3rd time I order something through…

3rd time I order something through their platform. Never came on time the app is showing, more then 1hour late. I ordered this time more then 3hours ahead, the app was showing an hour I waited 20min passed the hour. Called the restaurant, they didn't even processed the order yet and said it came in late... 3 hours late?!? The time before I ordered somewhere, same thing, but the owner yelled at me on the phone because they didn't deliver in my area... I'm 'ever using that app again...

Utterly awful experience - unable to get refund

Utterly awful experience. Ordered pizzas from a local restaurant we have used many times before. This time the pizzas were 2 hours late, arriving at 10:30pm, by which time we had given up and cooked already so the restaurant took the pizzas back. The restaurant insists the refund must be done through takeaway.com but after submitting 3 complaints via the website and trying to contact them twice on Twitter I have no options left. There is no phone number listed. They owe me €35 and I cannot get it back! Disgraceful company with zero customer service

Website lies about the order

It just happened to me for the second time to me that the food was ready at the restaurant (I called them to check) but the driver was late to pick it up for over an hour. Last time the stuff needed to wait for half an hour after closure because nobody was showing up. The website shows an information that "driver is still waiting" which is a LIE. I will never use Takeaway again, a completely untrustable service.

I ordered a meal this week in Antwerp

I ordered a meal this week in Antwerp. After 30min of delay (takeaway app completely messed up the live updates...), I contacted the restaurant. After a couple of calls back and forth, the owner found out that my address was duplicated and thus no delivery guy picked it up. The owner tried to fix, he and I called takeaway independently and more than once (because takeaway attendants just hang out the phone when I started talking). No solution.... I had to take my car, drive to the other side of Antwerp to pick up the meal. We finally ate 3h from the time of first order. Of course, once paid, we cannot cancel it. The restaurant owner was very helpful but takeaway couldn't care less. Around 30min after we arrived home (2h from first call), we got a call back from takeaway. They recognised their mistake with the address (an app bug) and they gave us 10% for the next purchase BUT they neither reimbursed the delivery cost I paid (1.5 euro) nor the fuel cost.
Honestly, this is the last time I use takeaway. This is not the first time I had problems and client support was bad. In two other occasions, they never responded to my complaints by email. A few euros are not much, but summing up here and there, plus all the nuisance of not trusting the delivery, becomes too much.

Won't delete curse reviews from restaurants

I have a restaurant we get reviews were people curse in other languages and when we contact takeaway they won't take the reviews down first the staff lies that there is a supervisor that speaks that language when i ask to speak to that supervisor she says there is no supervisor and so has LIED!! and then says that she "knows someone" who speaks that language that doesn't work there and he said its not a curse word how unprofessional worst customer service experience what a shame other platforms are becoming better everyday shame to lose to competition because
of bad staff like this 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

REFUND!! Order A4GV87 not received

I have made order A4GV87 at Sole Mio, but they have not delivered the pizza. Also, I tried contacting them several times without response. Then, I sent an email to takeaway but they are not proceeding with my complaint. Therefore, I look forward to having a refund, as I have already paid the full amount.

Unnacceptable

I am putting one star because unfortunately none isn't accepted.
I ordered from a sushi restaurant (Nagoya sushi Antwerp) on 31st January, paid 60 euros, for the food never to arrive. After two hours, the rider was nearing my house, and if I could check the tracker it'd probably still be nearing it by now.
To be fully transparent, the restaurant was an hour and a half away from where I lived, but when I entered my postcode it came up so I stupidly assumed it would deliver, right? (who checks the restaurant postcodes anyway if it pops up when you input your location?) Not to mention that they accepted the order and the payment.
I tried to contact the restaurant and no one could help me there due to language restrictions.
I contacted TakeAway twice straight away and in two weeks I have received one reply asking if my order had arrived in the end.
This is unacceptable customer service (if you can call that customer service at all). I constantly order on the website and I am absolutely furious about this lack of commitment to their customers.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHILE PLACING ORDER WITH TAKEAWAY.COM
We placed an order on 1st Jan 2021- the payment went through but was not received by the rsetaurant. So I immediately requested a refund. I was contacted for all the details. But it has been 12 days since I have furnished them with my payment receipts and other details they requested but I have still not received any refund. I have sent several reminders on email but no response. The worst part is that they do not have a phone number to talk to a person. Worst possible platform.

Terrible

Terrible! The app is a caos. I payed with card and said to me there was an error so I tried again and they took me twice the money. The restaurateur was very kind and told to the app that received twice the order, I also claimed but after one week I still don't have my money back! I wont use it any more.

I placed an order at a restaurant I regularly order from.After making the payment,I never received a confirmation.I called the restaurant to check and they said they haven’t received an order for me.So I placed an order again and ended up paying by cash.I immediately contacted takeaway customer service via the contact form but was never responded.Nobody has contacted me for refund yet.

Do not order here

I order from restaurant close to me. Now It’s already 1 hour, I font have food and nit even informations about what’s wrong. Nobody answering phone. I just loose 16€ with this company.

Orders from closed restaurants & NO REFUNDS

Not once, but multiple times the platform allowed orders from CLOSED restaurants, even permanently closed. The first time I called customer service they were very rude and sarcastic. The last time I couldn't even find a phone number and was forced to fill out a form. NEVER GOT REFUNDED. Horrible service. Order nr. FF6LR0. Got a reply that they contacted the restaurant and an offer for a voucher. That's a LIE. The restaurant is permanently closed. And I don't want a €5 voucher, I want my money back.
