The team at AE does an exceptional job of engaging the unpublished job market, which I always knew was the 80% to the published 20% but needed assistance in finessing into this space.
My most impactful experience however was working with the interview prep team, particularly Chris Musano who does a truly exceptional job in this area.

I signed on and invested with The Ambitious Exec to not only gain some assistance but to learn some valuable job search and networking skills that I thought could benefit me throughout my career.

I especially found the following areas very helpful with my search:

- Linked In Optimization
- IRT and UVP identification
- Mock interview practice
- Offer negotiation

I definitely traveled through the "Valley of Despair" but after talking with the top counselors at TAE, I received some timely coaching and the "flywheel" started spinning. Despite some frustration due to the job market, I ended up with 2 great job offers and some part-time consulting gigs - all as a result of finding opportunities in the "hidden job market". I certainly recommend that all executives invest in the program to learn skills that will benefit them for many years to come.

No value at all. The resume they wrote was laughable. I never was able to speak to the resume writer. The program over promised and under delivers. They teach you a few tricks with LinkedIn premium and WeConnect to automate outreach. Nothing you cannot study on YouTube and execute on your own and save the thousands they charge. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Ambitious Exec was an incredible resource during a very stressful time after being laid off. The lesson plans were so thoughtful, practical, and perfectly designed to help me update my resume and LinkedIn profile, refine my personal brand, and navigate the job market with confidence. Everyone I worked with was amazing — supportive, positive, and always available whenever I had questions or needed 1:1 guidance.

I especially loved the workshops, which gave me a chance to connect with other members who were also job searching. It was great to share ideas, get feedback, and feel part of a community going through similar challenges.

The only area that didn’t quite meet my expectations was the We-Connect networking program — it didn’t feel as valuable or effective as the rest of the experience. That said, Ambitious Exec absolutely set me up for success and gave me the confidence I needed to land my next role.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for structure, encouragement, and expert guidance and coaching in their job search! However, they will not find a job for you - you need to do the heavy lifting.

The coaches at the company are amazing, they are very responsive, very attentive and very helpful with any and all questions.

I can’t speak highly enough about the entire ambitious exec process and results. I was able to secure another VP role the same day I parted from my last job. They helped me with a few really crucial pieces. First, defining my brand narrative as an executive. This really helped differentiate me in a market where competition is stiff. Second, they helped me prepare for interviews through 1:1 coaching and group settings where I was able to connect with other executives and build my network. Third, they helped me craft a powerful LinkedIn strategy that not only overhauled my profile to be polished and reflective onlf my track record but also provided me with outreach messages that actually got responses. Shortly after signing on I was getting recruiters in my inbox and responses from companies I was applying to. I not only secured an offer back to back from my last role but had 3 different compelling offers. I was already at the top of comp band for my role and many companies weren’t able to fund that salary but ambitious exec actually helped me negotiate above the top comp pay band and increased my salary which I thought was impossible at this level. I’m really grateful for their hands on approach, care, detail and knowledge. If you are unsure, take the leap you won’t regret it

My experience with the TAE program has been very positive so far. I joined the program a few months ago, and it has already helped me significantly in clarifying and drafting my Unique Value Proposition (UVP), as well as updating my resume and LinkedIn profile to align with my target UVP. The training videos and workshops have been insightful and practical. The coaches and support team have been highly cooperative, making the overall experience very good. I’m now moving to the next stage of the program and am confident that this structured approach will help me secure my desired next role.

I could not have ever set up and used the automated linked in connection We Connect without the assistance of Jay. The coaches on the group calls have been helpful and specific to questions i bring. They have helped me problem solve specific issues with my search process.
