Hi Alex thank you for your interest and contacting Tailz so we could clarify your concerns about the origins of the Tailz business and our dog poo bags.
For the public record Tailz.com.au is owned by my Australian Company and the product is shipped from my small garage in Perth, West Australia by myself, Cam or supporters and family. Our parcels are only shipped using Carbon Neutral couriers like Sendle & Australia Post. Our shipping labels on our boxes are printed on recycled paper with starch glue and a sustainable rubber band. (in some cases Australia Post staff have been known to add plastic packaging tape to our boxes after it leaves our hands, so apologies for that in advance, if it happens) To the best of our knowledge, all bioplastic bags are produced outside of Australia, unfortunately. There are a couple of small local companies like Tailz that promote and distribute Australian certified AS5810 & AS4736 biodegradable compostable dog bags to help reduce the huge amount of single use plastics being used every day by dog lovers. Love these super environment friendly bags. Sick of seeing plastic bags littering everywhere. Why don't our local councils use these bags? So easy to use with the little pouch on a key ring. Good on you Tailz. About time someone did something positive to help combat the global plastic waste disaster that we are faced with.

I think it is a good size to pick up dog's poops. It is strong enough (as I read other company's product review that theirs might snap easily). I like it that it has handles.
