I’d give Tarte 0 stars I could

I’d give Tarte 0 stars I could.

I reordered after they sent me the wrong order in September. This time the carrier hasn’t even dispatched my package and it is sitting in their warehouse. This was supposed to be second time lucky. I was told please give them another chance and I won’t be disappointed. LMAO! We am annoyed. It’s a shambles. My order has been refunded again!!

I have been told to reorder my items for the 3rd time (seriously!) and I will be given a 40% discount. I have only been given another 20% code again. Why should I trust you? How does it work on free items such as the £8 deluxe maracuja juicy lip plump in primrose? Will I be given one for free? I doubt it! Why incentive do you give returning customers other than a big fat zilch!

I have only been given a 20% discount as the agent said it was beyond her remit to give me 40% one? Does that make any sense? No normal company would do this. How to lose a customer in 40 days!

I have given you two chances to sort your sorry mess out. Yet again you expect me to waste my time and effort ordering from you and wondering if I am going to get the items I ordered or if they have even been dispatched. It’s a joke.

NARS, MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, Bobby Brown, YSL etc don’t behave like this and send out the correct items on time. Why can’t you?

My order number is 55528997. I ordered on the 5th and expected delivery was 21 October. And again another big fat disappointment.

Please give me a very good reason why I should ever use Tarte again. I shall be telling all my family and friends or avoid Tarte unless you enjoy being positively disappointed!

So very miffed at your poxy 20% offers. Match the price for the entire order or don’t even bother.

After all that fiasco - the parcel arrived this morning. My husband opened the door to the Postman. It should have arrived by the 21st. There was indication it was being sent and only checked updates after I contacted tarte regarding where my refund was as at.

Pleasantly Surprised

I placed an order with Tarte through Paypal. Unfortunately, PayPal messed up the shipping address I entered so it was wrong. I didn't notice the mistake earlier so I contacted Tarte to check the issue of my delivered package. Once we figured the entered address was wrong, they still offered me a replacement promptly, I declined it as it was a mistake from my side but the gesture along with their fast responses were excellent.

Ordered foundation 35H (as previously…

Ordered foundation 35H (as previously used and is perfect match for me). I saw the packaging was new when I ordered but assumed it will still be the same product inside. It was completely different. Several shades off in fact. Contacted customer service to be told that 37H is the old 35H. Customer service more interested in promoting their products than dealing with complaint. Will not bother with their products again.

Cannot seem to get an order right!

I wish there was an option for zero stars. Their customer service is so poor. I ordered two products in the one shade and received two products in completely different shades. I was told they couldn't offer replacements and was asked to order again. Completely unacceptable and will not be using this company again. Do better Tarte!

I ordered a product from Tarte on 1 May…

I ordered a product from Tarte on 1 May 2022, which was not available in Australia. I was advised by an auto response email it would be received by me within 14 to 20 days after the purchase date. I live in Australia so shipping will be 14 to 20 days ?, apparently this is all due to Covid-19. As I had not received the product by the 27 May 2022, I then emailed customer service to enquire its whereabouts and was advised in the following response:... that it takes
1 to 3 days to dispatch,
14 to 20 to ship and
then few days to clear through customs. I should email them again if the product was not received by the 1 June 2022 for solutions.
I left it another week and contacted Tarte again on 8 June 2022, after I checked the tracking number which came in the second email. I noted the number stopped tracking on 27 May 2022. It was not clear from that tracking information whether it had actually arrived in Australia or not. In the email of the 8 June 2022 I asked if I could have the code to log into the Shipping Companies Website as this was the only way I could check where the goods were located. Tarte's response was more or less.. OOPS...it's lost in transit, we will refund you in 10 to 14 days. On your next purchase we will give you 20% discount. Please use this code. This is a disappointing experience to say the least and won't even bother engaging with them again. Their emails are so poorly written that it was never clear what amount they were going to refund. Whether it was the value of the shipping and product or just product. I received a further email from Tarte titled "Appeasement" (appeasement means pacifying an aggrieved person through negotiation). This was about the refund. Well no, its not appeasement you are fulfilling your contractual obligation because you have to refund me if the product is faulty or not received. Then I receive another email titled "how did we do", please give stars...really. I can honestly say I wish I had read Trustpilot reviews about Tarte before making the order. This company needs to rethink how they deal with international customers and how they write their emails. Buyer Beware.

Lost my order after 2 weeks of waiting.z

Waited for two weeks and checked my emails and all of a sudden my shipped email had completely disappeared.. I contacted customer service who said “sorry we’ve lost your order, we can’t replace it or promise you will get the same offer as before. we’ve refunded you and it will take up to 14 days to receive the money back”
When I said I wasn’t happy with that I got asked to leave feedback and the chat closed.
Never experienced such disrespect for the customer base from any other company. Won’t buy from Tarte again.

