I have used the Mortgage Genie for the last 8 years and 4 mortgage changes.
Andrew Dougal is absolutely fantastic. I don’t need to worry about when my mortgage is due for renewal as he contacts me well in advance.
I have a busy life and it can take me some time to come back to him but he’s so patient and helpful
He’s got me excellent offers, especially in the current climate, and offers me great advice and help.
He arranges reviews of my life assurance and mortgage protection too,

I’d highly recommend the Mortgage Genie and Andrew. Although anyone I have spoken to have been super helpful, responsive and efficient .

Brilliant service I'd recommend without hesitation

After having an painful process with an other mortgage adviser i was suggested by my friend to commission Mortgage genie. I have not turned back since i commissioned Andrew to handle my case - we got our first mortgage offer within few weeks as Mortgage Genie's process were very clear. The updates were pro-active ensuring the timelines are met. Without an doubt i will highly recommend Andrew/ Mortgage Genie to anyone within my network. These guys were really helpful, especially given the changes in interest rate over last few months. They take a lot of hassle out of the process of selecting a provider, and getting a mortgage agreed in principal. They were then very obliging about renegotiating that rate as my completion date approached (It was with the same lender so there were very few additional charges) Andrew Dougal was my contact and I cant recommend enough - but would also like to highlight that this is a professional company that was able to pick up my questions etc even when Andrew was on annual leave. If you like companies where you can pick up the phone and deal with a real person this is the mortgage broker for you.

Thank you for a faultless process from start to finish. Rachel, thank you for making the process so easy, transparent and worry free (for a real worrier). It'll be a while (hopefully) until I need to use the services again but when I do, I would definitely use Genie again. Highly recommended 👌

This is my third mortgage using the Mortgage Genie and they are always very professional, helpful and make the process more efficient when obtaining a mortgage.

I also used the team to undertake a comparison with my Life Insurance and they located a like for like policy, although £15 per month cheaper.

Great overall team and service provision.

As first time buyers of a new property, my fiancé and I were looking to take out life insurance. Adam was extremely helpful, listened to what we actually wanted from our policy and got us the best deal at a great price. Unlike some other companies we had got quotes from, the mortgage genie made getting our life insurance cover so simple; communication was quick and we weren’t bombarded with legalese or complicated terms; Adam was always willing to answer any questions that we had and we are extremely happy to be moving into our new home knowing that we have a great life insurance policy in place.

Our whole experience with the team at The Mortgage Genie so far has been brilliant.
Everyone that we have spoken to, Rachel, Adam and Amy have all been immensely helpful and always on hand to support with any queries we have. They have approached every situation honestly and informatively. ☺️

Brilliant service. Franco was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and responsive. Samantha was a great help too. I was really pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything progressed and the communication throughout was first rate.

Be careful using this mortgage broker - I used mortgage Genie for the purchase of my house as they were offering a £680 cashback offer via a third party.

2 years later despite numerous chasing the cashback still hasn’t been paid by mortgage genie and they’ve declined the claim even though I’ve provided email evidence from an employee at the time confirming the offer and my eligibility.

We are thrilled to say that we have just moved in to our new home and absolutely couldn’t fault the service we received from the Mortgage Genie -especially Rachel, Sam and Adam. However, we must give special credit to Rachel Hester who guided us through the process and achieved what sometimes felt like the impossible! Rachel is professional, open and honest, knowledgeable and conscientious, and easy to talk to. We genuinely feel that we wouldn’t be homeowners now if it wasn’t for Rachel. We would highly recommend!!

Eoin Horisk was our advisor and he was absolutely brilliant. He helped us navigate an extremely complicated re-mortgage. Even though our costs are going up due to rising interest rates, the increase was minimised by his hard work, perserverance and quick response times.
