I'm a man of 72 who knows very little about crypto and wallets but found the set up and transfer of crypto to my wallet straight forward and easy and hopefully will feel the same when i carryout the reverse operation of selling my crypto

My 2 cents about recent Tangem Pay: topping up was simple and transactions went through qickly.

I have just started using it I was not confident to use and got my grandson to transfer shares for me

Tangem is a very convenient wallet for everyday use. It feels as easy as a hot wallet, but much closer to cold storage in terms of security. I’ve been using multiple Tangem wallets for over 3 years, and overall the product itself is well designed.

However, there is one critical issue that cannot be ignored — the integration of Changelly.

I have used Changelly many times through Tangem without problems, which built trust. But one day, my funds were suddenly frozen.

I completed full KYC and beyond: provided bank statements, tax declarations, proof of funds, and verified ownership of both wallets — including the source of funds. Everything was documented clearly in one day.

Despite this, the process turned into an endless loop. Every day I receive new requests — now over 30 emails — asking about unrelated transactions, including wallets I do not recognize and activity from years ago that has nothing to do with my swap.

The requests keep changing, sometimes even containing incorrect wallet details.

At this point, it does not feel like a structured compliance process, but something unpredictable and open-ended.

Because of this, I now have to involve a lawyer and escalate the situation with regulators, which means additional cost, time, and stress.

Tangem itself is a great product. But integrating services like this creates a serious risk for users.

If you use Tangem, be extremely careful with the exchange feature.

i ordered these cards for my husband everything worked fine loaded some crypto onto them and now a couple months later the cards dont scan. we cant get either card to scan and that is the only way to transfer any of our crypto out of it onto another wallet. so now we have a bunch of crypto stuck unable to move or use and there is a lot of crypto he had moved over to his wallet. thinking it was all safe on this wallet and now we are out of luck.
sent all videos over proving that the cards wont scan but we are not really getting any help with this matter.
we even bought a separate scanner as they kept saying the phone was the problem but we used 3 different phones and the new scanner and nothing is working. seriously feeling like we just lost a large sum of money when it was supposed to be so secured. at the moment we are very unhappy as there is no solution

It takes you through step by step. Great back up as well especially the seed phrase. It's easy to move around with.

Purchasing the package was as smooth and trouble free as I could have hoped for 🙌 Very happy
I have set everything up including the VISA and the bonus claim of BTC
Transferred a bit of ETH to test out and it went smooth and fast
My next tranaction will be to get some USDC into the VISA vertual card

The wait time was much shorter than expected!! I love the simplicity and the way 1 app can manage a bunch of wallets but many only 2-4 maybe 6-8. Who know but it’s never enough. Thanks for my sets and the BTC!! Love my cards!!

I'm a total newbie to this sort of thing. To set the card up was really easy. Download the app and follow the on-screen prompts. Tap the card. Think of a password. And you're all set. I've not used the app at all yet, only to set up, but this first bit was easy and the app interface to buy and sell Bitcoin or any of a slew of crypto currencies looks straightforward enough. I am happy to share this detail for anyone thinking to buy Tangem. I will say though, I was under the impression one could elect to receive the seed phrase - as well as use the card alone - but if this is the case it was not at all apparent on setting up. Maybe it's too late to get it, but for those of you who want the card AND to know/harness the seed phrase it can generate CHECK IT CAN DO IT FIRST, it may not be possible.

I am extremely satisfied with my Tangem wallet. The setup was incredibly smooth and the card format is genius—no cables or batteries needed. I’ve already tested it and it works perfectly. It’s the most user-friendly and secure way to manage crypto. Five stars!

I really love the Tangem wallet. I love the fact that it is in card form which can be accessed via mobile, it makes it much more user friendly compared to ledger or Trezor which are also great cold storage. It is also very good value for money compared to the other main cold wallets. The only thing stopping me giving it 5 star rating is that it hasn’t integrated the pay feature yet in the UK (I hope it comes soon).
