I recently placed an order for a combo that included:

Thibaut Meurisse book Combo
Cute Astro Cat Light (Light Pink)
Chanakya Neeti book (Hindi)

However, I received the Astro Cat item in yellow color instead of the light pink color that I ordered. The other items in the order are correct.

When I checked with their support team they just send the below response -
pink color is currently out of stock, we've sent this item to ensure your order reaches you promptly.

However, I did not consent to receiving a different color product. I had specifically ordered the pink variant, and the yellow item delivered is not what was shown or selected on the website.

If product is out of stock, why are you taking the order? I can manage 20-30% change in product but this is not even 50% matching. See images attached I have ordered by seeing the photos you have added. Why don't you add this product image there? Completely disappointed with the product and support.

Wrong product and no response when asked for refund

Poor quality book delivered after 5 days.
No response recd even after mailing on the Id provided onsite.
Overall fraudsters running the site. I am going to report this further to save other people from such a fraud.

Hi so i ordered 7 books and when i started reading my 1st book I noticed a lot of pages were missing and were sticked incorrectly…same with the other books and also the cover of the books were in different language and not covering the whole thing, so overall it was a disappointing experience for me and i would preferably not like to order from the indian book store again.

Fake website. Scammsters. Never got my order. Collected ₹ 150-200 for COD in advance. The customer care doesn't work. Whatsapp number doesnt exist. Stay away.

These people sell fake books and charge the price of the original. They don't honor return policy if they send you a unreadable and fake book. Stay away from these people, you have been warned .

No doubt this is a fraud page.

My order was placed on 23rd and I never recieved it.

They don't respond on emails
They don't respond on Insta texts
They don't respond on WhatsApp Texts
They don't even f**king response on their own contact us form page.

I even paid extra for faster delivery and I still haven't received it till today (11th March)

Don't get fooled by their flashy ads and misleading catalog with rich products. They are pathetic losers who are just showing fake images to get real orders.

Legal action should be the way to teach them a lesson.

UNFOLLOW THEM AND REPORT THEM.....THAT'S MY ADVICE.

I was given a book that wasn’t the original. It’s a photocopied version of the book. The worst part is the quality of the photocopy was also bad. And poor customer care service too. Tried reaching out to return the books, no response.

This is a fraud company. They are scammers. They are promising good quality books but they are delivering pirated cheap quality books. Please don't believe their words. I have ordered books of 3000/- and didn't get All the books. And received books are cheap pirated books. All advertisements are fake. If you don't believe it, try searching "The Indian Book Store review" and then you will come to know how many people they have looted.

Cheats. Paid almost Rs 2,500 for a bunch of books. No delivery happened. The company apologised. found the order was cancelled by seller and never got refund. Plan to file a formal complaint with the cops so that no one else gets cheated.

Fraud company.. plz don’t place any Prepaid order from them.. I placed a order on 22 jan but till now no update…

Ordered 2 books. They are fake. One is ok but the other one is printed on one side of the page. It also has a bad stench. Their return policy requires unboxing videos and return charges. Extremely disappointed!!

Don't buy from here , their prices just look good. Otherwise it's just fake , cheap copy not even costing 100ruppes to make. The quality is very , very bad. Purchased 2.8k worth of mangas from them.

When it arrived , only demon slayer set arrived. And rest were not sent , and their customer services is the worst out there don't even try to contact them , they will take their sweet time to reply.

The condition of the bookset was so bad , I already asked for the refund under 24 hours. But they kept me circling from here to there. So they don't have to give refund.

Also their most reviews seems faked and staged, not acknowledging 1 star reviews and fixing them tells a lot about them.

Don't make mistake like me , please read all the reviews from everywhere and then at your own risk order from here.

Buy the orignals from the amazon , support the actual authors. Not these borad light scammers. Stay safe from ordering from here.

And yes most of their or 99% they show on Instagram is not even their videos. They are also stealing from other creators, not mentioning them

This is fraud company. I have ordered my products 2 weeks before and they are not responding to any of the query. It's a prepaid order. I would suggest not to use this site if insta handle. They are scammesters..

The books are in very bad state, I don't even call those as a book the pages are bad, torn and the response is bad as well.

I don't even give one star, I don't even call those as books. never ever trust this store and don't buy.

I contacted them after reading their reviews online, surprisingly they communicated very well and delivered books of good quality at fair price, overall nice experience 😀✌🏻

First of all delivery was not on time they delayed the delivery by 3 days and when the product arrived it was not what i ordered. I ordered a Harry potter pen stand and i got the Hermione one which i would have easily bought for half of the price i paid from amazon and when i try to reach them out for exchange there is not a single reply. Waste of my money
