Shipping rolled is standard practice across the print industry; it protects the print far better than flat packaging would over long distances in transit, and we do send an email with guidance for unrolling and flattening it once it arrives.

Wish the print were higher contrast
Shipping was super fast and the framing looks nice! I was a little disappointed that the gold foil on dark blue background was much lower contrast than the mock up—it’s pretty hard to see the details of the map unless a light is shining directly on it.

Foil has a natural shine to it, so how it catches light can vary quite a bit depending on the angle and the room it's in; that's part of why the mock-up and the in-hand piece can look a little different, especially on darker backgrounds. Positioning it somewhere with a little direct or angled light really helps bring out the detail.

The white circle you're seeing is actually the moon phase you selected during the design process, but we understand how that could be a surprise if it wasn't what you pictured! But it would show in your order confirmation email and you could have removed the moon option before you approved the order for processing.
As for the wavy paper, that's not the quality we aim for, and we'd love the chance to make it right. Please email help@thenightsky.com with the order ID and photos cleary showing the waviness you describe so we can look into a replacement for you.

Possibly a different color on star chart.
It was all good, but the star chart in foil doesn't shoe up as well on black as I had anticipated. Next time I think I would get it in white. Framing, timing, and over all quality is great. Color choice was mine.
