Very Poor First Impression

"Melissa Acton-Bond" is the person who attends to emails.

I'm just finishing up with school, and taking a gap year. I want to get my Private Pilot License (PPL), so let them know that I opted out of Physics in my final two years of school - to sum up, basically missed 240 hours of class hours, many of the topics which aren't relevant. Shouldn't take longer than 3-4 months to make up for it. I enquiried which courses they would suggest, to which I get the most moronic response.

Read her response below to understand why they might suck at their training as well, given the quality of hire to mind their desk. May even be a scam to boot.

"It is very unfortunate that you didn’t choose the only subject that you should have chosen first to become a pilot. It’s a bit like a wannabe doctor not electing Chemistry or a Lawyer not choosing Law.

Good luck with your training….you’re really going to need it. We’ll keep our fellow training partners advised and ensure they give you all the help you might need when you ultimately contact one of them."

Ever heard of anyone studying law at school to pursue law studies? 🤣 Or medical schools mandating Chemistry as a subject at school for enrollment - it's optional, either/ or, at most medical schools. Not too many grey cells there.

The best PPL Ground school you'll find.

I don't think a better PPL Ground School exists. I was struggling with reading my way through the Pooleys flight books and becoming disheartened with my flying and PPL as a result. I don't learn well from just reading a book and trying to remember it's facts, especially when the topic is as dull as Air Law! Adam's PPL ground school was a godsend. I passed all 9 exams in 5 days and that included subjects I entered with virtually zero prior knowledge with. If I'm honest, it was an intense 5 days... BUT Adam's teaching ability is exceptional. The course presentations break down each subject so perfectly and mixed with an engaging teaching style, it makes these subjects interesting and fun to learn. The Great Circle will talk you through the subjects, use visual aids, presentations, Q&A's and practical exercises to teach the PPL syllabus. Which for me, is exactly how I learn best. Adam doesn't just teach the 'what', he teaches the 'why' behind it. Understanding the science behind WHY something works is crucial. Not only do you understand the concept better and become a safer pilot, but you can then use this logic to help dissect the exam questions/answers better too. Overall, 11/10. I can't rank this course highly enough.
