ID check, easy to follow

Requested to complete as part if ID check in connection with sale of a property. All good, easy to follow instructions. My only quibble is producing documents like utility bills. Like others I went paperless a long time ago.

The friendly staff i met today are…

The friendly staff i met today are realy helpful,I've only just started to use the solicitors and they have been very helpful and helped me understand next process moving forward.

Passport photos issue

I struggled for over half an hour trying to get the passport photo accepted. I finally realised I was trying to take the photo of both pages at the same time, but it wanted separate photos. Problem is it didn’t tell me that, just kept saying “no white space” and “move the camera to avoid reflection” and “include bottom lines”. Very frustrating!

Why make life so difficult?

The process required me to be au fait with the internet and assumed I had a mobile phone. Where was the option to dispense with these gadgets? The process of filming was not easy and seemed unresponsive to my efforts to follow it. The additional questions/documents invited the response "none of the above" but that option was not offered, so at that point I had to give up.
