanted something we like to make ourself but due to getting home late we decided to try Tony macaroni. NOW you would think the name alone would tell you it's got to make the best Mac n Cheese in town and when you arrive and step inside it's all looking very well with the big pizza oven with the real flame going on. So back to the Mac n Cheese, The pasta was fine you can't really go wrong with pasta unless you cook the death out of it. Sadly the cheese part was a massive let down,Very bland almost the same as the tasteless crap that comes in cans. I have to say after reading the menu and it saying it was made with cheddar gorgozolla and parmesan I would beg very much to differ. This cost £12.95 and £10.95 of this went in the bin.
Never again will I spend another penny with this food establishment total rip off and waste of hard earned cash.

Staff fantastic
Portion, huge
Flavour... left years ago.
Bland,orange, zero flavour..
If you want lots of food that is tasteless with zero flavour. .You will not be dissapointed.
The waitress knew what we were talking about when shared our feelings.
Did she feed it back?
Highly unlikely.
Plain dissapointed.
Promised 50% discount by Travel Lodge staff !!!
That didn't happen either!
Ordered macaroni it was tasteless and parts of it was cold and quite dry this was silver burn Glasgow we had just ordered it and was served before the drinks it was out in a matter if minutes the girl said to us do you want it heated up again I normally don’t write reviews but this was so disappointing it was the first time in this place and it certainly will be the last
Nice people nice food then I get charged with a 10% service charge that is ridicules food is dear enough without an addition of service charge, not be back , i was never told
We've visited the Tony Macaroni restaurant at Kinneard Park, Edinburgh, on four occasions for a light lunch. We went there yesterday. The food was fine. On the first three visits, I'm sure there was no 10% service charge added. We left tips. However, yesterday, £2.78 was added to £27.60.
I asked the waiter if the charge had just been intoduced. He said it had been there for years.
I'm puzzled.
Also puzzling is that £2.78 was added. 10% is £2.76. Easy to work out, particularly on an electronic till.
Only 2 pence was wrongly added to a smallish bill but if Tony Macaroni is doing this in all its branches, it would add up.
