Great SEO tool, but expensive
**Here's what I like about Surfer**
The best part about Surfer is its content editor with entity optimisation. This makes it one of the best tools for content creation optimised for SEO in the true sense. It's easy to set up guidelines & processes around this as well.
The other features like keyword research & topical map creation are good as well. But I use SEMRush for all keyword research - haven't really tried switching entirely to Surfer.
Finally, the AI editors are really robust. Lot of customisation possible.
**Here's what I don't like about Surfer**
Surfer is expensive! Both the content editors & AI editors are pricey if you're on beginner plan. Of course, the costs get justified the moment you move to higher plans.
Overall, Surfer does solve a real problem for me. I use Surfer primarily for content generation. It helps us create content through a uniform & structured way. My only concern is its high price tag.

A great holistic SEO tools, excels at entity optimisation!
I started using Surfer primarily for entity optimisation, and use Ahrefs for content & topic research. But their other tools like topical map creation, page audit etc. are equally robust as well. In fact, I am planning to switch entirely to Surfer.
Finally, the best part about Surfer is their amazing support team.
I’ve been using for Surfer for ~2 years. Here’s my detailed take:

- It’s on the pricey side, especially for entry level users
- I am on the enterprise plan, so the per feature/editor cost is affordable at that price point

Lots of tools out there
Lots of tools out there, but surfer is our main arm for content writing. Tracking KWs while you write in Google Docs is a huge need. Great tool.

We've been using SurferSEO for our content plan for almost 2 years and it consistently produces results. Since they released their Content Score there have been plenty of copycat solutions implementing this, but none seem to be effective as the original. Highly recommened tool for any serious content workflow.

Effective software that performs as advertised. Support from the company is good and a recent webinar to demonstrate new and updated features was very helpful. Price is higher than I would like.

Do the work, get the results
I have been using Surfer SEO for about a year and have found in increase in my traffic, my revenue has increases as well. This was not instant, it requires doing the working, and waiting for the changes to take effect.

Content Editor with the new topics feature is amazing
I have been using Surfer for a couple of months and the content editor tool is amazing. It's a very intuitive tool which checks the live SERPs and guides you based on the top rankings for both entities and newly added topics feature.

I've been using SurferSEO for years now and I just can't imagine running any SEO campaign without it's time-saving features. Content Editors are super helpful for creating briefs, SERP analysis shows me where I stand and whether or not it's a good idea to go after a keyword, and the new bulk audit feature is promising for knowing exactly which pieces of content to edit at any given moment. Did I mention topical authority maps? This tool is essential for anyone who is serious about more than just optimizing for SEO.
