Ordered a sweatshirt for a Xmas party and never received it. I wrote to tokyocanvas and they brushed me off to the third party they use for shipments. Never got anywhere with either so now I’m just out of 50$. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Never again.

Joke of a “company”, obviously just dropshipped from China. Their contact email is just an AI response which makes 0 sense so they’re uncontactable. 7-15 days shipping is a complete lie, I’m now 17 days waiting for my order. £100 wasted as my Christmas jumpers won’t arrive in time for my function because of their lies about shipping time. Avoid this company at all costs.

I ordered some clothing and wanted a return due to the poor quality. Customer service took forever to communicate, and it was genuinely like you told a chatbot „make the customer experience as bad as possible“.
I got a bit of the money back but only because I was very insistent on a refund (took about 15 emails with the shop).
I hope the shop gets taken down.

Really garbage quality sweatshirt. For almost $50 (including shipping) I expected it to be soft and stretchy, not paper thin, itchy, and significantly undersized. Plus the printing quality is very low, it’s some plastic like consistency ink, feels odd. On top of that, my shirt has an under coloration that makes it have a hint of the color your white Tee shirt gets if you let your armpits sweat freely for days. I showed my room mate, he instantly asked why it arrived dirty (the weird printing coloration), and then felt it and all he said was “ew, hard no”
Do not buy this brand. It’s Temu quality or worse. I emailed about a return, primarily because of the quality issues, but it also barely goes over my head even though ordered a size up- it’s TIGHT. I’m not optimistic. All reports/youtube and Reddit reviews consistently claim they play games for weeks via email, ofter small discounts instead of a return, and then have the audacity to charge shipping both directions. I will happily keep face and update if my experience does not match what I am expecting, actually hoping they’ve improved their customer service versus the last 6 months of negative Reddit threads about their customer service. Until then, I’m spreading the word far and wide, on all my platforms, that this is a brand to avoid at all costs.
The “Sweaters” are not actual sweaters.

Read the reviews. Material is horrible plastic feeling stuff you can’t wear, and an ultra low res print, not what they advertise at all. Avoid them at all costs.
Currently perusing legal claims so I’d advise others to get in contact for a joint claim

Slow customer service replies. The order hadn't been shipped in the 2 weeks I ordered. I go to cancel by contacting them and they want to charge 5% fee for cancelling despite the order not being sent out. Which is against the UK consumer law (if they ship to UK, they're responsible for upholding).
Stay clear of these guys

The sweaters from this place not only feel like plastic on the skin, the prints (the whole reason for buying them) are low resolution. I contacted customer service, no response. Stay far, far away.

Customer service doesn’t know how to properly respond to emails or change a size from large to extra large apparently. I’m trying to order Christmas sweaters for my coworkers and I highly regret buying them through this company and my order hasn’t even shown up yet… Their customer service is a complete joke. They should get out of the merchandise business and pursue a career in stand up comedy. This company is a BIG OLE JOKE.

I placed an order for three T-shirts on the Tokyo Canvas website. The shirts arrived but the fit wasn’t right and the quality of the print wasn’t what I was expecting (quite plasticky) - perhaps others wouldn’t mind but I didn’t like it. The returns policy allows for change of mind returns so I have since requested to return the shirts and was subsequently asked to provide detailed reasoning for the return, photos of the products, screenshots of the order confirmation and a photo of the parcel bag that the shirts were sent in. I thought it was over-the-top but provided what was requested.
I have since exchanged 16 emails so far with the customer service team trying to return the shirts for a refund. They initially offered me a discount code for my next order, which I was obviously not interested in, then they said they could exchange the shirts if I covered the freight despite me re-explaining that I am still requesting a refund as different sizes were still the wrong dimensions and I’m not happy with the shirt quality. After that I received the same automated response I got when I first contacted the team for a refund, requesting the same information I had already provided. I have tried to contact them several times since with no response for the last week.

Awful. Product arrived and (perhaps predictably, given the price point) it is a cheap print of a sweater, on thin nylon instead of an actual sweater. What is unusual is that I ordered a size up, and it was still far too small around the torso and arms, yet baggy in the shoulders. After emailing the company, they have twice refused to offer a refund, telling me to keep the jumper and they would refund 10%. This is against distance selling regulations and I am yet to receive a satisfactory response. Buyer beware.

AVOID. The clothing items are significantly smaller than advertised. You must request a return in order to send them back but the company will not allow it and dodge any request. They then try to get you to pay shipping again for a replacement (shipping is over £12). This company provide poor quality clothing than is not as described and then offer no route for a refund. AVOID.

I ordered two t-shirts. When they arrived, the colour was not as shown online. I ordered olive/army green but the t-shirts had a brown tinge around the neckline. There was also slight staining on one of the t-shirts. So an easy return? Not a chance. Clearly the company has no intention of offering me a refund. First request for return address was met with an email asking for photos of everything. Next I was told the photos were blurry. Photos of the t-shirts were pin sharp. Then the offer of a discount code. Subsequent emails saying much the same thing. Do not use this company.

When I contacted customer support to inform them that an item was missing from my order, they essentially told me I was lying and refused to refund or replace the item.

I’m waiting for you to email me the return address
So I can send these items back they are not to standard or authentic for the price
I don’t want a 10% discount
Your policy is refund within 30 days
I received items yesterday and emailed straight away
My emails are now being ignored
You need to update your website about international returns having to be paid for by the customer also
Order TOKY19830
Sent around 5 emails asking for the return address and information and received a Duplicate response
No I do not want 10% refunded
I want a your return address information
I’ve notified my financial institution
Your sending me bogus addresses and a bogus phone number
You sent me a return address of an empty lot
No chuangfa science and technology institute there
This is why you say you won’t refund if it’s delivered to the wrong address
Your nothing but scammers
I’ve also found posts on a scammer page where this exact bogus address has been given to people as return addresses for different businesses
I will be getting my money back through my bank
People do not believe any of these positive reviews the positive reviews are garbage

Buyer beware!
I purchased a T-shirt which arrived a couple of weeks later. Initial quality seemed ok at first but after a couple of washes and light use, the fabric started to develop holes and is obviously not of a good quality.
When attempting to arrange a refund I was offered only 10% of the value of the sale back, which is completely unacceptable for a defective product.
Shame on me for not doing my due diligence on this company before purchasing, as after visiting TrustPilot is seems clear that this company is a low quality knock off of a similarly named but much better reviewed company, based on the evidence:
- Dishonest returns and refund policy
- One single generic autogenerated response to all complaints
- Positive reviews bear many hallmarks of being AI / bot generation
I'll be opening a payment dispute with my payment processor. Recommend to avoid this company.

Received the order, the image was terrible quality, really blurry image and for the money I paid this is not acceptable. I contacted customer support and was offered a 5% refund. Again not good enough for the money I paid. Would strongly advise against using this company

Never received my t shirt and a fake phone number was provided to contact the courier. DO NOT BUY HERE