WORST service

WORST service .
I ordered from tarte and every time they messed my order. This time i was given discount code to use but it didn’t worked. After discussing from tarte squad. I placed my order, they promised me to do price adjustment when order is shipped. Sheer LIE. I have all the emails and chat history as they promised.
Their service is so bad.

So this is not the end when my order arrived. Products were missing.box was damaged. When I emailed them all the pictures, they said you violated our rules. How can they run away with this. No refunds nothing. I wasted my hardearned money with this rubbish company.

Don’t waste your money as they don’t deliver what they promise.
And now not replying to any of my emails.

Worst service. So disappointing.

Massive dissatisfaction

This is the WORST company you can spend your money on!
I never received my original order, i just received something else after spending much more and when i told them they don t give a crap. I will never spend anything here and you should not trust them because you will never receive what you ordered.

Terrible

Terrible service. Just received my order and the creaseless concealer was missing from my order and the one included as a part of a freebie value set was also missing. Customer service told me I couldn’t get a replacement as I’m an international customer…I only ordered for the concealer! Now I’ve spent a load of money on items I only bought as extras to bump up the order for the free shipping. Such a waste of money and effort.

I was anxious after reading the reviews…

I was anxious after reading the reviews here, however my order arrived within 2 days of placing it. It was neatly wrapped and all items purchased arrived in good condition no breakages etc. No custom payment on arrival either, shipped with DHL. 10/10 would order again.

Cannot unsubscribe from emails

Cannot unsubscribe from emails (no option at the bottom), had to reset my password (shopped once 4 years ago) and it won’t let me delete my account. Contacted customer services who said use the link the email. If there was a link I wouldn’t be wasting my time chatting to a “Tartelette”.

Don't waste your time or money!

I've ordered from them before and not had a problem, so when the boxing day sale came about, i spent ALOT of money. 3 weeks later I finally received my order and its for someone else! I ordered 7 items and there were only 3 in the box, none of which were mine. I asked the customer service about my order and, as seems to be a running theme, they blamed my being an international customer for their inability to actually ship out my order! They offered me a code to purchase the items again and that is a solid HELL NO. I am not wasting my time or money on a company that cannot take care of a large part of its customer base. So disgusted at the service and so disappointed in a brand that claims to be a "No. 1 selling brand"!

BEWARE!!!

BEWARE!!!!
DO NOT and I repeate DO NOT buy their “you’re a total knockout” skin care set!!!
It caused a very bad reaction, burnt up my face. It was all red and burning hot! Took about an hour for it to go back down after I washed it off! My sister the same! So then I gave it to one of my colleagues and told her to test patch it. She was fine, put it all over her face and went to sleep. Woke up with a burning red blotchy dry face! If I could attach a photo I would!

Been a customer before and it’s been…

Been a customer before and it’s been great but won’t be again, customer service is terrible I ordered a bulk load of items and 2 of my main items were missing (foundation and the lipstick). Contacted customer service and was passed from 1 person to another, who told me that because I was in Australia that they couldn’t reship the items they forgot. But had to refund me for my missed items. In other words they couldn’t be bothered to send me and pay for the reshipping of the 2 items they missed. Really not happy, I basically made the order for the foundation and it’s what they missed and it’s not exactly cheap. I’ll just look for an alternative from now on. Oh and the 20% discount for my inconvenience won’t be luring me in either.

Misleading Products

I received my Tarte order yesterday. I got the eyeshadow palette I ordered which was fine and good. Though I also received what I thought was a mini Tarte Lights, Lashes, Camera mascara. I go to open it and wondered why it was sewn shut. I tore it open and there was no mascara. Just a plastic straw tube type of object. Apparently unbeknownst to me, it's only for looks to hang on your tree and not an actual mascara. However, when I ordered it, I was mislead to think it was an actual mascara, a mini one. Any "ornament makeup" products I've purchased from other companies all contained actual makeup. If it's not supposed to have actual mascara, it shouldn't be in the title of the product, and should be made very clear that this product doesn't contain any actual mascara. It's so misleading and false advertisement. I contacted customer service to get a refund because it wasn't what I thought it was. They said they couldn't give me one because it's final sale. They need to call it what it really is, which is an overpriced glittery stick ornament. I'm very disappointed, and am not sure if I would ever want to purchase any of their products again.

AVOID!!

AVOID!!! I've been their customer for years and never had any issues until this year. My parcel got "lost in transit" TWICE, yet it NEVER left their warehouse! Full of rubbish "can't replace internationally", I was told to order again and got price match to what I originally paid. Was told bs it's my address issue, the problem isn't on their side. Extremely dissapointed and will never ever shop with them again.
